The Global Peace Index drafted by the Institute for Economy and Peace seeks to create the world's most peaceful countries. There are 22 indicators used to determine the level of peace of a country such as crime rate, relations with the surrounding country and never involved in war.

I think Switzerland, that's why it is also a neutral country in war and this is also due to its geographic position.
Scandinavia, Canada, Australia, and it might seems strange but also USA. I have heard foreigners think Americans are cool for making conversations with strangers in public, which isn't normal in a lot of other countries these days.
The United States is quite peaceful, when compared to the third world nations. But when we compare it to the other developed nations, we can see that the crime rate is much higher (especially in the minority dominated areas). You can compare the crime rates in countries such as Singapore and Japan to those in the south-eastern United States.
