Didn't know Waves had its own exchange as well.. Which is interesting.......

Yes. Too much shilling and FUD on Bitcointalk Alts. Waves has one of the biggest and definitely fastest decentralised exchanges with a fantastic UI that is as good as centralised exchanges.
All shills on here are interested in is pumping slow, congested, expensive and forked stuff like ETH or non existant vapour like NEO.

This company is shit. Their approach to business is disgusting. Their decentralized exchange is not such. They can easily block any address.
So this is FUD. They can't block any addresses. The biggest nodes won't let them do that.

Waves Decentralised Exchange has rank 67 by total 24h vol more than $6 mill.

Full list:

Ethfinex - 65 ($7 mil)
Waves Decentralized Exchange - 67 ($6 mil)
IDEX - 91 ($2.3 mil)
CryptoBridge - 115 ($685k)
OasisDEX - 120 ($554k)
Stellar Decentralized Exchange - 141 ($135k)
OpenLedger DEX - 151 ($95k)
Radar Relay - 168 ($31k)
RuDEX - 182 ($6k)
BarterDEX - 197 ($10)

Bisq - outranked (vol $15k)

Waves DEX is a faster because of offchain matching service. And Waves Lite Wallet with DEX onboard which uses TradingView is the best GUI what I've seen

They can block. So it's not a decentralized exchange, but gggg So they need to write - "with elements of decentralization."

https://youtu.be/-LC5TTS5uck

A decentralized exchange means that anyone can trade. No one can restrict his access to trading. And if not, then it's, sorry, shit.
Oh, you mean blocking exchange operations. if you wanna write all garbage orders to the blockchain, use others slow DEX's. For now Waves DEX has no multiple matcher service. But it has High frequency trading ability like centralised exchanges. This is most important thing - safety and speed in same time.

Didn't know Waves had its own exchange as well.. Which is interesting, because I was doing research on it after hearing their development in smart contracts could overtake Ethereum. As a believer in ETH I had to check out the competition like EOS and NEO. WAVES looks like a newcomer with some potential.
You doing research without overview coin wallet. Interesting.

Guys, which wallet you guys are using for waves?

I'm still using google chrome app and leased all my waves coins. For a long time, I didn't sign in but recently noticed warning message saying that google chrome is closing this app so need to download from the site.

Is this online beta version is safe to use - https://wavesplatform.com/ ?
Hello. You can install our latest Beta client here: https://wavesplatform.com/product
We always recommend our users and newcomers to use Beta client as it is more handy and stable client at this moment. This is an absolutely safe place to keep your assets. You can just import your seed there start work.

Kind regards,
Waves Community Manager.

Waves will not be the next technological revolution to follow Ethereum, but it is a tool with the potential to be widely adopted by users

WAVE has always been a great project, competing with ETH and EOS.
So I hope it wins, even if it's not easy.

i agree waves is more beter than ether and eos we are faster and our fees very low and have fastest decetralized exchange but we must ask our self why most people are useing ethereum not waves we need good marketing team to spread waves and another ceo , sasha is very bad

I agree about that sasha was the real reason why waves is not growing a lot. It's surpassed by another platform just like EOS, ADA, and many more. if sasha will always in the team and this platform will die as fast as possible consider there will no demand interested to use the ecosystem. Waves die soon lol

@walker you are not logical, we dont live into stratosphere.

in the "real life" it cost money:
-to maintain a bank account
-to change between different fiats
-to make repeated tradings at high speed, practically instantaneous

and the decentralized way is not possible.

all that is realized at a low cost with waves.
could you propose a more interesting location for all this ?
are you addicted to more lunar appeals ?

the pos rate could be moved higher to create more interest in staking, also they could stop censoring devs from some of the best cryptos on waves platform. IT has great potential but if it is run as a club for the dev and his friends, then people will go where they are treated properly. The social media admins are the absolute worst and though its not a big deal, they are stopping people from finding out about great waves coins for petty reasons.

@Gizmo i think you need to evaluate the approach yourself if you want that.
Anyway, a scientific conference will never ever evaluate the proposal for bugs, they will just evaluate the scientific value of the proposal. So i would not imagine that we get practically relevant insides from the reviewing process.

Hi, have posted some text about recent issues: https://forum.wavesplatform.com/t/relase-0-13-x-issues-postmortem/908
> @Gizmo  We will not be voting feature 8 until it has been audited by a 3rd party
Do you mean audit for code or formula?
Gizmo - Last Thursday at 19:15
The formula mostly yes
hawky - Last Thursday at 20:23
@Gizmo The formula is basically the extension that was already suggested in the original analysis of the NXT algo. Really i don't see your problem with it.
Additionally, this is probably the best tested feature in testnet.

Gismo is from wavesnode.net

Yes, but, even if the general consensus is that he is misinformed or just being awkward for the sake of it, Waves Activation Protocol is a fair way to vote and nodes are entitled to excersise vote in any way they see fit.

If people don't like the way nodes vote they should vote with their leases and take them elsewhere.
True, but lessors are lazy and they don't care. I am sure that 50-70% not community active members. But the pools use their stakes in their own interests. Features like LPOS, which based on people's consciousness and prudence doesn't and will not work. This is one of the reason why "asset as a fee" was replaced by  "fee sponsorship".

Repeat again. Now Waves POS working on old NXT consensus algo which gives priority for big pools. It need to be updated to the new algo ASAP. Repairing the broken economy is a priority.
