If you want to invest I think ripple is good for short term investment. I've seen 10 days ago ripple price doubled up. Even so now ripple price is still fairly cheap. If you invest here maybe a week later you can get a profit.
There is never a guarantee to riches with cryptocurrency, and in my view the key is continually buying on dips. Do your own due diligence. I think ICON, ELF, ADA, and EOS have a bright future. IOTA is high risk but if it succeeds it will moon, in my opinion.

So you have listed two altcoins - Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash. I would add one more - Monero. These three looks like the most reliable and high potential altcoins out there. There are a few other options as well, such as Litecoin and NEO, but I don't want to diversify my assets by too much.

I believe in Ethereum too. Its the same as the Bitcoin long time ago. It also started from the lower level. I won't be surprise when Eth also competes with BTC
