The countdown for when mtgox coins start hitting the market has begun. Me personally, I’ll probably sell off 1/3 of what I get and invest it into the stock market to get some extra dividends coming in and use the rest to pay for my Cybertruck. I had considered that BTC gone a long time ago, so getting it back now with such high prices is pretty cool. I suspect others will be dumping as well, but this is the last speed bump on the road to $100K.

Bro why would a sane person sell

What are they doing, mixing them?

I got bored tracking the splits and sends.

surely they are preparing to buy some crack from the darknet

I'm wondering if they are running off a playlist to break any links from tainted wallet addresses before distributing them.

I have no clue what the algo is for links through kyc that break a taint chain.

*it would a black eye is the coins they distribute start popping on kyc exchanges. Lol

I did think it was a bit odd when they transferred them the 2nd time, ending in 3 wallets with all the same amount. Definitely following some kind of playbook they did all the small tests before the big transfers too. Not too shabby tho on transactions fees moving $3B for $~10 a go

Man who stares at charts (and stars, too...)
Unpopular opinion: Bitcoin is the most appreciated crypto, because simplicity silences anything noisy over the long term.

I disagree, in particular with the implementation of Ordinals. Bitcoin has scaling problems, which layer-2 protocols like Lightning try to solve, but Ordinals are working against these solutions, because they are clogging the main-chain blocks.

EDIT: I felt the need to add that i only criticized the simplicity aspect of your (unpopular) opinion. Bitcoin is working and survived hundreds of deaths, the only logical conclusion is that it's the most trusted, and thus most appreciated crypto.

I think what ultimately makes Bitcoin more valuable than others is that it is widely considered to be the most fairly distributed cryptocurrency and that is something that will likely make it unique forever. Obviously there is better tech out there.

Which "better"?
There is no "better" without context (usecase).

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

According to this article published by Yahoo News, Dr. Wright intends to appeal the court ruling.

Maybe I am being a bit overly picky about the use of "Dr" or any need to agree to describing such status, even if some of the articles and even the judge had chosen to use such a title when describing CSW in ruling against him.  Sometimes courts will go out of their way to make sure that they do not appear bias, which might partly explain the court's use of the Dr title for CSW.

I wonder what the legal cassation arguments will be to invalidate the ruling after all the detailed evidence presented by the court. I also do not think that the defense team or the court overlooked or forgot any of the details. I do not understand why some people insist on clinging to allegations that have been proven false beyond a reasonable doubt.

Beyond a reasonable doubt is a criminal standard, and so far, these have not been criminal proceedings, so the standard is not as high.. The standard in this Craig Wright (CSW) would be clear and convincing or preponderance of the evidence or some variation that is not quite as high as the criminal standard.

At the same time, I noticed that the price of BSV decreased after this ruling was issued, but the decrease was very small and almost insignificant. I was waiting for the entire concept to collapse because this court ruling has proven the invalidity of the entire narrative on the basis of which this project was launched.

There are not very many folks buying that BSV crap anyhow, so I would imagine that it is is somewhat propped up.. but yeah, even those propping it up might not like the amount of bleeding that they might have to sustain to keep the price from dropping even more.

Last May 20, a British court issued a 230-page memorandum proving, with arguments and evidence, that all the allegations that CRAIG WRIGHT sought to promote over the past years were false in an attempt to prove that he was the designer of Bitcoin and the inventor of the name “Satoshi Nakamoto.” The case was presented by a group of specialized researchers, and the trial lasted five weeks before the court issued its final decision invalidating all of CRAIG’s claims, despite all the defense team’s attempts to prove them.

The decentralised and openness of BTC is what makes it stand out among all cryptocurrency out there. We are clear that Bitcoin will use PoW and won't switch to any other consensus algorithm, there will be 21 million BTC that will be generated ever with no pre-mined coins and more. There is no doubt that BTC is the only truly decentralised cryptocurrency available till date.

sorry for being frank, but you actually sound like a religious nutter...  still chasing them merits?

I wonder how this low risk trade worked out ...

Dash is still in buying range. Seeing the underlying potential of this coin, there is not much risk involved in buying Dash at 100$.
