http://threejs.org/ is a lib you will wanna have a look at, too.
I think matlab would be 100x easier than any if these options. Just input data as matrices, (time, bid, volume, etc) and graph using mesh command. Make a movie if you want as well.

I am not a techy, but I cannot imagine that that this could not be stamped out very easily and the culprit identified.

Yeah, I can tweak the angle but it's not quite as smooth as I'd like right now. I had to fiddle with it quite a bit to have it look halfway decent and I think I need to rewrite my equations a bit but it wouldn't be terribly hard.
All hand-written in Perl I thought about the polygons but they would hide data behind. Not sure if semi-transparent would be a possibility. I also have some ideas for other options also

Nice did you code it yourself?
You might want to use polygons to make it look "solid" another thought would be to color code the age of the orders.

I know my last prediction was wrong (rally this week) and I feel like a hurt bull, bleeding. But I really got a feeling the lower this drops the harder the rally will be. Starting next Wednesday, maybe even on the weekend (!!). Just my feeling, which is recently usually wrong.

Doubtful at this point. The $9M missing from the bid side should make any dumper fearful.
As I'm completely new to this, does that mean the price will go up or down? Down more?
I think we're heading back up a little for the short term. No idea for the long term.
