Bitcoin: Finally you can take it with you.

Actually, as Satoshi said, you donate it to everyone else (hodlers).

Great point Jimbo! Losing your life or your coins makes those coins lost/unspendable thus cutting the supply and increasing the price eventually. I'd like to thank that British guy with a HDD full of coins thrown in the junk...  Grin

Ascending Triangle on BTC 4H Timeframe.

Aren't we suppose to touch 30K-31K before breaking out? or has that changed now?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.59146574

I hope no one was waiting for 30K-31K to buy in!

You know the old saying: "Close only counts in hand grenades, horseshoes and technical analysis."  Seriously, though it's a game of percentages.

Had to google that saying... I like it! Will add it to the arsenal and use it!

But I think the following proverb may be more suitable..

"throw enough mud at the wall, some of it will stick and hope your audience has a memory of a gold fish!..."

Farewell, Leo
Hey, hey, hey, I saw what you did there. It's an unfair comparison due to different GDP's. In 10 years, it'll be far easier for a company to reach $1T market cap (I suspect) than it is currently.

🎄 Allah is The Best Planner 🥀

Impossible. There is no way we're going to repeat 2018. Not sure if you were in BTC back then but just to remind you the price went down around 70%. I'm not operating with exact numbers but just approximately 70% down from $40k is $12k. Don't think any mining could be profitable or long-term sustainable at that price. What could happen for the price to hit $12k today/this year: 1. USA/Russia/EU ban Bitcoin 2. Saylor/Grayscale, billionaires sell their stashes 3. Serious flaw found in BTC (quantum attack?) causing complete meltdown 4. World War 3 starts. So as you see I lied to you saying that it's impossible. A combination of these factors can lead to going really low, perhaps sub $10k. Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? It's up to you to decide.  Cool

I don't know bitcoin price is backed 2018 $10k or lower but the truth is bitcoin number of time breakouts is the top price for multiple factors,  bitcoin holder is always known as the time-to-time breakout top button.

Luckily after 8years bitcoin is the top market reacher product and valuable coin. hope bitcoin changed the global system for money transactions Tongue

In totally unrelated news, the Dutch National Championship Riding a Bike in a Headwind (on a bike without gears) was held today in brutal circumstances. Hardly any video of it available yet other then this, here's a clip from a couple of years ago.

Also unrelated, a superyacht was built for Bezos in a wharf not far from where I live, it's being transported now. https://www.nu.nl/291265/video/superjacht-past-maar-net-tussen-brugdelen-in-alphen-aan-den-rijn.html

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
Regarding bequeathing, I haven't decided yet what to do.

It mostly depends on the overall value with respect to $$.
Different value means things could be organized differently: RE, trust(s), organizing a charity or contributing to one, etc., etc.
Depending on the number of zeroes, you could do one type of things or another as direct inheritance could be a blessing or a curse.

Yes, it makes a difference for your 20 BTC if BTC prices reach $1 million per BTC.. or $10 million per BTC.... only one magnitude of difference, but surely, if the $20 million in value is not feeling a bit excessively (beyond fuck you status), then the $200 million should feel that way.

...also we are potentially considering some of the matters differently if we are able to get to either $1million per BTC in this particular cycle (or one or two down the road), and even if $10 million per BTC is ONLY one magnitude higher, it surely should be within grasp for reaching $10 million per BTC within 1-2 cycles of having had reached $1 million per BTC... so could happen as soon as this cycle for the smaller end of the range, but seems reasonably reachable even in less than 4 cycles for the higher end of the range.. so decent odds of less than 16 years, even for the higher end of the range.

You better get planning soontm, Biodom, even with your having had taken a relatively whimpy approach to BTC with your 2015 lump summening, it is likely going to pay off quite well for uie pooie, even with your having had held back to ONLY exposing ur lil selfie with the accumulation of a mere 20 BTC.  #nohomo

By the way... we can also see that a variety of approaches to BTC have historically worked.. and yeah.. lump summing in upon a dip and just holding could work out quite well, so don't really want to be disparaging that as much as I have already made some reasonable arguments to show that supplementing a lump sum investing approach with even a pretty modest DCA can double that 20BTC without a whole hell of a lot of extra costs.. .. but yeah.. these days either 20 BTC or 40 BTC seem pretty well....

These days.. normie newbies are going to be looking at possible goals of 0.21BTC or maybe doubling it to 0.42 BTC after investing for 8 years...... and of course, individual circumstances are going to vary, so should not even be poo pooing anyone who might have been able to accumulate and HODL onto 20 BTC for 8 years or so... but each of us should be attempting to be realistic in our own circumstance, and if I was entering as a normie newbie I would strive for investing into BTC at at least $100 per week, and lump summing if I could... and hope at some point I might be able to get to 0.21 BTC and then shoot for other higher goals thereafter.. once I reached the initial goal.

Soo many good posts, I'm unfortunately out of merits, so, all of you, have some WOs merits.

Thanks.. you are so kind.

(I am translating from the sensible fahrenheit to the non weather sensible celcius for you Europeans and lovely brave Canadians (HONK), although I agree the US are cavemen as far as the metric system goes F is just better for weather, while C is great for science or cooking.. anyway never mind that).

Given the rest of the content of your post, the science of when water freezes might be considered fairly relevant. In truth, both are arbitrary and fine

I am poking the bear with that.  But I do also mean it...  As I said C is better for science (and cooking which IS science really) for sure.  0=freezing 100=boiling.

But 0-100 in F represents a (less exact) useful range of general temperatures for the outside environment with better granularity in between at the unit. 0=cold as hell and 100=Texas.  with 60-80 being a nice 20 point comfort zone.  But you only get about half the whole number granularity with the "science numbers".

If we can only have one scale its Celsius all day long, obviously... but the good old fahrenheit still has a place, I think.

Fun fact, When Anders Celsius first invented the scale it was 100 for freezing and 0 for boiling, it was later inverted.
Pro tip, use half scales, ie 21,5 C for more granularity.

Didn't know about the inverted Celsius scale, thanks.

IMHO, the absolute worst are the imperial units of length and weight. Surely, whoever invented those was into BDSM.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Damn figured that first "sardines" one out a split second before it unfolded.

Man I felt like puking there at the end when it dawned on my why he smelled.

Gross but good episode!

Shrunk the spoiler down so don't read it if your going to watch and haven't seen it.
