things you own end up owning you
to me the market seems really exhausted, buyers waiting for another crash or maybe doesn't have anymore money to dump into the market, or no buyers at all... but most sellers seems to be done dumping. now it is the patience game, the next wave of adoption has to start buying in soon or the previous adopters (not to mention earlier adopters) will start loosing faith and get sick and start cashing out  some of their early investments.

Another day, again no movement...

which means the bearish pressure remains to hold off...maybe there loading up for the final dump.. maybe the bulls are just eating the coins to quickly.

I think the market has just been taking a little break before trying to break through resistance again. The average price has already started to move up a bit. I don't see the market responding very well to positive news. If someone manages to come up with some convincing bad news that could be decisive. I'm sure we will know more Monday morning.

It is interesting to observe the extremely diverse range of coexisting opinions on the price here. One group of posters will be absolutely confident that we are inevitably seeing $5000 by the summer, and the next group of posters will have lost all faith and not believe that it will even recover from this crash and hold value at all.

And you're part of which group? Wink
Luckily, there is a middle ground.

I  doubt he's part of this one Smiley.

Spanish Bitcoin trader

that cost pre transaction is babylon it assumes everyone is mining with equipment 6-12 months out of date .
Is it?  What factor should one apply to those number to get the real cost?

I don't get the point of the discussion. It has always been obvious to me that the cost per transaction adds the fees and the inflation at current USD value of bitcoins. I have just tested it and I get coherent numbers between the different charts (tx per block, fees per day, value of bitcoin), I might download the .csv's if I really thought I could be wrong.

Now, the "Network deficit", that's bollocks, maybe that's what Adams was thinking about.
