Certainly vulnerable, most cryptocurrency users use hot wallet or online wallet as their daily wallet. The use of this wallet is very vulnerable to hacking or phishing, especially people who store large amounts of money. The hackers will be interested in hacking. It's safe to save and copy private keys that only you who knows or if you have a lot of money try to save them in the cold wallet.

Better to start saving your coins in a cold wallet. If you have large amounts of coins, then you better transfer it to your cold wallet. The best cold wallet to have is trezor. My partner and I are thinking of buying trezor and start putting our coins there. Hackers are everywhere, it's not safe if you save your coins in an online wallet like MEW.

It is possible to hack a wallet if there is a website that has been hacked or if someone gives you a hack link so be careful with clicking links because there are hackers who provide a link to access your wallet.

It is absolutely possible and that’s what we have seen so many times, which is why using of Crypto Hardware Wallets are so important, as it is something that could secure.

Although, I feel we too have to be extremely wise with using of Crypto wallets, as far too often we leak out details, and eventually that leads into type of results of hacking or something on these lines. So that is something must to be mindful of to stay save.

It is possible mostly with phishing, sometimes with malware. But right now you can't hack any major crypto wallets with only knowing the exchange. If it was possible, satoshi's stash would be long gone.

It is possible to hack wallets. There was recently a hack of the official Komodo wallet. If the wallet you are using has been hacked, you can't do anything to protect it.
But you still have to trust thoses wallet as they are the only way to interact with the blockchain. You have to pray that the software you are using has not been hacked.
And that the OS, web browsers and softwares are not hacked too.

Yeah. It's hard but there is a chance that it's possible. Most of the time people get hacked for their stupidity. Mostly hacker used something called pishing. In this process they created a site or something that looks like a trusted site and people upload their key or to that space. So hackers got the access to the wallet. If people are being careful their will be less hacks. And always use trusted sites. Avoid online web wallets and if it's possible then go for some hardware wallet. It is always safer to use a hardware wallet.

So far I have never experienced bad things like hacking my wallet, even I saved my assets in a web wallet. so I think hacking a web wallet is impossible unless the user is not careful or careless in using a web wallet.

I remember a wallet that had a bug. While you recovering your wallet passphrase you had to write the words and that wallet was sending the request to Google to verify the word for errors.

It depends on the kind of wallet you chose. There are some wallets provider that can be trusted . Trust Wallets is a good example of secured wallet. Your wallet Key are not stored anywhere , your security is left in your hand. The Only situation i feel some good wallets can be hacked is through phishing. If you mistakenly enter your wallet Key in wrong website or wrong platform . It can leads to your wallet been  intruded.

Any application that uses the internet is susceptible to hacking. Even binance that boasts of top level security was recently hacked. Just make sure you don't save all funds in a single wallet in order not to lose all your funds at a go

Yes, all wallets are vulnerable to attack and no wallet provider can boost of its security against hack. The so called Hardware wallet is not even 100% safe because hackers are always at work and they can hack any wallet at any time.
But hackers can't always hack into any wallet, if they were 100% vulnerable, they would have been hacked into

It seems to me that everything is possible now.  because the technologies have reached the level that on the Internet you can find any program or program code that can be used for hacking. Of course, this is not for everyone
