lol. when one of your strategies backfires

Weird, I went with 15 minutes to spare and just got back and they scanned my Id and then quizzed me on all my personal information that popped up on the screen saying I was a registered voter.

Funny thing is I leaned over her and looked over at her tablet and read it all off the screen and then asked her if she was sup[posed to let me read the screen while she quizzed me. She was short. Cheesy

I think your quoting Russian bot farms.

from what I know there are states with voter ID and states without. So I guess you are in a state with voter ID

I just found the posts funny. Couldn't say if they are real oc!

and why has it always to be the Russians  Cheesy

17% of votes in and trump has 14.3 mill Harris has 11.8 mill

looking trump early

trump 105

harris. 27

270 needed.

I can't seem to find any comparison to the last federal election.  It would be nice to see some graphical comparisons of the votes wrt time for 2020 vs 2024.

cnn john king gives info like:

at this point in time in philadelphia biden had 80%  harris has 87%

but he gives more. than that one example.

I see a decent shot for Trump as he really turned tables in Georgia.

grand total
21.3 mill trump
18.7 mill harris

very good for trump

update on electoral

trump 154
harris 27

270 needed.

this looks pretty good for trump

I was going to place a bet on Trump but my BTC gains in the last hour or so already dwarf anything I would have won.  Cheesy

BTW apparently Trump in a speech today praised the French system for elections, where we all have a voting card, show ID, and the result is known at 8PM.

He's not wrong, and in a country where you need an ID for a lot of things and get it for free, and get the voting card in the mail, it's not a big hassle put on people.

With that said he would never have won an election with our system, since we directly vote for the president, not indirectly, so you need the "popular vote" as there is nothing else.

I just realized that until this weekend, every-single-time I've come to the US since my youngest was born, I've been asked for ID to check into a hotel, even though I book well in advance and pay up front with my credit card.  I used to argue because the credit card companies forbade asking for ID in order to use the card but eventually I gave up.  This week, I've checked into 3 different hotels with three different parent companies and not one of them asked to see my ID!   I can hardly wait until I travel here next time to see if this is a new trend or some sort of election-time anomaly.  Maybe they'll stop asking me for ID to purchase alcohol too... strange.

I am 67 and once in a while I get proofed for buying booze 🍸.

NJ law state all must show i.d. no exceptions. So some do proof me.

But why?  WHY??  It makes zero sense.  Land of the free...
I haven't been asked in Canada since I was 17.
