The bids and the asks are very close together, I suppose that a lot of cash/BTC needs to change hands for the price to move significantly in either direction.

Anyway, back on topic.... I wonder if this is now a return to the stability that we've had over the last few days, or is it the calm before the storm, as seems to be the norm with BTC?

When did that happen? What do you mean by storm? A dive or a take off?
Selling pressure is still strong near the vertex, t's quite visible by the steepness of the red hill on chartbudy's plots. That there are little coins for sale at higher prices is quite odd. Looks like the market itself won't go anywhere... traders have little to win/lose. Only more demand for coins will drive the price up, or of course, people start to not care about bitcoin and it will loose it's value.
When the price was 40, a lot of people said the price by the end of 2013 would be either 400 or 0. Half a year left... any guesses? Right now it is not showing great potential to bit climbs.

I have worked too hard, gotten irritated, and my behavior has not been up to the par. So now I will take a rest and mind my own business in calm quietness for days, weeks or months. They will tell me when I am clear to leave. Just forget about me, until I come public again. If everybody talks about me all the time, what difference does it even make whether I am here or not??

He's right Rpitila, take that break and enjoy the peace away from here, that way you'll be back on form in no time, we all need a change of scene sometimes but that's not always as obvious to us when we're in the middle of a situation as it is when looking from outside. Take it easy for a few days and you'll soon be back to your old self again. I look forwards to reading your continuing adventures when you return.

I'd say that's just normal price oscillation between bids and asks. Taking another chart (M5 timeframe) they aren't even that straight.

I don't think my blue line holds any more unless it is shifted downwards, this phase is most definitely post-crash.

The bottom of the channel was $114 for about an hour or so today, could have been the work of a bot working on small amounts. This was shortly after the 4K BTC or so Asl wall was set up on $114 which was bought into.

Please don't take anything that is written too seriously. After all, it's the protection of the screen and keyboard that allows forum users to be so open with each other. It also allows a certain kind of insensitivity that I know I and others can be guilty of.

I assert that my prior claim of the Great Consolidation occurring continues to be correct.
Unfortunately I don't have the hard data, but one thing I am amazed to see is large increases in liquidity. 10-20% movements are starting to require $5M or more. The market grows deeper my friends. Good news for all.
