Ripple? If I am giving 1million XRP today for free, I will sell everything. I have never been comfortable one day holding this coin for so long knowing its history. However, no one can really say anything yet for now, but rather than holding a controlled coin, I would rather hold fiat. There are so many coins with a lot of prospect and the thing is that except one really gets lucky, one may never really know which one would bring the wealth in the long run.

Dude nobody will know it for 100% sure. Actually avery one can give you advice about some of altcoins, but it probably will be just predictions, unreasonable on anything. I can give you advice too: do not hear anyone and do your own research, think your own head and remember about risks every time.

I guess the alts that price ranges less than a dollar there you can buy a lot of coins then wait it to pump and then you will receive profits exponentially.
500$ is a good investment, but do your research carefully.
Personally I've recently invested in AppCoins during the presale. Their long term projections on the crowdsale sound good (maybe a bit exaggerated), but if they turn out to be even partially truth you can be rich. Plus their team and tech experience look solid.

Obviously none of top ten altcoins are going to make you rich with only a $500 investment. That ship has sailed. You need to find low marketcap coins that you belive have a bright future.

In my opinion you will have to disperse your funds into multiple coins, creating a portfolio for yourself is the best bet to survive in any market, sure you can choose one coin and be lucky, but what if you are unlucky from the get go ?

I don't think single altcoin can make us rich, you need to make good investment or you should get air token.

In my opinion buy some altcoin that just entered the market and these coin has big volume, big market and strong in fundamental, just like POWR, GRX, GVT, BTES, QSP. I think these altcoin promising big profit later. But to minimize the risk you have divide that amount of money in to minimum 2 altcoin. Always remember do you own reserach before make invest.
