To my own point of view Litecoin (LTC) is decentralised money, free from censorship and open to all. Send low cost private, secure, borderless payments to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
Litecoin is a peer-to-peer virtual currency, which means it is not governed by a central authority. Litecoin's network offers instant, near-zero cost payments, so it worth holding and a bright future.

here I wonder why big coins like Litecoin have not been able to create hype and raise prices significantly. I see that the Litecoin opportunity is very large and has potential. when small coins have a chance to pump madly, but litecoins just sit still without any movement. but even so, litecoin is still feasible for long-term investment
Litecoin has a fairly large market capitalization, so it costs a lot of money to do it, and of course the person who will do it must have an influence on crypto development and have a large following. therefore more pumps occur in new projects, which are still easier to manipulate

I have always considered Litecoin as one of the most undervalued coins in the cryptocurrency market. I agree that the technology is not that advanced and LTC is a first-generation cryptocurrency. But the acceptability is very high and the low transaction fee and relative safety has ensured that this level doesn't go down as a result of competition. The developers have also worked hard, to eliminate any bugs that could be targeted by the hackers. LTC is one of the coins that I have in my portfolio and I have no plans to dump them anytime soon.

for litecoin still has a future. it's just that it might take a long time for Litecoin to have such a fantastic price. just look at the increase in crypto prices in Q1 2021 litecoin even stands still and doesn't move. it can be said if this litecoin is like being held back by something that makes litecoin run slowly.

Thats weird, my best time has been 2 minutes and the worst one up to 5 mins with low l/byte.

If DOGE went all the way from being worth nothing all the way to nearly $1 per coin, then Litecoin can do much more than that.
Sometimes, it is not about the potential the coin has but all about the hype around it. If the community is large enough then more people, usually newbies will follow.

Yes, it is not fair how DOGE can gain this momentum considering the close to nothing value it provides as a token but unfortunately it's the reality.

Last time I've checked, LTC developers announced the "Mimblewimble" privacy technique. I don't know if it's already been implemented since I haven't been catching up with the project's progress. Adding new features to a Blockchain should make the underlying cryptocurrency soar all the way to the moon. Yet, nothing is happening as LTC remains stagnant in price.

You're right, usually a main net upgrade should send the price skyrocketing at least for some time but that hasn't happened and it may all just be down to marketing???

If not enough people know about it, equally not many people would buy the coin. The speculation on LTC has been almost close to nothing and it is interesting how people have grown out of LTC phase and sorta moved over to meme coins and NFTs.

My feeling - it's just the trend!

Litecoin is my favourite since 2017 for my transactions but for an investment litecoin is increasing pretty slowly & steady so i don't like it's movement .

If it's just a transaction, I don't think it can be made as a favorite, because you only use Litecoin with low transaction fees. Favorites are coins that are used for short-term and long-term investments, even these coins are invested more than other coins.

Personally believe that Litecoin, because its low fees and fast transaction times, it is undervalued for a PoW coin.
However, one can't ignore the fact that Litecoin also lacks of the spotlight and speed of development other projects have, there are not big personalities chilling/promoting it, just small/medium sized businesses starting to accept it and not doing much noise about it.

I personally hope Litecoin will get the attention and value it deserves as the solid project it is supposed to be.

Litecoin is extremely undervalued. The cryptocurrency is scarce, yet cheaper and faster than Bitcoin itself. Of course, Dogecoin is much cheaper and faster than Litecoin. But it has inflation "baked" right into the protocol. Compare DOGE vs LTC's supply and you'll see the latter is a better option as a store of value. If people only valued cryptocurrencies based on their economic model than hype, things would've been much different. I guess Litecoin would've been worth more than $1k if we base ourselves on scarcity. But it's all about hype these days. Since Litecoin lacks innovative features compared to other cryptocurrencies on the market, major investors and traders have gone elsewhere. Ultimately, it's all about utility. As long as Litecoin is useful, nothing else matters. Just my opinion Smiley

Litecoin is intended to be a more scalable and speedier currency. Some cryptocurrency experts predict that Litecoin will soon replace Bitcoin as a virtual currency and a source of money due to its speed. Though Litecoin is frequently compared to Bitcoin, it boasts faster transaction speeds and cheaper costs for buying and selling LTC, making it a better investment in recent year.

I'm seeing most people are preferring to make use of TRX for their transaction purposes but I'm not seeing any big differences in terms of transaction fees between TRX and litecoins. Probably with litecoins, we are missing active dev team which must be the reason why investors and crypto users are ignoring all the benefits of litcoins.

Litecoin must be needing some big announcement so that it could keep attracting new adapters. But, considering how many coins and tokens are actively being traded in this crypto space, I doubt it will be possible to rebuild such a stronger community who keep on using litcoins for their all purposes.

What do you think may be the cause of Litecoin's stagnation? Will it have a future? Do you think it is worth buying and holding for the long term just like Bitcoin?
Yeah, we can feel that litcoin is not into the limetight of investors as of now and this is because investors and traders are having excessive options these days to trade and invest with. I read litecoin dev had sold all his holding which means litcoin might be facing lack of enhancements according to the current trends of crypto space. This must be another reason why litecoin is not an attractive speculative asset today.

If only people used it as a store of value like BTC, things would've been much different than what they are right now. At least, LTC is still being traded on the market. As long as there's a community backing it every step of the way, nothing else matters.
Yeah, continuous buyers and traders are more important for any coin. I do see many known exchanges are still listing litcoin pairs. I guess someone in future like Elon may adopt litcoin which may open second innings for litcoin how dogecoin did in recent times.

I think this coin will allow with ethereum price above $1,000 but last bitcoin crash LTC dump and ever under $100. Hope could recovery faster and I want to get back my money with profit from LTC holding.

The "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold" has been out of the spotlight for quite time. I'm surprised this is happening with LTC since worthless coins like Dogecoin and SHIBA are getting all of the attention in the mainstream world. Unlike the aforementioned coins, Litecoin with only 84 million coins that will ever exist. One thing for sure is that Litecoin is faster and cheaper than Bitcoin. If DOGE went all the way from being worth nothing all the way to nearly $1 per coin, then Litecoin can do much more than that.

Last time I've checked, LTC developers announced the "Mimblewimble" privacy technique. I don't know if it's already been implemented since I haven't been catching up with the project's progress. Am I missing something here? What do you think may be the cause of Litecoin's stagnation? Will it have a future? Do you think it is worth buying and holding for the long term just like Bitcoin? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
I don't think LTC is stagnant, they move slowly and massively, Doge and Shibainu get attention because there are fundamental figures behind them, sometimes the richest people in the world are easy to make such changes

The price of LTC is not stagnant, it's just that the price increases slowly when other coins get high hype but if we look at the candle on the price of course it is not stagnant and what I see from LTC is like BTC Coins and for the price development of LTC requires long term holding on the coin This is because the development of the MWEB will probably be effective in Q4 later so there is nothing wrong if we remain optimistic on LTC because I firmly believe this coin is very worth holding on to.
The main point it's development, From my perspective comparing to other Altcoin like Ethereum or Doge it's more stagnant and didn't doing some good performance lately, Their development seems stuck too Especially "Mimblewimble" since i didn't hear any good things lately but it's still on track, The purpose of Litecoin itself it's to becoming alternative from bitcoin which i still use it frequently to send from another exchange. Well, Let's hope it will change on Q4 as you said.

Litecoin wasn't stagnant, I remembered there was a time in 2020 its price was $40, it increased to over $300 this year, which means it is not stagnant, but it is not increasing to the extent you expected, but it actually increased. Litecoin was part of the first seven cryptocurrencies in marketcap but now fourteenth. One of the reason I think litecoin lack behind is that it does not have tokens, just like DeFi projects that also will increase its price, if its blockchain supports many tokens like ethereum, its price would have increased more. I think litecoin is worth holding as it will not be the only coin your are holding, it is possible there will be one time its price will increase than expected.
It is difficult to predict the future of Litecoin with precision because its price is easy to quickly go up and down, but if you believe that Bitcoin will increase again in the future, then you should also consider investing in Litecoin. Because with genuine precious metals it is often smarter to invest in silver than gold because the increase in silver prices often lags behind for a long time, leaving room for buyers, but in the end always catch up.

sadly, i dont think LTC will raise enough one day. Of course, like any other coins, it will follow the trend bullish or bearish. But it will never move itself. For me, the reason of this failure is Lee announcing he have sold all his LTC. How can you believe in a project if the creator itself is no more supporting his own kid ?
