Am I missing something here? What do you think may be the cause of Litecoin's stagnation? Will it have a future? Do you think it is worth buying and holding for the long term just like Bitcoin? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Just like every other era, the meme coins were the fad this go around. When the smoke clears coins like bitcoin, litecoin, eth will still be standing. Keep piling into them and you should be fine. These fad coins will get smashed eventually. They are just pump toys.

Today someone played an interesting “game” with Lite, when it suddenly pumped to 240$ and then again dumped to 170$. Everything happened so fast and unexpectedly for me. Now I'm just sitting and thinking, what was it and what could it mean. Very odd moment. Think, we need to pay more attention to Lite now, it can grow up now.

I'm pretty sure Litecoin will last a lifetime. Just like you said, Litecoin is one of the oldest surviving coins after Bitcoin. It's a tried-and-tested blockchain network with a solid foundation built upon it. Other altcoins are easily attacked because of their low network hashrate. But Litecoin hasn't seen any kind of interference since launch (as far as I'm aware).

The reason why Litecoin hasn't been soaring towards new heights is because of low market demand. Most people are focused on "De-Fi" and NFTs, so single-purpose blockchain networks (like Litecoin) are left behind in the dust. What matters is that Litecoin stays decentralized and censorship-resistant. Only this way, it'll be able to withstand governments' efforts against it. I wouldn't worry about Litecoin's price as long as the Blockchain is still alive. Just my thoughts Grin

The price have been up and down, but despite that it has managed to survive in the cryptocurrency market. It can be said that the prices haven't increased as much as ADA or BNB, but still LTC has given good returns to those who invested in that coin. That said, some of the newer coins have managed to overtake LTC. Once upon a time, LTC used to rank within the top-5. After a few years, it dropped to top-10. And now it is at no.14 in market cap as per the Coinmarketcap list. Let's hope that it will stay there for sometime.

for the long term of course LTC will not be in doubt. but now there is bad news regarding LTC which turns out to be false news. I believe the reason for the current market downturn is not the news. and now we can only wait for how bitcoin will trend the market. and I'm sure LTC will follow suit.

No one can ever compete with Litecoin and ETH.
Truly after BTC they are the real OGs who have survived the market for the past years.
Yes currently the price of LTC should have gone too up, but due to the big social investors support towards other coins have made the rising in a slower pace.
Nevertheless the time for LTC will soon come and soon the price will again rise.
Everyone will be curious about the coin and soon we will see a lot of activity regarding LTC.

For me, doge is unique, the key is that doge is still available because there are still influential people backing it up, which means it is still being pumped by Elon and discussed by big institutions, yes, doge is still up. Maybe this item is still lacking and is the main cause of LTC stagnation

Currently, LTC is still cheap and still okay to hold long term. LTC with supply = 84 million coins takes quite a long time to reach it is the same as Bitcoin = total supply of 21 million coins is expected to reach total supply in 2140.

Ltc actually keeps abreast of how the market is moving but cannot make itself move against the flow on its own like DOGE, ETH, BNB, ADA and SOL.
if only they were quicker to make changes like other potential projects do most of which already have smart contracts for their dapp projects. it is possible that there will be a mainstream change in LTC.

I'm using LTC for transactions, not for holding. It has very low fees and it's big advantage.BTC is for holding, ETH for holding and tech, LTC for usage.

Really disappointed with Litecoin. Never know if they don't have promoters or market analyst to promote their coin. A coin that was among the top 5 coin in the coinmarket has dropped to the 17th position shows that the product lack quality to compete in the top spot. other projects like doge made good price movements. it is surprising to see projects like Avanlance, solana, terra and other smart contract projects move pass litecoin. totally disappointing. i am holding and believing in litecoin.
