They'd call ceasefire when they gain control of cryptos.
They'd shift grounds when you pay them taxes.
They'd give you room to play when you need licenses and permits from them to get involved in cryptos

Your government want your money.
Yeah that's the key. actually the root of the problem from the government's ban on bitcoin is about finance right? because the government is afraid of many people hiding their income and not paying taxes and allowing huge losses to the government? the government just wants your money. if you want freedom to use bitcoin then you should be prepared with taxes

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

Most likely they think that Bitcoin is a threat to the country that they are afraid because crypto is decentralize specially that the transaction is difficult to trace in which they are afraid that it might be use in illegal activities like money laundering, smuggling and fraud investments. Fear is the main reason but to think that this fear can be overcome if they will just regulate it well this investment.

There are always pro nd contra of course the government so far hasn't been able to how to count the tax collection of crypto. That's one reason crypto continues to be rejected. Not only that to stop crypto steps a lot of speculation is raised. But it doesn't decrease the intention of new investors to come.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

They can start a way but they will never win just like drugs that they can remove in their own country, cryptocurrency is helping the lives of different people so they will not be able to stop people because it was a good thing for everyone.
Thats true. the government can do anything to prohibit the use of bitcoins such as creating rules and laws for cryptocurreny. but you know that bitcoin transactions can be used undercover. although the government forbid bitcoin. it will not make bitccoin die. users still easily make anonymous transactions
Even if a government forbids something it is very difficult to catch people doing it, people can take a lot of measures to mask their bitcoin usage and unless it is forbidden all over the world they will always find a way to circumvent the laws, if governments cannot stop piracy over the internet they will not be able to stop cryptocurrencies at all.
there is always a way to Rome, maybe that's a good proverb. besides that i think technological development can not be prevented, then later the government will allow it also and make regulation of cryptoworlds

The government won't accept why they can't control or gain from. The government as a whole is made up of human beings who makes decisions for their people and if the government of that country says no then it's no. Bitcoin will not give them access to people's account, again it will be difficult to collect tax and monitor transactions since it's a personal thing.

Your government want your money.
The main thing any government wants is the complete control over their population and this market could interfere in their political and economical system and so is the reason some countries are against these sort of development and they see it as a parallel economy and used for illegal activities but the truth are far from it.

I think most countries are neutral on the attitude of bitcoin, and the government is worried about bitcoin's destruction of the existing economic order, but it also knows the obvious benefits of encryption. Maybe let everyone accept bitcoin needs our community to continue to work hard.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?
I think that the most important reason is that goverments can't "earn" anything by doing so and taking profit from it hasn't got any taxes in most of the countries so it will be easier to ban them than to change law for them.

most of government are trying to understand how cryptocurrency work in the positive environment and collect taxes sooner or later they may regulate crypto currencies

I think it will not happen. They can only place taxes in the purpose of easier transactions.
I agree. The government wants to impose a tax on every transaction from crypto to fiat currency. Without taxes it is illegal for them.
As they begin to impose taxes, banks will surely fear that crypto will eventually replace fiat currencies.

The Governments of certain countries are declaring war against crypto currencies as they do not have any authority over the bitcoin and block chain technology as the network is a decentralized network and they fear that due to high anonymity of the bitcoins users the Governments will not be able to earn from the bitcoin network as tax, secondly the Governments and the Central banking system see this bitcoins and other crypto currency as a disruptive technology which has brought a tremendous change in the outlook of the financial industry.

I don't see as war against bitcoin but an advert in favour of bitcoin and crypto currency at large and you can see in recent time that many of those countries in question are now trying to regulate crypto currency at a close look at the benefit inherent in crypto currency.

Surely a country that opposes the existence of bitcoin is worried if the majority of the population is more utilizing digital currency as a means of transaction so to anticipate the occurrence of such incidents the country as soon as possible want to destroy the world of cryptocurrency and not until experiencing developments in countries that deny its existence.

They are most likely ignorant or does not know anything much about cryptocurrencies or they feel threatened of these cryptocurrencies and they can't do anything about it yet because it is not legalized nor regulated yet.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

Governments don’t understand Bitcoin and want to control it. It is true that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be disruptive to banking as we know it. This makes them want to hold Bitcoin back. Governments also want to make sure they get their taxes from us as well.

Absolutely true mate. Government will not banned or make bitcoin illegal as long as they can collect taxes from it. Mostly the reason behind the illegality of bitcoin declared by the government is because they are having a hard time to trace every bitcoin transactions and to how they can collect taxes from the holders not unless the holders itself converted their bitcoins into fiat. But as long as it remains cryptocurrency in the wallet it is decentralised and controlled by the owners itself only.
