In my opinion it is scam, they have opened a thread in this forum: https://satoshigames.io/threads/luckyfish-io-announces-its-closure.19/

Scam or not that is not the issue here ,because the topic is about the closure and they are letting the players know so they can withdraw their funds before the final date, and this is not how the scammers do.
instead the site will automatically closed without notice to the general public so their funds will remain inside the casino.
but this action from luckyfish does not reflect to what you are claiming here.

Not everything is black and white like you make it seem.

Not stealing everyone's money all at once does not erase previous shady behavior.
yeah i guess you are completely correct , it did not cross my mind when posting since i am not one of the victim (if there is really one) as i have withdrawn my funds.

but those will serve as warning to anyone who wants to play or deal with this team here or in the other gambling site they will promote.
Hopefully, this news can help awareness the other gamblers who forgot their account on that site and still keep some balance on their account to withdraw the money immediately before they are late doing that. Besides announcing to close the site on their website, they should announce it here so we can know what we need to do. Maybe luckyfish.io can give a chance to members to withdraw their money so there will be no problem for both sides and they can officially tell the public that they are closing their website.

I just checked their website http://luckyfish.io/ and I saw the statement that they are going to stop deposits after 30th November. It doesn't mean they necessarily closing the business permanently though. Maybe they are going through some kind of maintenance. Why are they closing? Do you have any further information about their issues? Maybe it is a legal problem which they don't want to disclose.
According to the email I think luckyfish is permanently closing down, thanks for informing the forum on this I received their email a week ago and have withdrawn my funds from lucky fish the deadline is over already. Which is the 30th of November.
since the site already come to closure then i think there is no need to further more this discussion as obviously there are claims about getting their funds legitimately so it is the end of conversation .
I recommend the mods should lock the thread if OP is not aware of the final closure.
congrats to all who get their funds our and sorry for those who does now.

Sounds correct , but now that they are already closed i guess none of the issues will be open back again .

Exactly, even in this forum various platforms have been defended that have been in charge of carrying out bad practices and scams with the power they have, even various users who have rank in this forum have participated or are complicit with them. Luckyfish has not only scammed but they have also indicated that they have a legal gaming license and they are not, tell me, is this not a sufficient reason to conclude that luckyfish is a scam? basically the law has been broken. However, the same owners have indicated that they would return in 2-3 months, hopefully if they are right or if they return to give the final blow or to do things right ...

Pretty shitty site in general, I'm impressed they didn't exit scam tbh.
~snip~

Yes, I agree. They were sketchy right from the start. I see they had an ANN topic here from a couple of years ago but they later deleted it because one member called them out for false claims that they were Curaco licensed.

This website falsely claims to be a member of the crypto gambling foundation and has a Curaçao license posted that doesn't resolve to anywhere. In your other thread you mentioned the wrong website in your T&C, you use stake's icons and several of our custom design elements. Have completely ripped off duckdice & others, this joke of a copy paste website was not even briefly looked over before release and I would not trust my funds here.

^ Definitely right and I am heard a lot about different issues and now I am surprised they announced about their shutting down. Probably because they also announced that they had a plan to run another gambling business or whatever it is, they will still bring the name of this casino as a reference to their new one. Hopefully, everyone can get their balance, or probably they saw that the total balance that left on their casino is not worth it to run away.

Not sure I'm buying the argument that they closed because of third party contracts.  They only added most of the third party slots in the last 6 months or so, and they have the suite of self hosted games that definitely get action.

So it was a temporary break just like I suspected. That's the thing when you depend on a third party software provider. Look at freebitco.in, the owner coded this website from nothing and he knows every part of it. Someone told me this long time ago:

"When you own a business you need to be able to fix everything there is. You need to be able to do whatever needs to be done."

This is like owning a restaurant. When the cleaner guy quits, you need to be able to clean the toilets because your chef won't do that crap. When your main chef gets sick, you need to be able to cook. When you are short on serving staff, you need to be able to serve. That's how it is like to own a business.

I guess it's okay to hire someone to build what you have in mind, but having an idea of the business and build it with yourself is much better as it will save you much money.

For this issue, I guess the software they're using is somewhat a subscription model and got a problem with the team of the software they're using since it mentioned "to terminate their contract" (speculations), but that is common problem in subscription model software in the long run.
What they need is to hire a developer to build their own software which I guess that's what they're going to do now on that 2-3 months of hiatus.

There are certain types of businesses that the owner needs to know everything to not depend on employees (third parties), in the case of a casino or exchange or even a website, it is highly recommended that the owner know program computer and be able to correct it when there is a problem, because if he doesn't know the code he will become a hostage to others, this is also the case in the restaurant or bank business. finally there are many businesses that the owner needs to know everything to not be dependent
Agreed, there are business in which you can delegate a great deal of the responsibility to your employees or to a third party, but there are other businesses in which the owner needs to know exactly what is happening with their business and if this is not the case it is unlikely the business will succeed.

One field in which this is common is Cybersecurity, after all if the CEO or owner does not know how his employees are securing the data of their clients then there is a high chance some malicious code is inserted somewhere and no one will ever detect it, defeating the whole purpose of a company dedicated to Cybersecurity.

Why do you think this is a scam? After all, they informed all players by e-mail that they were closing only temporarily. Everyone can withdraw their money. In my opinion, this is a sign of honesty and not an attempt of any cheating.
Don't trust account that will just post without any concrete evidence  and also checking His trust page you can assess if he is telling the truth or not.

After a while I realized that it must be a troll or someone who wants to damage good opinion of luckyfish.io
Everyone can see that luckyfish behave honestly and informed its users on time about all changes. There are no issues with withdrawals and this is best way to build trust of the casino.
I hope the update will be without problems as well.

Yeah and try next time to check the account trust history first before engaging in conversation because most of them are proven to be either shill, FUD or scammer.

anyway this thread has already serve its purpose and i am hoping that everyone will take their funds before the closure and wait for the re opening of the team in their new site and serve the people of bitcointalk in more legit and trustworthy way.

If you think this is a scam and you have enough evidence then you can open a scam accusation. It will not do any good to make such comments without taking proper action. Because before they close their website, inform their customers to withdraw the funds, and it seems that the players are withdrawing their funds. So if you post information with proof, then it will be beneficial for everyone and if you say scam without any proof then it is not acceptable.

When your main chef gets sick, you need to be able to cook. When you are short on serving staff, you need to be able to serve. That's how it is like to own a business.

That is the way it should be, after all we know that starting up a business is very expensive and if you can save someone money here and there at the beginning you should do it as it will give your business a better chance to become profitable over the long term.

So at the beginning it could have made sense for this casino to use a third party provider, but since this is a great deal of what the casino offers to their clients then this means that whatever idea you may have for new games is not going to be implemented, and if there is some downtime on the service you are using to get your games then there is nothing for you to do but to wait until they fix the issue on their side, so a much better solution is to implement your own games, this way if something goes wrong or you have new innovative ideas you can do something about it immediately.
