This isn't a bad idea most especially if you have some of those cool Bitcoin designs for a good art designer,  but then it may attract a lot more negativity to you than positivities, the  This is because wearing such encrypted Bitcoin clothing exposes you to a lot of risks and deny you the right to privacy and if you are leaving in a country such as a mind where there be multiple cases of scam and other security issues, it becomes important that, you as a Bitcoin holder must too everything 7ot takes to remain safe and securely protected at all time.

Currently bitcoin in my country is quite well known and many people are into crypto, especially bitcoin, so in this case wearing attributes that identify with bitcoin such as wearing t-shirts or sweaters is quite common in my area because it's not just me who does that but several people also wear the same thing but if in the end this is still a taboo in your area then I quite agree with some people here because this is still a little dangerous.
Because apart from the privacy being targeted, we will also be labeled as one of the people who could be considered bad if bitcoin becomes something taboo in your area.
But the positive thing is that at least in your area you know there are people who are in bitcoin and if they want to learn more they can have a little discussion with you about this kind of thing.

Has anyone ever tried wearing a Bitcoin clothing in public? I wore mine to an event earlier this week and noticed that most of the young age people were looking at it. One person even asked me if I owned a Bitcoin(which I've answered him ). It just popped into my mind that is it making myself vulnerable to bad people? We are aware that we should keep quiet if we own Bitcoin because of the risk that someone will hurt us or target us so that they could get our Bitcoin.

I think it's okay to use attributes with the bitcoin logo. Especially if we are not rich and don't have a luxurious lifestyle. Bad guys definitely target rich people and they're not going to investigate someone wearing a t-shirt with a bitcoin logo that looks ordinary. Plus, stealing bitcoins is more difficult than cash or gold, I don't think many people have hacking skills. So in my opinion it is still more dangerous to show off money or gold than just wearing an attribute with the Bitcoin logo

I already have plans to make t-shirts with the bitcoin logo. But I haven't done it yet, I'm still looking for a simple logo idea. If I have printed t-shirts with the Bitcoin logo, I will publish it here.

I guess this is really a bad idea in the sense that you are making yourself transparent to all those who have negative assumptions on bitcoin. And not only that, you are making yourself vulnerable to any bitcoin scams that will put yourself in danger. While this can be a mere publication for bitcoin that it really is  legit and existing, but we don't know how majority of the people would react on it. Some may think that you are not abiding with the government laws, while some are seeing opportunities in you to get you involved in a scam and steal all your bitcoin in your wallet.

So there's a lot of possibilities that wearing bitcoin t-shirt might trigger. And I don't want to be part on it literally, so wearing bitcoin logo for me is really a bad idea and that never really comes in my mind exposing myself that I'm into bitcoin.

I don't see wearing t-shirts with bitcoin logo printed on it as a risk because wearing the T-shirt doesn't mean that you have bitcoin and how will they know that you are into bitcoin if you didn't tell them. What if the T-shirt was given to you by someone. Before anyone will  attack you for wearing bitcoin t-shirt, it means that they already know that you are a bitcoiner. I have worn bitcoin t-shirt to places and the only thing that I noticed was that people loved the design and they asked me where did I buy it from. I told them that I customized it because I love the logo and that was all. It is not everyone that is wearing bitcoin t-shirt that owns bitcoin, and I believe that those criminals already know that.

It just like I went somewhere and saw a Ferrari car and took picture with it, does that mean that I own a Ferrari. You can never be attacked by anyone if there are not very sure that you have bitcoin. This is because arm robbers will always monitor and investigate the person that they want to rob to make sure that he has what they want before robbing the person. The only problem that I see is that if bitcoin is banned in your country and your are putting in the t-shirt that it might be a problem to you because the government might not take it lightly.

Am talking about my country and I don't know about yours.

Obviously, you are attracting people not only those who know bitcoin, but also to those who have only heard bitcoin the first time. And most of all, you are putting yourself in danger to those scammers who are hunting for some victims. Bitcoin has a very huge value as an asset so if they think you are hodling bitcoin as well, then be careful with the people you suddenly meet after that event as they can be those scammers that have already set plans to attack you and steal your bitcoin, or worst kidnappers and declare a huge ransom in exchange for bitcoin.

However, if only all the people are bitcoin-friendly, then you don't have to worry wearing bitcoin logo, but since the world has a lot of negative people around, then it's better not to expose yourself that you are into bitcoin for your own security.

Wearing a Bitcoin shirt, doesn't necessarily mean it. That you must have Bitcoin. It is possible that you are wearing this shirt just for hobby or promotion.
I am involved in crypto and bitcoin and a student of this field. I like to wear bitcoin shirts. Although I don't own Bitcoin, this shirt shows my love for Bitcoin and nothing else.
ٰAnd as far as I'm concerned people love Bitcoin. And he also likes to wear its shirt.

Yeah it's good to increase Bitcoin visibility and I like when someone promote Bitcoin to public, but I make sure it was not me. Cheesy

It's not worth to trade my life to increase Bitcoin adoption, just let it by nature, sooner or later when someone is already learn about financial and technology, they will realize if Bitcoin is important.
Nothing is more important than life. Although Bitcoin is a worthy thing, it is good to promote it, but not so much that you trade your life. Meaning, it is good to promote so that awareness spreads and Bitcoin is widely adopted, but not in such a way that you die for the sake of this promotion. It is obvious that when malicious people see Bitcoin holding, they want to get it at any cost. They can even kill you or kidnap you to get the seed phrase.

So I think this thing is full of risk and should be handled carefully. Yes, to the extent that you feel that doing Bitcion Promete in this place does not pose any risk to you, then surely you should have Bitcoin Clothes in this place or you can express your holding of funds. But keep the principles and decide within the circumstances so that you don't have to face any problems later.

I was worn one time, but the problem was the people who are here in our country didn't even like it and the government don't want fully here to support the bitcoin. So they just warn me for it. After that I have worn many times in my home who have written on the middle "Bitcoin is Best" and also even I wrote than on the similar shirt which I gifted to my friend which also have some information about the trading.

My family wants me to wear that shirt because it has an orange colour which I like too much but I can't go with that shirt outside due to the government restrictions on these type of things. Because every country has its own rules and regulations which we have to take care for them as always and nor to disobey their rule. Otherwise they have the access to punish us.

As a collector of physical bitcoin/cryptocurrency items (coins, pins, shirts etc) I have quite a few bitcoin shirts, but I never wear them.  I don't wear them basically for the reason you presented.  I don't like to advertise what I have financially wise.  Yes, if you're in the wrong place and the right time, or have someone near you with nefarious ways, I think it's definitely something to worry about.  Better safe than sorry.

Don't do it. It will gather unnecessary attention on you. Especially criminals might make a target out of you. Even if you don't have big amounts in crypto, you may go through some unpleasant events. The police may also see you differently. There was a story years ago, a dude was wearing a btc hat or smth and the airport police questioned him because of it. Why take a risk like that? You don't need to prove anything to anybody. Be modest.

Wear it and wear it proudly.

Bottom line is you are going to die no matter what you do.

So do things you believe in so at least when time comes to die you will know you did things you believe in.

OP its a nice t-shirt and of course you should wear it, don't listen to over paranoid users, they tend to focus on negativity and non sense instead of logic sense and positivity and most of them hasn't been outdoors for years. Grin
Nah but serious, I would say it depends where in the world you are staying. But I am 99.99% sure it's more likely you will get hit by a car then that someone would go up to you and success stealing your funds because your wearing a t-shirt. It's not like if you see every people wearing gold get robbed, nah it's just non sense. Life is meant to be enjoyed and not wasted! Enjoy.  Cool

I wouldn’t recommend this and would not do it myself even

even though we want to show appreciation to the coin, it’s extremely risky to be wearing this out in public many have showed interest to the coin but can’t afford it so if you go around telling anyone that you do have bitcoin then you’re making yourself vulnerable to people with bad intentions they can now easily steal your phone or just target it, send links for you to open it and etc

be careful and stay vigilant

The use of such logos on one's own clothing may or may not be risky. I've seen a lot of people have t-shirts with gun logos on them, so that doesn't mean he's going to have a gun or be picked up by law enforcement. I don't think it would be that risky to use such an outfit where Bitcoin is completely private to everyone. But unfortunately, the public display of wealth or valuable assets like Bitcoin can make someone a potential target for theft or scams. Personal safety should always take precedence over any fashion preferences or interests.

While I understand your enthusiasm for Bitcoin and your desire to promote its adoption, I must caution you against openly displaying your Bitcoin affiliation in public, such as wearing a Bitcoin shirt. While educating the public about Bitcoin is commendable, doing so at the expense of your personal safety is not advisable.

The cryptocurrency landscape, unfortunately, is not immune to unscrupulous individuals who prey on unsuspecting individuals. Scammers are constantly devising new ways to exploit the uninitiated, and your public display of Bitcoin enthusiasm could inadvertently attract their attention.

Therefore, I strongly advise against wearing Bitcoin-branded clothing or openly discussing your Bitcoin holdings in public settings. There are more prudent and effective ways to contribute to Bitcoin adoption without jeopardizing your safety.

You just pulled out a daring stunt whole appreciating what you did I would request you not to do this ever as it would just land you into trouble.  As you might be targeted by scammers or even if some authorities notice you might be in their radar especially if you live in a nation which is hostile towards Bitcoin ans crypto.

I understand that you tried creating awareness about Bitcoin but things don't work this way. I personally would never attempt something like that as we would end up bringing unnecessary attention towards us and ot will deprive us of privacy.

It's a mix in opinion regarding this but for me, I think that it's alright to wear something that resembles bitcoin in public, it's not like it's going to be a big deal but I don't want to sound tone deaf but I am speaking in experience since I live in a pretty safe city and neighborhood so consider that when you're wearing that and also you need to consider the popularity of bitcoin among the common people because if they don't know a thing about it then it's probably alright for you to wear it anyways. To me, if someone approaches me when I wear something similar to OP and asks about stuff regarding what I am wearing which most of the time isn't bitcoin related, I just tell them that I am not a fan or enthusiast of what I'm wearing, I just like the design so I bought it or sometimes I tell them it's my brother's clothes.

There's nothing bad to wear a dress, polo or t-shirt with BTC written on it as long as the area you're wearing it to is not against their law.
Is better to turn the question (if you owned a Bitcoin?) around by making it look like you're preaching about Bitcoin rather than letting them know you owned a Bitcoin, because if you do, things might get messy for you but if you ignore the question and start telling the person about Bitcoin he/she will forget about the question and even pick interest in engaging in trading or investing.

Be careful, I wouldn't want to add your story to this thread Physical Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Attacks that Have Been Reported Worldwide
You shouldn't do it again. Unless you want to be a statistic. Your life is more precious to your family. Well, now that you have done than and the good and bad guys know that you have bitcoins, here are some security tips for you.
 - Do not stay out late.
 - When you are at home, keep your doors locked at all times.
 - If you can get a surveillance camera and mount it at strategic points in your compound.
 - Do not respond to strangers telling you to teach them about bitcoin.
 - Always tell your family and friends your whereabouts.
 - Keep a low key.
