The Grizzlies had the refs and they still lost...

I think that the Warriors just simply have way more starpower and experience than the Grizzlies. It is extremely difficult to see them coming out of the West even if they do get a game or two on the Warriors.

They will fight hard, yes, but I think the combination of Curry, Draymond and Klay is just too much for them.

Hopefully the refs are consistent for the series and heavily favour homecourt team by calling all 50-50 calls one way and clearly placing away team in early foul trouble while  letting hometeam get away with clear fouls on the defensive end.
Warriors lose today, and Grizzlies tied the series I can say refs are great today its just that Warriors players are just having a bad time especially with Klay, I guess this is one of his worst game for this series. Well, this is becoming a much exciting series and probably a long series for this two teams. Let's see on the next game, if more players will get involve and play the semis.

As long as the books are giving the Grizzlies points at home I'm taking them.  Golden state looked slow tonight.  Unfortunate play in the beginning from brooks, he had to get ejected that was a bad foul.

Ja: 47 points.  He's a bad dude.  GS could do nothing to stop him all night.

Guess the Grizzlies are gonna be like 5 point underdogs or something at golden state.  Gimme the Grizzlies all series here.  They are younger, faster and hungrier.  They might not win but they will keep the game air tight if they lose.

Has nobody seen Memphis play all year?  Desmond Bane is ridiculously good.  Dillon brooks lights it up, the team is deep and they dominated during the regular season.  Everyone talking like they would be lucky to win a game here l.  They won 3 out of the 4 games in the regular season against the Warriors.  Not saying they are gonna steam roll the Warriors but people talking like they suck or something lol.

Ja Morant vs Warriors. That will not give them a win, though he was scoring well in game 1 compared to the series he had in the 1st round, but what matter is the outcome of the game, and the Warriors IMO will play better in game 2 because Draymond Green is going to play full game.

Agree, the ejection of Draymond Green was really the cause why game 1 was a close game IMO. The Grizzlies need a perfect game to beat the Warriors, which means that at least Morant has to score 20+ points and Jackson needs to repeat his performance in game1 but that I doubt he can as Draymond will be there to guard him all night long.

Haven't placed a bet yet in the matches but I think this round 2 will still be for the Warriors. I think the Grizzly needs to win in this match they were keep the scores close and give them a boost because Draymond ejected on the second quarter but warriors still managed to win the game. I think I will bet in Warriors for their second matchup.

Yeah my plan is to throw a couple bucks on the Golden State Warriors even though the Memphis Grizzlies are the home court team. The Warriors are only favored by -1.5 pts on my gambling site which I’m glad, as that’s not much of a spread to have to over come. Might be a bit of a trap game in Vegases eyes, but I’m still confident the Warriors will take this one down. Some great experience for Ja Morant however. That guy is unbelievable.

So let's discuss the series of the number 2 and 3 in the West.

Warriors vs Memphis.

Who's gonna win the series?

I can't really make a wild guess here, for now, even just a simple speculation or prediction, as referring to Game 1, the game is really close, and guessing the winner during the Live game is really hard and tough. We don't even have a clear winner in a few seconds remaining of the game as lots of chances for both teams to win the game.

We should wait for Game 2 and check if either of the team won't able to hang on. I want to see that close game ending again until the few seconds remaining.

Aside from that, should be no call controversies or related stuff.

Game 2 is a must-win by the Memphis? although I believe that they should win but I also believe that the Warriors are capable of beating them twice on their home court. It's still fresh for the Warriors what the Memphis did to them in the play-in and JA is trash talking, so I think the Warriors are very motivated on winning every game.

The Warriors are on fire this season. I believe that!
Ja Morant is a good young talent, but his ego is just too much.
Someone will have to humble him down or atleast a team would eradicate his ego.
He really feels like someone who did really something significant in the NBA, I mean he's not even close to Tmac who's career was ruined because of an awful injury and that guy didn't even have to brag or disrespect someone.

I don't know but one thing that satisfies my NBA feels this playoffs is for the GSW to sweep the Memphis Grizzlies.

Grizzlies had their chance, Draymond Green was ejected but they couldn't win the game. So no way, Green will be ejected twice, the Warriors defense will get better and the ball rotation as well. Good luck, same side here.

Obviously, it will be a must win for them, they don't want to go down and be on the road with 0-2 deficit against the Warriors.

But I guess if Ja Morant will continue to trash talk and thinks that he is un-guardable, then maybe it will be his fault if the Warriors are going to teach him a lesson and be humble. It will be a close game though, hard to predict who will win but again, they shouldn't allow themselves to dig a deeper hole in this series.

By the way, Bane is questionable in game 2.

https://dknation.draftkings.com/2022/5/2/23054311/desmond-bane-injury-updates-warriors-vs-grizzlies-nba-dfs-fantasy-basketball-melton-jones-brooks

But this guy is going pretty good in the 1st round and he was very limited in game 2.
What was the staretegy of the Warriors did to him, are the Warriors really an elite team compared to the Timberwolves that Memphis can easily beat even if they are up with a huge margin?

Golden State Warriors almost lose the game as Klay Thompson missed those clutch free throws. However, on the other hand, Memphis Grizzlies didn't manage to take advantage of that missed clutch shots until the last seconds which result in a rush play of Ja Morant driving to the hoop.

The bottom line, both teams did a good job. What a close game and I don't consider the ejection of Draymond Green as a disadvantage to the Warriors or a benefit to the Memphis Grizzlies.

I'm looking forward to the same performance by both teams next game. Seeing the Game 1 result, I'm sure lots of bettors are having a headache right now on what betting options they will pick next game regardless if they are fans of both teams or not.

Yes, that call got the attention of everybody, and yup it benefited the Grizzlies as Jaren Jackson wreck havoc in the 3's which I don't think would happen if Draymond Green was there and defended him.

IMO, the Warriors will adjust in game 2 and that game would be a blowout for the Warriors so no hard time thinking for me on which team to bet, Grizzlies is a young team but they will learn a lot in this series.

GSW took game 1 without Draymond in the 2nd half. This could be an exciting series, but I hope Memphis will get swept by the Warriors to humble down Ja's ego.
Though Memphis had like leading the whole game, but losses the showdown down the stretch. Morant thinks he can't be stopped lol.
Hate to watch a player you literally like because he's got a very bright future, but starting to act like he owned and dominates the NBA.

Most probably its just their way to hyped their self and have a great game but in case of Morant, looks like he goes beyond his limit and the result is really not good. I saw a lot of bad calls as well against GSW and I’m doubting already if they can get the win but they prove that they can and it was a close one. GSW will surely have a good confidence going into the next game, they will likely take this series.

Now that the 1st round series is officially over.

The game of the Grizzliess vs Timberwolves almost went to game 7, but just like the past games, Memphis are so strong in the 4th quarter and they beat the Wolves again.

So let's discuss the series of the number 2 and 3 in the West.

Warriors vs Memphis.

Who's gonna win the series?

(I'll update the series odds once it's listed)

It is very obvious in my case, I am a warrior fan and I would be betting on them till the very end. I believe in Curry and Thompson domination, before the games started I have always followed their games, hope they would get the Championship this season.
