The 2017 GPI indicates Iceland, New Zealand, Portugal, Austria, and Denmark to be the most peaceful countries and Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, South Sudan, and Yemen to be the least peaceful.

Yeah.... and I could agree with that. NZ and Iceland are remote island nations, and therefore it is quite tough for the illegal immigrants to migrate to these nations. Portugal is not an attractive option for the immigrants, because the welfare system is a bit tough. The remaining two (Austria and Denmark) are having some of the toughest immigration policies in the European Union.

Which countries in the world do you think are the most peaceful and peace-loving?

The peaceful country for me is the iceland, because I noticed that people were silent and were away from the disturbing events. And they are not only in the peaceful country, but also in countries that are hidden beauties and paradise. What a wonderful place, once I was wealthy? that's the first thing I'm going to do because of the greatness of my attraction. And in that area too cold, the iceland is far from chaotic and quiet country Smiley.

In those where the military industry is very poorly developed, and people in developed countries are almost everywhere peace-loving. And so sociologists have already tried for you, look at the list, and choose a country suitable for your life.

There are so many beautiful places on Earth. The person who travels often can see this. I myself was in several countries and each of them has its own beauty.

Hmm lets see dont know about peaceful 100% but in my eyes countries that are not trying to get into wars actively are (in no particular order) :

1) Canada
2) Switzerland
3) Denmark
4) Finland
5) Sweden

#5 in the list definitely don't belong there. Sweden has replaced South Africa as the rape capital of the world many years ago. The Somali, Afghan and other Muslim immigrants have turned cities such as Malmo as no go zones for the native Swedes. Unfortunately, the neighboring Finland is also slowly moving in the direction of Sweden.

Agree very true and in Switzerland too the same thing is going to happen. Was a very safe place but things have started to change and unfortunately not for the better. Cause of this has been a flood of various other cultures which see things differently and do not adapt to the rules and culture that we have.... Oh well lets see what happens.

Switzerland is in a relatively better position, as it is not an European Union member. So the country is having sovereignty over its own borders. Also, the largest political party there (SVP) is quite opposed to immigration from the Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. But I am concerned over the rapid rise in Muslim immigrants during the last few decades.

I think mecca. Mecca is the holy city of Muslims all over the world. and Mecca is also the safest and most peaceful city that ever existed in the world.

Rape is now happening in almost every country in Europe due to Angela Merkel open door policy, I am beginning to wonder if she consulted the other European leader before she made the decision or whether they were all in on it because they say a little boy drowned on the beach. That's a publicity stunt am very sure of it.

For me the only countries that are truly at peace are those that have a certain history and have a small demographic / area. Moreover, the political climate must be stable. By that I mean countries like Iceland, Norway, Finland, Estonia. These quoted regions must truly experience an exceptional quality of life.

But in the end, should not we go to the prison side? The lowest prison population: Sweden.
