By using waves can smart contracts be created, and is there an emphasis on blockchain technology?
Should have said, but there is some dirt on the CEO of Qtum, Stephen/Patrick Dai - he supposedly ran off with the money from a previous venture, and changed his first name to hide his past. But Qtum has numerous people on board, including angel investors and a billionaire, so it's NOT all about Dai!
Does the Waves Platform have a promising future? Is it a product which could compete alongside Ethereum?

As for Waves competing with Ethereum - Ethereum is huge! - and that's why I don't think it was smart to create a new language for Waves. Waves needs traction - a new language just creates a barrier to Waves adoption.
I am invested in waves for a Pretty Long time now. But i just do not understand why this coin has such a bad ranking at coinmarketcap, it has to be in the top 20
Sasha has said he's tired of Waves - that the corporate/government world and wealthy investors are more his cup of tea. He's dumped Waves, and Vostok is his new girlfriend! 
Waves is a very promising project built on an innovative blockchain platform. The prospect of this simple project is clear, I am sure it will succeed. I recommend buying some cards and hold them. I'm sure future prices will increase several times.

Very good price Waves 2.6 dollars. I have been investing in this problem for more than 6 months. I think the coin will be as a minimum full-fledged means of payment.
I care about the price with respect to bitcoin the currency of the future, not with respect to the dollar that will disappear in a few years.
This is the biggest advantage of Waves, the main reason why I like it. I hope that middle and small-sized businesses will use this function in order to complete some promotional campaigns. I have heard a lot of positive feedbacks about the competitor named Bitshares, but they are not working so much with a product.

well, i dont think anything will affect the waves price positively. it will recover a bit ofcourse when market trend changes. but waves project lost its hype a while ago. and there are so many good alternative projects launched during that time.
I have not stopped buying since 2016, and for the first time I doubt that at least I will recover what I invested and I will not buy more, other projects move very fast and I think waves without problems will fall to 0.00017 btc until We have the famous smart contracts in December. I know it's a solid project but there may also be several projects that are just as solid and waves become obsolete.
I really like the whole project of Waves, his team and the process of coin promotion. I always buy Waves when I have the money.

I am a fan of Waves. The platform has some good features already and still has a lot of room for growth. Hopefully, we see more developments soon.
I love waves, I have a wallet application on my personal computer, and one of the things I like in that mostly is that you can hold bitcoin and ethereum in one place.
