Any future update sir? My favourite coin waves I hold 80% of money with waves.

What is that 80% holdings if you don't know how to track the activity of the team. Social media is the best choice to keep eye on it. I also have good hope from this project because this have big size of community and a lot of interesting plan to make it more promising.

There is action on both Discord and Slack. You are safe for not losing out on anything and enough updates on what is going by following the Waves Discord and Slack channels as well as this thread.

It is of great concern that gateways can be shut down with ease by waves team.

Users will be locked in with funds, unable to withdraw.

Coinomat interference means that funds can be confiscated arbitrarily when deposited or withdrawn, as they pass a third party wallet before approval.

You can still access your funds. You just need to use waves to withdraw from the DEX and you can convert to btc ltc or any other coin using outside exchanges like tidex hitbtc binance or many others

It is my understanding then, that waves itself cannot be placed into maintence, only external coins.

Voting for changing block rewards every 100,000 blocks. And in days this is about how much it turns out? More than a month?

Hello bloogy. Yes, the established block reward will be valid for 100,000 blocks, which roughly corresponds to 69 days (based on approximately 1 block per minutes). And this article to get the more detailed information - https://blog.wavesplatform.com/waves-staking-policy-and-block-rewards-50a1de2fa2a0

I am interested in using Waves dex exchange,
but I wonder what advantages it has compared to other decentralized exchanges,
and what fees are charged for using Bitcoin for trading and withdrawing?
Hi notblox1. WavesDEX has fixed fee for internal trensfer - 0.001 Waves and 0.003 Waves per 1 order is trading fee. Speaking about external comission, you can get acquainted with the all conditions by reading this guide from our knowledgebase - https://docs.wavesplatform.com/en/waves-client/transfers-and-gateways/bitcoin-transfers.html

All this and WAVES still under 1$, C'mon whales its time to make WAVES fly to the moon.. $10 - $50 -$100 very easy
Almost all people know that these updates will not make WAVES fly to the moon. Every trader knows that this is not easy and this is not how the market works. Just be thankful that Waves are still doing their job in providing significant update to coin itself. There are a lot of other projects that got online at the same time with Waves and are now dead with no dev support nor any update. I'm just grateful that the money that I invested to Waves are well-secured because of the progress that it is taking.

The concern is that there is access to this function by team, it is like a centralized exchange then.

Is there some coin on this platform that cannot be placed into maintenance or controlled by third party?

What is the purpose of controlling private keys if user funds cannot be transferred from wallet without a third party approval such as coinomat.

I understand, technical things can happen so it appears that the support can always control access to this platform because they sometimes must fix techincal problems.

So if there is government instruction, this can be forcibly controlled.

Normally if there is a technical problem the update must be downloaded in a new wallet version, but in this case it can be hotfixed by support so there is centralized access to this platform in key areas of operation.

Hello. Currently, there's a maintenance ongoing on the gateways' side. Some technical issues occurred. See more in the official announcement https://support.wavesplatform.com/en/knowledge-bases/2/articles/35548-gateways-are-currently-shut-down-for-system-maintenance
Our apologies for the inconvenience caused.
