The united states is certainly low on the list. Wonder how that could be changed? such a large portion of the population seems bent on violence. its like a dog eat dog world, but it doesnt have to be. a peaceful utopia world wide is within our reach.
I thought that Singapore was a peaceful country - till I found out that they have a huge Tank force in Singapore. What I found out was really staggering.
With the help of advisers from Israel the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) used mandatory conscription called National Service to maintain a sizable standing army with the best equipment money could buy. This mindset is still apparent today and as a result the Republic of Singapore possesses the most advanced military in the region.

the most peaceful countries in the whole world is Iceland, because they are educated, law abiding citizen of the republic, loving people. less crimes even the politics they posses a good character of an individual and everyone contributed their values to the society that's why they are top 1 in ranking. followed by New Zealand, Portugal, Austria and Denmark are the top ranking Peaceful countries in the whole world.
The Most Peaceful Countries in the world are Iceland, New Zealand, Portugal, Austria, and Denmark. Because people here are kind and courteous.
United Arab Emirates should have been here never had a war and helped out alot of countries and very polite and peaceful people in the country.
I think it's New Zealand. 
New Zealand is a very peaceful country, but I doubt for how long it will remain like that. The government is an extreme-leftist one, and they are importing tens of thousands of third world immigrants from every nook and corner of the world (including Somalia and Afghanistan). And close to 20% of the population is either Maori or other Pacific islander.
I actually don't have an idea though I think that the country with most law abiding citizens is the most peaceful country. I strongly agree that when people follow the rules and guidelines of their government, then there would be no conflict.

I think the most peaceful place to live is New Zealand. If I have a chance I will be happy to go there.

You are from Ukraine? Don't worry much about the rating. It is just a temporary dip due to the ongoing conflict in the Donbass region. Once the conflict is over, Ukraine will become peaceful once again. But that said, I don't know for how long it is going to wage on. Just a few days back, 5 Ukrainian soldiers and 8 rebels died in gunfight near Lugansk.

Any country with absolute peace is a country without a future. so long as there is potential even between two siblings they're bound to be war at the minimum stage. At the other hand, outside human or material factor, a nation that knows God and recognises him will have and experience reasonable peace. peace is not the absent of war, it is how to manage the war and still be alive.
Dubai and Switzerland.
I really doubt that Dubai is a very peaceful country, do you know how they maltreat people over there, there is a lot of Human abuse going on there especially against people who go there to work especially immigrants from Africa.

I think the world's most secure country is Iceland because in the history of independence the country of Iceland has never had an enemy and there is also a norwegian country that highlights the human rights of personal freedom of religion and tolerance to culture Which countries in the world do you think are the most peaceful and peace-loving?
Japan is one of the most peaceful countries in the world. People their love quiet places, they dont quarrel and they respect others which made their country peaceful.
Also the calm peaceful island nations in the Pacific, such as Palau, Micronesia and Marshall Islands.

What about there attitude towards other races? Do you consider them racist?I have never been to Switzerland, but my friends who are working there have told me that it is a nice place to live. They face no issues of racism or xenophobia (they are also from India). But don't expect soft treatment if you are an immigrant and you want to commit some sort of crime. I have heard that the Swiss cops are very efficient and strict.
Come on. I heard it from a Swiss guy - if you don't learn 4 languages there in school - French, German, Italian and Rhetoromanic - they just will throw you out of school.
This is no fun for kids - I'm sure.
