I like NEM, IOTA, ADA and NEO. These are big altcoins that could generate a lot of FOMO in 2018. And also two gems, ICX and DRGN, both have a lot of ICO launching on their blockchain.
I think that is ETH, Neo, Bitcion Cash, the three most potent coins I have today and I think their prices will grow in the next year. If you are patient enough to hold them you will become a millionaire in the future.
At the moment I'm thinking about buying Litecoin, I was able to make money last year at a price jump, but now I want to buy to hold somewhere half a year...

I invest ALT coins for long-term in ethereum, ETC, monero, XRP. for short-term doge, byteball, iOST, and some ICO coins. I really hope the coins purchased will go up.
Stick with bitcoin as it is in a bullish trend,because you could be trapped with the altcoins when you are going to put most of your money to it,you shouldnt be risking your money to shitcoins,always invest to those coins which do you think can follow bitcoin's movements as bitcoin dictates what will the whole market will behave.
I'd recommend investing in already established coins. First of all, it is bitcoin, it should always be present in your crypto portfolio. As well as Ethereum, Bitcoin cash, Litecoin, Ripple, Monero, Waves, Dash, Eos, IOTA, NXT, ZCASH, NEM. The main rule remains in force-do not put all the money in one currency. Even the dollar will not always be omnipotent, as it loses round after round to bitcoin. Better to buy a few, then the growth of one block is more than the drawdown from the others.

Everybody here mentions eth.....sure it is somewhat more stable, but dont expect big profit. if eth goes back to 1200$ which is about 200%+ many other coins will give you 400-500%+.

My opinion, you should choose ETH. One of the best altcoin for long term invest. If you bought it a few weeks ago then now you will get a big profit. I think it's not too late to buy the ETH right now because the price will keep going up, and this would be a very good investment.
If you will check on the crypto market, majority of the alts are doing great right now where I would say that the market trend is favourable to the public because of the bounce in price value. Well, for my top altcoins that I believe are potential coins for investment are ETH,LTH,Neo and Cardano. Surely, if you are going to invest on these coins, optimal profit will soon be experience from your end.

It is always a better option to invest in multiple coins so that you may not lose all your money even if one of the coin is going down. Investing your money into altcoins is a very good thing to do but the fact is you need not to invest in coin which has no future as this won’t help you in anyway. Best to do your own research before investing on any coins. Taking suggestions from people isn't the best thing. They will be biased, will always suggest you to invest on coins they have invested so that more people invests on the coin to cause the price to go up. You can use coinmarketcap and look for coins that are top on market. I would personally suggest you to invest on ETH, Stellar and NEO. Advice me some good altcoin to buy?
The Ethereum is still good choice for this month, I think it's best to buy ETH with cascading method during April.
This is I always choose to invest ethereum from the previous charts price is really worthy to buy these days. When not decided take time to learn the market so you can have a firm decisions on which is great coin to buy. 
It's very difficult for me to choose between NEO and Nem, and so I decided to buy both these coins and keep them as a minimum of 4-5 months, except that Ethereum is also a good choice, I bought it last month.
I bought the Ethereum, ada, waves, iota, eos. And also I'm looking for new promising coins that have recently appeared on the exchange.
I think ripple and litecoin. I was stumble on this two coin while I am searching and found that this two are good too aside from eth.
