Yeah, sometimes it just sucks. I've had relationships with girlfriends end badly. but I would usually put the letters, pictures, and memories in a box to protect them from the hell that would follow. But in one case, with Kristen, I burned all the letters, deleted the emails, and destroyed every picture, item, and memory in order to remove every scrap of evidence she had been in my life.
Now, years later there is literally an empty hole in my life about 2 years long. And the very few bits and scraps that survived are like ashes on the wind, reminding me of good times I will never remember and good feelings that are gone forever. Like a blasted out crater in a field of flowers.
I vowed to never do that again. And I never will. Hopefully Bob keeps some memories of this place, otherwise years later he may be looking into a similar crater and wondering just what the fuck happened.
End of line.

Just wanted to say I'm sorry to see Bob go, if he finally goes. Not every WOer has top chemistry with every other WOer, but Bob was/is a strong voice in the thread, as are many others.

Definitely gonna miss Bawb (#nohomo) he's a legendary hodler and bitcoin bull. Most of the noobs who show up here are bearish for some reason so we need each and every bull to support us.
Well I'm a n(b)oob here, mostly reading and I'm not bearish to be honest. Most people that are bearish are people who hunt for fiat in the end, those who are in this for BTC and their own independence are focused on long term, as that does not happen overnight, are bullish and happy with the way things are developing.

most of us in the corn are fiercely independent. its part of why bitcoin was created (IMO) we all can independently verify and control our wealth. thats a big part of freedom.
i am personally sad Bob has decided to leave. while we all can speculate, his reasons are his and his alone. perhaps he will come back. perhaps he will give us more detailed reasons. but whatever he does i respect that and will not speculate.
