I dont invest in any sites even in casinos and no even in cloudmining sites. I dont trade too in altcoins because bitcoin itself is already a trading. All I did is from signature campaigns and in twitter campaigns, I just dave it for future to earn more.
Its good that you are not investing it any cloud mining site or gambling site as there is always an chance of loosing your money but you can try to invest some amount of it in trading to grow them for future.
In the most cases I'm only holding it but there are some times I just spend it to buy some nice things with it.

The best way to make the difference in the price of bitcoin. I will not sell your coins, and only interest that I get. Of course this is not big profits, but it is stable.

and i mostly hold bitocin for the price increase, although i can use if for my mobile recharge but mostly we have no opportunities of using bitcoin in our local bazar, and therefore i mostly hold bitcoin for the price increase. 
Most of my coins are idle atm(as soon as the price spikes above $800 i'll sell em all and buy back at lower prices), with few coins left in exchanger i'm trading with those coins.
From today I decided just to save my bitcoins. Before that I cashed it out every month or two and used in on my daily things as shopping and staff. But My friend who attracted me to all that said me that it is not so wise, cause soon bitcoin will grow to 1000$ again, he is trust worthy, because he is in bitcoin world for a long time and he knows much more of them. So for now - saving, only saving.
i almost did the same thing like you to save a little bit bitcoin and use it to purchasing stuff but I think you do not need to trust completely with your friends predictions, no one knows whether bitcoin is able to reach $ 1,000.

I think that Bitcoin is very perspective but it is still hard for me to rely on it. That is why I earn Bitcoin by working for Signature campaigns and then try to exchange it to my local currency. I wouldn't have done that if it was possible to use Bitcoin to buy food in supermarkets, for instance.

Same thing for me, i use it to pay bills, send money to my parents and buy items that i liked online. Aside from that i use it to invest in ICO. to grow it, just like what is happening to Pesobit now, it is 10x its ICO price meaning I already booked 10x profit in it. I also use in in trading altcoins, those shitcoins and good coins that worth holding for a very long time.

I am currently collecting my Bitcoin and saving some of it in a form of cold storage while I also spend a small amount of it on various things. I have also been using my Bitcoin to invest in some businesses and so, however, it is becoming harder to identify decent investments and there are too many scams out there making it more than a slight challenge to feel secure with an investment you make.
The only investment i feel safe about is alt coin trading where you decide if where your money will go, but also there can be scams in alt coin markets too so you need to be careful before trading some coins as the new coins are scams sometimes.
Yeah we need to be very careful in investing in any particular alt coin as there are many shit coins available that may disappear within few hours so its good to invest in coins with higher volume.

For me i also earn bitcoins but i am saving them for future needs.
Earning them in different ways and saving them for future is the best way to treat your coins at a moment, and if you have saved descent amount of coins till date then you can also invest few of them in trading.
Saving and saving. A lot of people here are all saving. Then where goes the spending. We forgot that we should also spend for merchants to see that ot can really be used as a currency. How can they also open up businesses if they see no movement with its economy.
Everyone wants to spend their coins and use it like a currency but we know what is the reality at a moment as we cannot spend them directly but we can always sell them and exchange to fiat for spending.
