I tried to wear Bitcoin clothing way back in 2018 - 2019 together with my friends who know about Bitcoin.  I did not notice anyone looking at us with curiosity in mind.  Probably during those time, Bitcoin were not deeply propagated among the masses reason why the reaction of people was not the same as yours.

I do not think it brings any threat since such designs is normal especially when it is trending.  There are even stalls selling that kind of design, unless a person bragged that he has Bitcoin, I do not think that wearing such a design indicates that the person is holding BTC.
Back in 2018/2019 there already was a certain awareness about bitcoin but probably it was still possible to go unnoticed, at least in the majority of cases. Now things changed a lot, so again, maybe back then it wasn't a big deal, now I would suggest you to reconsider your ideas. As I said before anyway it mainly depends on where you live and the crime level of your country.

Has anyone ever tried wearing a Bitcoin clothing in public? I wore mine to an event earlier this week and noticed that most of the young age people were looking at it. One person even asked me if I owned a Bitcoin(which I've answered him ). It just popped into my mind that is it making myself vulnerable to bad people? We are aware that we should keep quiet if we own Bitcoin because of the risk that someone will hurt us or target us so that they could get our Bitcoin.

Wearing bitcoin logo does not guarantee that you're actually into bitcoin investment, as some are only riding the hype and just want to wear something that will make them noticeable and at the same time comfortable. There's actually no wrong with that if you look at the positive side, but I guess every individual has different mindset when it comes to bitcoin. Some sees it as a threat especially in countries where bitcoin is known as an expensive investment.

But its a different case if you wear it in provinces as most of the people do not even know what is bitcoin and if its even valuable or not. So for me, wearing bitcoin logo remains safe as long as you don't use it in public areas where different kinds of people may see you and make you as a target for those scammers.

I don't own any bitcoin clothes and I don't think I'll ever buy some, there could be too man stupid risks involved doing something like that: maybe you own a few Satoshis but people don't know that and they may assume you are some big investor or anyway someone very wealthy, and depending on where you live it could actually put you in some type of danger.

Therefore, some people not easily trusting those who wearing BTC-logo shirts and choose to adopt an indifferent attitude towards anyone. I personally also opt for a neutral stance toward people wearing BTC logos oh their shirts, just acknowledging that they are wearing BTC logos not for some bad reason. As long as there's no official government prohibition in my country regarding rules for wearing BTC-logo clothing, it's still considered safe if you have positive mindset. If there's no fear of asset confiscation, then billionaires like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, and others wouldn't be sharing their wealth, right? Even those of us who don't have more than 1% of their wealth act overly protective.

It's better to be reasonable. There are many people wealthier than us, so why should we fear threats to our BTC assets? After all, if criminals want to make more money, they could choose to kidnap other billionaires rather than us.
I am ambivalent about the BTC-logo on clothing. On the one hand, the BTC-logo on a T-shirt doesn't mean that you have bitcoins. It's just a print, an inscription or a picture, nothing more. A Lambo graphic on a T-shirt doesn't necessarily mean you have a Lambo stashed in your garage. On the other hand, why attract unnecessary attention? Nobody will steal from millionaires because they don't walk down the street wearing a BTCitcoin  T-shirt, but if an ordinary citizen does that, then he is under the scrutiny of everyone, regardless of whether he has bitcoins stashed in his pocket or not. The desire to be on trend with such a T-shirt can have different effects on your life depending on the specific country and local customs prevailing on the streets. It can be difficult to convince, under the influence of a $5 wrench, that you bought the T-shirt only because of the nice design and not because you have bitcoin.

Maybe in a safe country, like if I am living in Dubai I can wear this with no issue but I am from a very corrupt country, still many don't know about Bitcoin, some have not even heard about it before but I am still scared because almost everyday people are getting killed, some kidnapped and some are sold for organ harvesting, my country is not a safe place for me to start wearing Bitcoin cloth, if I manage to attract the bad ones I will become a target.

I don't think that testing Bitcoin on your cloth will do anything for those who are not into Bitcoin yet, it's not like as if people will start getting to know what Bitcoin is all about, I would rather keep quiet and keep my head down right now, imagine you been rich and you decide to look very poor just to be safe in your country? This is how bad it is in my country right now.

The shirt looks awesome, I would wear it proudly if I had one. Grey is one of my favourite colours and I don't have any problems with sharing publicly that I like Bitcoin. It would also be nice to get into conversations with strangers about crypto currencies. Just because you are wearing crypto merch doesn't mean that people know how much money you have invested in it. To me it doesn't make sense to target people based on the clothes they are wearing, because then the criminals would be only focus on the people wearing designer clothes that cost thousands of Dollars. Or imagine someone wearing clothes with Dollar signs on it, it doesn't mean that they are rich and have a lot of cash in their pockets. The only thing people get from your T-shirt is that you like crpytos, but even that might not be true because It could also be that you received it as a gift from someone else. Personally, I didn't buy any new clothes in the last 2 years because I was struggling a lot with the pandemic and now high inflation. I still have a lot of clothes at home and even managed to sell some of my older stuff that doesn't fit me anymore this year. Going to second hand markets and selling a few items helped me to get some additional funds. If I ever see a cheap Bitcoin shirt, I would buy one as well.

...

There are some good bitcoin logos that I actually want to print to custom clothes, but until now I still haven't done it because I am not sure whether it will bring good to me, especially since there are some cases of the owner of Bitcoin who were sought by robbers, I became more scared to demonstrate my Bitcoin ownership, Bitcoin is an asset that is currently being targeted by many people, in fact there are even quite a lot of ordinary people who want bitcoin even if they don't understand that. Maintaining privacy in ownership of Bitcoin will continue to provide good benefits to their owners, especially in terms of security, I understand that very well.

Wearing bitcoin cloth we let many people to have different thought about you, according to what op said, he was asked by someone if has bitcoin. Doing this can attract bad ones against you.  For me I love making bitcoin anonymous so that people people won't have in their mind that I own bitcoin.  For me no need to wear bitcoin cloth because it can cause problems to people.  The way people judge people who are into bitcoin they think people who have bitcoin are rich,  having bitcoin is not what people needs to announce in the public.

Ain't missing a chance to shill your useless dead shitcoin even here?

Anyway, back on topic... I have mixed feelings regarding wearing clothes with BTC logo on them. I don't consider it particularly safe but I also respect such people as they're doing a great job of promoting Bitcoin to the masses.

I think this once, as far as I know, it's before the pandemic, when I did go to a landbased casinos and see the reaction of the people. But so far, none has approach me and call my attention for wearing a bitcoin logo. So not sure if I look like a person that is not approachable or if bitcoin is not that well known in our country (I believed otherwise). So that is a failed social experiment in my end.

But yeah, looking back though, I shouldn't have done that, because we really don't know, maybe someone is looking to victimized a bitcoin enthusiast and we have heard horror stories already of people being kidnapped or criminals doing the 5 dollar wrench attack as it is in the rise for the last couple of years.

If you analyze it well, there's nothing wrong with wearing a bitcoin logo shirt since we are entitled for our own freedom to wear what we want as long as it's not against our norms and rules. But since there are people that are too malicious, or just want to take advantage in every man's personal property, then it's better to just avoid wearing bitcoin shirt because that would mean to other people that you are flaunting your wealth and your life will eventually live in danger.

Bitcoin is an expensive asset that means wealth for most of the people who are aware about the value of bitcoin. And exposing yourself that you are a bitcoin lover might create a negative feeling for most of the people around especially those who are having secret envy on you.

Wearing clothes that have a bitcoin logo may seem like a nice and simple approach to introduce bitcoin to others who are unaware of it, but would people interpret it that way, that you are promoting it so they can connect with the idea of being financially independent?

Before taking that action of spreading awareness of bitcoin, one should consider their safety because not everyone in our world is in good reason of bitcoin. Some people would think that those who owe bitcoin are rich and they are vulnerable to being teamed up against to collect their bitcoin without a trace and that ends it. That won't be a pleasant experience for someone to go through after hodling bitcoin for so long in preparation for the bull run, someone else takes it away from him by force.

What do you mean that stores that openly accept bitcoin payments are also in danger?

I did not say anything of that nature, nor did Russlenat. I was only explaining how I don't wear a Bitcoin T-shirt in public places, but in my shop there's a display saying, "We accept Bitcoin here." What risk is greater than that one? I feel it's the same thing as wearing a Bitcoin-branded t-shirt in public. It might put someone at risk, but being aware of it, the person should be extremely careful, knowing that they are actually letting people know that they are Bitcoin investors.

I understand your perspective on wearing bitcoin-branded apparel. While it's encouraging to see a growing awareness and enthusiasm for bitcoin in your area, it's also important to consider the potential risks associated with openly displaying your involvement in the cryptocurrency space.

In regions where bitcoin is still relatively new or unfamiliar, openly wearing bitcoin-branded clothing could attract unwanted attention, potentially making you a target for scams, theft, or even physical harm. This is especially true for individuals who carry significant amounts of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

While there may be a sense of camaraderie among bitcoin enthusiasts within your area, it's crucial to exercise caution and discretion when expressing your involvement in the cryptocurrency world. Avoid flaunting your wealth or making it known that you possess substantial cryptocurrency holdings.

Wearing Bitcoin Polo or T-shirt is nothing and it is normal printed clothes. I have seen a lot of people wore Bitcoin printed clothes in my residence. And when I asked some bought it in the market. So it is not a new thing for it. And if someone approach you because of the Bitcoin printed clothe your are wearing then you can simply tell the person you bought it like that in the market. This is also happened to those who wear Army clothes and when the Army approach them, they would told them that they got it from the market. Though Army own is depends on the printed colour. If is very light and does not really looks like their colour they can consider you and ask you to remove the clothe but if it is their real color then you have to face some punishment. As for me wearing Bitcoin printed clothe is not dangerous as you said.

There's some country like yours mate it's okay to wear TShirts like this but in other countries you can wear but after a few days or
even hour's you will face some consequences after cause some scammers and bad guys will investigate you  and once they found out that you are an investors of Bitcoin then there's a high possibility that they will got interest on you and they will chase you where ever you go. So if I your country will okay then some will not and it's better to be safe so if I am in the country of danger then wouldn't risk my self.

I'm wondering what your response was to the person who asked you if you owned Bitcoin?

It seems to me that the fact that you wear the Bitcoin logo already implies that you have Bitcoin. I don’t know if this is bad or not, but I don’t see anything good in it either. I might also want to wear clothes like this because I like Bitcoin, but it would draw unnecessary attention to me so I don't. Money loves silence in any case, so it is better to exclude any guesses from people about whether we own Bitcoin or not.

Its just a piece of clothing so i personally don’t think you are putting yourself in risk lol, I once saw a kid in streets selling something wearing bitcoin tshirt (It was a nice tshirt NGL). Anyways wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing and whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. I personally wouldn’t wear them because it looks cringe but you do you bro.
Nah it's not as simple as that. That clothing could be the same as putting a target on your back depending where you reside. You probably haven't heard or read anything about people getting attacked at their homes just because the robbers thought the victim has crypto. If you live in the hood or any area where criminals can rob you at broad daylight then wearing a shirt with BTC logo isn't a wise choice.

I honestly do not see any wrong with wearing bitcoin clothing, at least, here in my country, clothes designed with Bitcoin logo have become very rampart, it has become very common that even non bitcoin holders are buying and wearing it, not particularly because of the bitcoin logo but because they maybe like the color of the cloth.

I am very sure of this based on one recent happening where someone I know very well was wearing a bitcoin logoed t-shirt, he was never into cryptocurrency, and neither has he ever bought even 1 satoshi, Infact, he knows absolutely nothing about bitcoin. I one day approached him and asked him if he knew the meaning of the logo drawn on his t-shirt, he's response was.."who cares about logo, I like the color of the t-shirt, that's why I bought it".

So, yeah, not every one wearing a bitcoin logoed cloth is actually holding bitcoin, or are into crypto.
Maybe it depends on the individual. But yes there's nothing wrong with that. It's just a printed tshirt with a Bitcoin design or logo. No one can immediately confirm you hold a whole Bitcoin and put you in danger. People will only be curious if you hold one or more but then after that, nothing will happen. It's not the same as wearing gold to show to others which can be dangerous, specifically in public.
