Still on the season of celebration happy Boxing day, Boxing Day is a holiday celebrated after Christmas Day, Boxing Day, is always celebrated on the 26 of December, it was originated in the United Kingdom(UK) during the 19th century. This boxing day was traditionally a day when wealthy households gave boxes of gifts, money, or food to their servants and employees as a token of appreciation for their service throughout the year.

Beware: A few important 'things' coming by Jan 1-Jan 13...relevant to US only, sorry.
1. New rules for bitcoin (and other tokens, unnamed) coming to US by Jan 1, 2025.

Of course, nothing to worry about if you don't sell. Stable coin tx of less than 10K/year are excluded from reporting, interestingly. Not sure if per broker or total.
In short...there is a safe harbor for you to identify and record ALL your purchase cost basis, so you can later identify what exactly you are selling (if using coinbase). No need to do it, obviously, for something you bought on a CEX and kept there. This needs to be done BEFORE you sell as Coinbase/Gemini/Kraken (just a few examples) would not do it for you (your cost basis) if you did not buy bitcoin there.
2. For business owners, watch the developments of the BOI appeal.

But If I have 50 million people paying me to protect their health and I refject 30% of the first claims put in which is 2x the the industry norm I am actively killing people.
Look the size of the company up it is usa biggest with 50 million customer.

In my area, the health/social/pension insurance gets your claims dropped mostly always. It's in the numbers. Only 50% of clients go to court, almost 90% of those are winning. If you're not fully disabled and under age 55, you undergo the insurance plausibility investigation every two years, and they reject your claim again every 2nd or third time. I'm partly disabled and a little younger than 55, so for me it's the rinse and repeat game.
In my case, i'm actually going through my fourth trial, since 14 months, 13 years after the initial claim. They lose every time, but they don't care. They count on me not making it to court within the 2 months deadline, or no more willing to battle their stupid rejections. In the end it's their customers who are financing these stupid trials.
Sometimes i wonder why nobody got shot for this, yet.

We (wrongly1) have no right of self-defense in Canada let alone the right to defense of others. I mean one could argue it was in self-defense but the "actively killing people" is a stretch. Perhaps if he was directly related to one of those who died from an obvious denial of life-saving medical services, he might get off on a lesser charge but it sounds like this guy (wrongly1) believed he was righting society in general. No sane person is going to let someone away with tracking, hunting and killing another human... I mean that comes under the purview of gov't and the various 3-letter agencies.

I've been using the mug on the left every morning (and some afternoons) for over 20 years (this may be why I was able to HODL some sats for so long and not that I would wish it on my worst enemy but you should see my underwear) and I knew the mug was looking worn but damn! Viva la difference. I don't know where Santa found it! From this day forward, it's hand-wash only for my go-to coffee mug - and my drawers.

I have a couple of cups that i like, but only one that i love. I forbid my wife to put it in the dishwasher, and i clean it by hand, using moderately hot water, quite a dozen times or more, until i use the soft side of a kitchen sponge and a little bit of drinking bottle cleaning fluid. I try to keep it in the closet as much as possible, and it looks almost like new (especially outside) after 16 years.

What are the fun things you are doing or did today being Christmas 🎄
For me i told everyone to rest so I can cook for them and do the house chores it was stressful but when will started eating and gisting it was worth it we talked about our past fun moment and it really made me laugh out loud.
This is one of my best Christmas season.
