Most probably because of the unsold issues about this site that hurt their reputation and yeah many the regulations as well. They still not release a statement with this one, the deposit will be stop and the withdrawal will be open until all the players got their funds hopefully no more problems on withdrawing your money.

If they have a plan to come back and they want to come back with open arms they better not think of stopping the withdrawal or delaying it if there are issues on withdrawals they will have a hard time coming back, I guess by now majority of members knows this issue because I'm sure they will send a notification or a newsletter to member's email, we'll wait for the news of their comeback.

I just checked their website http://luckyfish.io/ and I saw the statement that they are going to stop deposits after 30th November. It doesn't mean they necessarily closing the business permanently though. Maybe they are going through some kind of maintenance. Why are they closing? Do you have any further information about their issues? Maybe it is a legal problem which they don't want to disclose.

as long they wont really be releasing any announcement regarding on this then we would really be just ending up on having these speculation
but those possible reasons could neither on those things been mentioned above neither on some issues or regulatory or simply not really
feasible at all thats why they had these kind of stop or pause but who knows if this is already the end.

Just a friendly notice that i just seen luckyfish.io is closing soon, so if u have any funds there , withdraw ASAP

PS : i have no connection with luckyfish.io, just a regular gambler / member
I tried playing on this site before and upon checking no more funds left on my account, why are they closing do they have specific reason for this? Or they are just closing because of many incidents and accusations on their site? This is very unfortunate and another mismanaged casino, hopefully they can comeback with a new great project and a great services this time.

I'm sure, their decision to close the site, most likely there are no customers, it's useless if the site is active if there are no customers, it's only natural that they close.
I'm not trying to defend luckyfish, but your assumption that they have no customers is not true.
They have many active players, I know about this because I play there several times  and there are always many players who are actively betting as well as chatting.
Fully agree with the statement of ‘panjul07’. My gambling experience is same like him at this casino. I have made 60+ deposits and 50+ withdrawals without any difficulties. They had thousands of active players everyday. There was various reasons for having so much active users like that. You can simply have the idea about user activity of the casino by their Alexa rank. Currently they are staying around 5.8k rank. Maybe they are closing for the reason which is showing as warning message on their site. There could be other reason too. But I'm sure that it isn't connected with user inactivity.

Coming up to the scam accusations against them, I have no idea whether they are legit accusation or not.
I'm saying based on my own experience in this site and I did not experienced any issue on deposit and withdrawal.
Good thing here is that they inform their players about the temporary shut down and they give chance to their players to withdraw the balance.

Maybe you're right, anyone who bets on the luckyfish.io site, immediately withdraws their funds, but I'm not sure, maybe their funds have disappeared before making a withdrawal.

As far as I know gambling site luckyfish.io, there are warnings and allegations of fraud on this forum.
Example:
Topic: Another site caught not being "provably fair" Luckyfish.io
Topic: Luckyfish.io Scam

Only ordinary people, who do not read and see, of course who have funds on the Luckyfish.io site, and even then if they are not taken.

I'm sure, their decision to close the site, most likely there are no customers, it's useless if the site is active if there are no customers, it's only natural that they close.

Thanks op for the heads up.Yes, it's the same website. They have few other open accusation thread against them that haven't been resolved.
I noticed that it's no longer possible to register new accounts with them.
Anyway, even if they are going to resume their services after few months (as announced) I strongly advice everyone to withdraw all their remaining balances asap.

I guess members already know it before you posted it here and there's no need to warn the community since they have a valid reason why they stopped depositing, and I don't think there will be issues on withdrawal since they stated on their homepage that withdrawal is available anytime,
let's see if there's no complaint in the withdrawal during that period.

Thanks for the info. I was curious if they have an ANN thread here in the forum maybe they could give statement why they are closing?
Didn't see it upon searching google, only the scam/problem related threads only shows in google. As for your other questions, someone quoted the whole email he received from their announcement which I quoted as well.
Like most other casino, LuckyFish had also started their journey by making an announcement thread in this forum. But they had to clean and delete their ANN thread for some reason. Probably the issue was related to their license. See the first (delete) & second (delete) ANN thread of them. Despite the fact they got pretty good success as a crypto gambling site.

LuckyFish showing this warning message on their site since 23rd November. I was thinking to share it here, but I changed my mind as they don't have any active ANN thread in this forum. However, I think lots of forum members still play there.  I was a regular player of this casino too. @OP, Thanks for the heads-up.

So it was a temporary break just like I suspected. That's the thing when you depend on a third party software provider. Look at freebitco.in, the owner coded this website from nothing and he knows every part of it. Someone told me this long time ago:

"When you own a business you need to be able to fix everything there is. You need to be able to do whatever needs to be done."

This is like owning a restaurant. When the cleaner guy quits, you need to be able to clean the toilets because your chef won't do that crap. When your main chef gets sick, you need to be able to cook. When you are short on serving staff, you need to be able to serve. That's how it is like to own a business.

I guess it's okay to hire someone to build what you have in mind, but having an idea of the business and build it with yourself is much better as it will save you much money.

For this issue, I guess the software they're using is somewhat a subscription model and got a problem with the team of the software they're using since it mentioned "to terminate their contract" (speculations), but that is common problem in subscription model software in the long run.
What they need is to hire a developer to build their own software which I guess that's what they're going to do now on that 2-3 months of hiatus.

Here's the quoted text from their email announcement, mentioned above. And probably not a legal-related issue (not so sure though, it might be or not).

Just like what mindtrust said the closing could have different reason and not permanently but probably temporarily maybe because they might have some maintenance or processing any kind of legal things about their website or other more but I think we should hear it personally from them if it is permanently closed or temporary.

If luckyfish.io is closing to come back again, then that's nice and most gamblers that are using luckyfish.io would be much happy for the early announcement. My advise is for gamblers to withdraw their funds and awaiting their relaunching cause many similar site had in this pattern closed their gambling site and never come back again incurring loses to gamblers who had funds and are optimistic about their reopening.

Is this site that mentioned in this banning issue?  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/luckyfish-banning-unnecessarily-for-whatever-reason-5315282

now they are closing?

I also try to look if they have AMM Thread here but looks like none.

Anyway thanks  for the heads up , hope others may take their funds before the given time.

I have an account at luckyfish but I'm not active player there. I did once deposit and withdraw long time ago. Today I checked my email and I found about the announcement of the closing that they sent 2 days ago as quoted below:

Based on this email, we know that it will not be a complete closing as they will come back with their own software within 2-3 months. Although they say that balance and everything related to the account will stay the same when they do the relaunch, I believe it is better to withdraw the remaining balance first.
