Well.. it didnt really take more than a glance at market share pie graphs to show gox is dying.

I really wanted gox to stay as their incompetence causes volatility.. but, I mean, those fuckers dont deserve a penny. Awful platform, support, etc.

Trading has resumed but APIs are down or only partially-functional? Is this what happens when bots are not trading? I.e., literally almost zero volume. lol. Knew it all along. 90% of the volume is botwars.

What makes you think APIs are down?  My bot is working fine.

sure ppl have said this but

bitstamp has significantly more volume today than gox

11,403 vs 8,146 BTC right now

cool

Which might explain bitstamp having zero volume shown here:

It pains me to post anything even slightly bullish, but I suppose I can do so once in a while.

Google "debt ceiling X date" for plenty more recent articles on the matter.

WB to "the world's most sophisticated trading platform."

It can't even compete with NASDAQ on downtime. 3h15min against nasdaqs 3h.

NASDAQ does not even come close to what MTGox and most other Bitcoin exchanges do when it comes to uptime since the Bitcoin exchanges run 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Yeah, I forgot the sarcasm tag. I see that Gox have problems, but they have also been a trailblazer in uptime.

You're never too old to think young.
Trades are moving through MtGox again but some tickers still aren't working. Both i286 and Clark Moody seem stuck while Bitcointicker and Bitcoincharts seem to be back.

No panic, though. Hmmm.

Maybe it's because they are playing their own game, maybe it's because they cannot get their engine more sophisticated due to their poor coding skills. Maybe ... I don't know.

Better way would be to run customers agents in a sandbox. Stop-loss or whatever according you your own rules.

Maybe we could do something to influence Gox through this forum.

GF's get boring too, then nothing ever happens with them also.
True. Some can even get expensive over time.

Maybe it's time for a replacement?

BTW mine keeps asking "what is happening with the Bitcoins?"

Nice Smiley I want such GF too! Smiley Any tips?  Grin
