There so many coin and i cannot mention all of that into this. But my fav one is always BAND and LINK for DEFI coin and for AI my favorite one is always AGIX. I think AI coins will perform better in the next bull run.
BAND? I think band isn't worth anymore. If you compare BAND with any other alts, BAND coin price has been drop drastically. The last ATH of this coin is 22$ and i don't think this coin will reach that price again. Still remember few years ago this coin is overhype because of the partnership with google cloud.

To be honest, I'm very impressed with what NeonLink has been doing lately. It would be strange not to mention it.

Unless there will be new type of coin that solves huge problem with internet services and such, I think we will never see altcoin rally this year. On the other hand if Bitcoin can break and went to 35000 dollar levels even Ethereum and BNB will jump to very very high levels. But as I stated its mostly about weather of cryptomarkets. I tend to go with BNB tho as I believe it will show the best performance in bull run.
A coin with a large community, experienced leaders, and strategic investors would be a great addition to the market. As we approach 2022, we should move away from shitcoins. The market is going through an unfortunate period where some of the best coins are down 80-90%, and those who are trying to pick up some shitcoins are making a mistake. BNB and Ethereum are the perfect choice to accumulate.

When it comes to DeFi, NFT, metaverse are all the rage this year, but that doesn't mean they're still hype up until now.
For this year all projects that carry trends such as defi, nft and metaverse begin to fade. Not sure what caused it all, but if I may argue because the market is in a bear market then everyone is leaving the crypto market, so there is no excessive hype like last year which was very crowded almost on all fronts. But I hope all this will end soon and more people will come again.
Investors are holding their money since the sentiment inside the market is unsure, for some risk takers they are capable of buying and holding while waiting for the market to bounce back and provide a decent amount of profits. Though there are some coin that still pumping and making some decent profits to traders who love riding with the sentiments.
It's hard though and there's always a chance of seeing more dump instead of seeing a good market pump.
Always be aware and be careful before you support any project and invest your money.

Buying shitcoins these days will only hurt your investments mate , remember that Defi had already a run last year so what are you talking about this 2022?even have very good performance in this bear market, if you go to Binance today you are also the top gainers of Defi altcoins such as Reef, WNXM, Lina and High.

not because those coins you mentioned reached the top meaning many will follow, there are several that earns but majority experience losses.
2022 is a year that is a bit of a trend, it almost doesn't even seem to explode this year. I predict at least in 2023 or 2024 to be more certain there will be bullish. When it comes to coins I am very happy with tron which is a good coin but still few people see its potential.
Why not add just one year? and that is 2025 that will surely rock the market and what ever good coins we buy now will surely bring us fortune that year. 
Regarding the coin type, I think web 3.0 and metaverse are still being talked about, but I'm still monitoring coins with the PlayToearn category
It is also difficult to expect big pumps quickly due to bear market. In the situation that the market is going through now, it is a matter of thinking how correct it will be to expect something fast from here. There are a lot of coins in the market and some coins that are quite solid but those coins are also badly dumped. So it is important to keep an eye on the market to get the signal of the next trend change.

2022 is almost over so perhaps we should start considering 2023 now. Before this thread ends and a new one is created I should state for posterity that we will moon in Q4 as central banks pump more money into the system and stop QE as directed by the UN. This will make cryptos pump. I still see a collapse inbound but that won't happen until 2023. Crypto will rise from the ashes and become the new financial system. If you are trading now then you can make some short term profit. If you are a staker, be prepared to lock stake something like ETH, HEX, or MAXX finance for several years to wait out the collapse and the new system.
I think the new coin available on the market today, Golcoin, will be a fantastic coin, opened at a good price of around $50 so it's a hope for a big profit in a short time. But you have to make sure you do a deep analysis before investing so you don't blame me one day.

In my opinion the project that will skyrocket in 2022 remaining in 3 months is that carrying the concept of metaverse, I'm sure the Metaverse trend will soon explode and make us must always invest and follow developments in the Metaverse project.

I can say that I'm experienced but I have only seen and heard your project metaverse on the forum and was commented by other posters. Not because that many are experiened, it means that they've heard and invested in most projects, no.It's because that we've got some certain projects where we have invested and gained profit thus, it's all our preferences in projects where we have an idea and knowledge.

sure that XRP will make another Hype as I was expecting a 1$ price if that happens.
Based on the recent market movements during the bearish trend I see Cardano to be more valuable and could move good amidst the ongoing market trend. If the market of bitcoin progress good, then for sure we'll experience a bigger profit on Cardano holding.
I don't like XRP because it's too centralized and we are not sure if its litigation and the SEC can be over by the end of the year?
Since 2018, XRP has never returned to its old ATH of $3, which is disappointing for anyone who has ever trusted and invested in it.
ADA seems to be getting better, the upcoming update will make ADA transaction fees cheaper and make applications on ADA more decentralized. ADA is quite slow in developing their project but they are always sure in every step. I believe ADA will explode when the Vasil upgrade is complete.

I think in a bear market condition like today it will be very difficult to predict which coin will experience a massive price pumping because when the market is in a downward stage, of course, all coins on the market also experience a decrease in price so that many coins in the market will trade below its intrinsic value.
