A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.

Investment money is always on a round trip, so expect it to come back into BTC sooner or later.
I was thinking the same thing: all those people now selling are only hoping to buy back (more) Bitcoin cheaper later on. Some will win, others will fail at their timing and buy back more expensive. And that's why I'm not trading, I'm not risking it by selling low.

That's what i have learned painfully from my first trade...

Ugh. Not the 50s again Sad

haha now you can be happy if we stayed in the 50s  Cheesy Cheesy

Some less faint hearted pockets should take advantage of the dip either through ETF's or Exchanges/OTC, so mid/longterm the anticipated rise of BTC will resume.
In fact, i'v been waiting for this post-halving, pre-bullrun dip already, because it's almost traditional, if you zoom out.

Holy shit! What a massacre! Frankly, I don't remember anything like that happening during a bull season.

So, the paperhand japs are selling because their markets are f*cked, billionaires want a final squeeze and cheap coins?

I. Need. Hopium.  Cool

It's all good, don't worry. This is just another Covid crash scenario, wait till you see the price in a years time, you'll be planning which island to buy.

The problem is that at exactly times like these bitcoin should be doing the exact opposite, going up. That's what it was made for, and not just some speculative risk off vehicle.
Unfortunately or fortunately Bitcoin exist in an environment.
I can say Bitcoin is a lil unlucky this period surrounded by various instability in the environment
US election, interest rates fluctuations, instability in Middle East ( https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/articles/c80xxeqel5po.amp) and not excluding the Japan Stocks record decline.

It's like we heading towards a macro/Geopolitcal collapse.
Many first choice during Crisis is Gold and after a lil while some starts optioning For Bitcoin
Same occurred during the Covid pandemic

We just have to be patient for now.

I don't think it "should" be doing anything other than what it does. And it was made to be a decentralized ledger with a fixed supply which no single party can control, that's it. Despite the recent crash it is doing that just fine.

I think for it to be a safe haven the market cap has to be a hell of a lot higher than it is now.

No one is arguing the technicals. I'm talking about perception, seems like we're still not ready and more time is needed ...

People are stupid, takes a long time for them to wake up. We are the very early adopters.

Great idea, set the lifeboats (Bitcoin) on fire when the ship is sinking (other markets). Irrational people makes me tired.

who is going to be the next mindrust?

Not me, but I was just thinking that. Some people will be panic selling for sure.

I don’t use leverage to trade but I did consider opening a long but it’s not my thing so I didn’t.

I’m balls deep in Bitcoin, more so than at any point in this cycle so I have limited fiat reserves for dip buying. If we sell off even more once US markets open or Iran starts bombing Israel then I will find the fiat from somewhere to buy a few coins.

HODL the line, do not panic sell. Don’t do it publicly any way because your username will be engrained on the WO forever like dear old mindrust.

Agreed, I'm balls deep in Bitcoin as well (and it's not the first time during a crash, always sucked at timing).

Hmm, the surface should be around 65k USD, it's dive mode for the sub (das boot) again, back to listening for sonar pings, avoiding sink bombs and fixing leaks.

Any more bright ideas, Mr Jerome Powell?

 Roll Eyes

To be fair this probably has a little more to do with the Japanese central bank.

US stock market was already crashing on Friday. He would definitely have had early access to the job data that caused that.

They're just behind the curve all the time.

People have been saying "we are never going to see zero percent interest rates again"

I'm pretty sure that's where we will be headed towards eventually.

This Japanese thing started last week though. Powell of course has completely fucked up as well, but it's a team effort.

100% agree with you on the zero percent interest rates. In hindsight I think that will sound as stupid as the "higher for longer" crowd.
