Let's talk about a tinfoil hypothesis.

What if Riot's $950M offer to Bitfarms has Blackrock behind it?
What if they want to slowly get 51% of the miners so they can fork btc in the future?
What could (user) nodes do to avoid that?
Could the community at large basically stop them as already happened with the Segwit wars?

And buy a cybertruck later…. First edition will have some annoying flaws…. Tongue

Yeah, like the Ford Edsel. I think the first edition had some annoying flaws anyway, lol.

Albeit,  I shouldn't make fun of shit boxes. After all, my first car purchase was a Chevy Vega. (I was young and dumb and it's all I could afford)
What a pile of junk that was. When I totaled it, it was actually a blessing in disguise.

BTC + Crossfit, living life.
The countdown for when mtgox coins start hitting the market has begun. Me personally, I’ll probably sell off 1/3 of what I get and invest it into the stock market to get some extra dividends coming in and use the rest to pay for my Cybertruck. I had considered that BTC gone a long time ago, so getting it back now with such high prices is pretty cool. I suspect others will be dumping as well, but this is the last speed bump on the road to $100K.

Bro why would a sane person sell
Middle of the bull

I pretty much already gave a reason in that I had long considered these coins lost.  Why would I sell BTC that I had considered lost to pay for a Cybertruck instead of using investment money?  Well, that's a bit of a personal finance issue but the short end of it is that I'm uncomfortably long BTC right now.  It makes up a majority of my net worth and while I'm extremely bullish and believe we'll see a $200K BTC price in the next 18 months, life doesn't go on forever.  At some point you've got to spend some money and have some fun with toys.  If I didn't own >10x as much BTC as I do stocks, I would consider holding and spending my USD, but as stated, this recent bull run has made me slightly uncomfortable with the diversity of my investment portfolio.

Fck those stocks man...give youself just 1 year extra.

Indeed a personal issue…. Just not a reason why majority of these coins would be sold… could be that the majority finally have some BTC back and there journey maybe starting again… could easily be a story we’re more of the peeps are been protected from selling and know understanding they have to hold on to these precious coins….

take some profit.  don't worry if it goes to 100k or 200k.

10% of your btc won't break things if you go to 100k or 200k you will still have 90% of the btc.

stupidity?

Agreed, although I question your judgement buying a Cybertruck?? Seriously bro?
I'd be interested to know how that  $100,000  "toy" works out for you.
Hopefully better than the plethora of Elon fanboy folks who spent $100,000 on a ....ahhhh phukit, not gonna go there.
Just Google Cybertruck horror stories.

What are they doing, mixing them?

I got bored tracking the splits and sends.

surely they are preparing to buy some crack from the darknet

I'm wondering if they are running off a playlist to break any links from tainted wallet addresses before distributing them.

I have no clue what the algo is for links through kyc that break a taint chain.

*it would a black eye if the coins they distribute start popping on kyc exchanges. Lol

yeah that's interesting. But these coins are old too. Maybe they lose their "taint" after a while, depending on the regulation. At least they def. can be tracked back to the trustee, so maybe that's enough

If he's still around when Ross Ulbricht gets pardoned, we can all order a hitman from Silk Road 3.0 to take care of him once and for all. Cool
When I was a bitcoin newbie, reading this paper on Assassination Markets (or Assassination Politics) made me see things I hadn't fathomed.

According to this article published by Yahoo News, Dr. Wright intends to appeal the court ruling.

Maybe I am being a bit overly picky about the use of "Dr" or any need to agree to describing such status, even if some of the articles and even the judge had chosen to use such a title when describing CSW in ruling against him.  Sometimes courts will go out of their way to make sure that they do not appear bias, which might partly explain the court's use of the Dr title for CSW.

I wonder what the legal cassation arguments will be to invalidate the ruling after all the detailed evidence presented by the court. I also do not think that the defense team or the court overlooked or forgot any of the details. I do not understand why some people insist on clinging to allegations that have been proven false beyond a reasonable doubt.

Beyond a reasonable doubt is a criminal standard, and so far, these have not been criminal proceedings, so the standard is not as high.. The standard in this Craig Wright (CSW) would be clear and convincing or preponderance of the evidence or some variation that is not quite as high as the criminal standard.

At the same time, I noticed that the price of BSV decreased after this ruling was issued, but the decrease was very small and almost insignificant. I was waiting for the entire concept to collapse because this court ruling has proven the invalidity of the entire narrative on the basis of which this project was launched.

There are not very many folks buying that BSV crap anyhow, so I would imagine that it is is somewhat propped up.. but yeah, even those propping it up might not like the amount of bleeding that they might have to sustain to keep the price from dropping even more.

Craig Wright is no Doctor. Neither medical, nor the real one (of Philosophy). Rather, he urgently needs a medical doctor (of the psychiatric variety).

I hope he disappears into nothingness and stops abusing the legal system against Bitcoin.

If he's still around when Ross Ulbricht gets pardoned, we can all order a hitman from Silk Road 3.0 to take care of him once and for all. Cool
