Sigh
Tomorrow(forum time) is Monday again.
Off to Work.

Work was the best excuse to get out of things I didn't want to do.  I worked evey other weekend as it was and could always pick up some OT, have a good excuse and make some money all while getting out of nwanted socialising.  I do miss that aspect of work.

Apart from the poignant haiku, there is this color sorcery. I suppose you didn't make it by hand?
Of course, as the local resident hatter, you're sure to have a few tricks up your sleeve.

While I could make it by hand and have used Perl for creating similar effects, why reinvent the wheel when Mr. Orjk has done such a great job... or is it Mrs.?  I dont know but thank you Pat!  Here's a link- https://patorjk.com/text-color-fader/

Man who stares at charts (and stars, too...)
Just read about the Bitcoin whale that sold 1.500 Bitcoin at Bitfinex "at a loss" (of 5-6%) on BTC-ECHO.
He said he got hold of about 8500 coins when the price was around $64.5k earlier this year Roll Eyes
Reason: Losing faith in the success of Bitcoin.

I bet we will see a good series of pumps when this guy and others like him liquidate their remaining holdings at a loss, maybe at a slight gain to compensate for the former loss(es).
Tastes a little like mindrust to me, but in the post-halving breathing-stage.

Moral of the story: If you have money, it doesn't guarantee success in Bitcoin unless you understand it well.

Hodl! is the better option. I have had buys up to $60k in the past. If i would have sold these coins within two years, i would have lost a high percentage of the money i used for these buys. This dude must be a noob, because he sold so early at a loss.
Part of the learning curve, i'd say.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
I don’t get this news outlets recently. Why is it that every time there’s a bullish movement in Bitcoin,, they always tie it to institutional investors? Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

What are they trying to say? It’s like they’re pushing the narrative that Bitcoin’s rise is all because of the big players, but that’s not always true....

I would not proclaim that for sure that the mainstream media are always inaccurate, even though they do frequently have sloppy and/or even misleading points that they seem to be making.

It does seem to be difficult to figure out where demand (and/or price pressures) is(are) coming from, and there is quite a bit of evidence that in recent times, perhaps since October 2023, the BIGGER players have been contributing quite a bit to the upward price pressures, including with the ETFs that were not really available to normies in the beginning (yet we have some large selling at the same time and a quite a bit of FUD type spreading, which may be ways for BIGGER players to buy cheaper while retail is selling.. perhaps?  otherwise from where are they getting the coins?

Avenues to buy are becoming more and more available to more normies as the Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) are continuing to expand into more markets (or more individuals have the ETFs coming available to them or to their employer or to their institutions).   Going through an ETF does not seem like it is exactly normies since the institutions hold the coins, yet it seems that even the ETF administrators require retail to buy their shares and so the ETFs would end up buying the underlying BTC (at least it seems that they are supposed to hold sufficient collateral, which would be pretty dangerous if they did not actually hold the BTC).
