I use Ethereum for a long term investment. Because I believe in its potential. It's one of the most reliable and popular coins.
ETH is one of the coins that I am most interested in investing for long term. While the entire crypto industry is still young, and as it grows, so should ETH. It is considered one of the three most used cryptocurrencies for purchases and payments. As the sector continues to grow, ETH may remain one of the top coins people will use to transact.
I use ethereum for long-term investment because I see ethereum growing and I also believe if ethereum will have a very high value in the future

I am using Ethereum as my long term investment. I am believe ethereum is good long term investment because ethereum have good team and they always improve the platform. Beside that, many prediction about ethereum price in the future that it will going up to $2500 end this year
First, for me ethereum is used to investment, it is much stable than another cryptos besides bitcoin.
Second, it is like money in crypto, I used it to investment in ICOs and buy tokens in the exchanges.

I don't think most of these tokens have any other use than this, if the space continue this way and no real world applications are running on them, this may be the beginning of the end for most of them

Im using ETH for long term investment because I believe in the potential of Ethereum, and also i believe that in the future can increase up to 10x or more. but i usually use ETH for gas in moving my other alts from my wallet to exchange sites.
I only use eth for investing in ico but the main reason is i use it if i want my transaction to confirmed fast but sometimes there are times that the network is clog. I also invest in eth because i think it will have a huge price in the future. I hope it happens and some of my tokens will have a run too.

This most likely will be true for many of the bounty hunters
Not surprising, but true.
Now, most people try to score wallets with ETH and wait. Most likely this is the right strategy.
And, of course, ETH is the best ICO fuel. But I so long haven't seen worth ICO.

People received what might be conceived as an ‘IOU’ which could qualify as a security. However for that to be seen as such, one would have to establish the value initially payed for the IOU and the value of that IOU at the moment the genesis block was mined and the IOU could be redeemed. Since there was no exchange trading ETH at genesis, I think that’s going to be a difficult case to make.

My thinking to all of this is, since the DAO incident, ETC kept the original chain but not the ETH ticker. While ETH kept the original ticker but forked from the ETC chain, technically ETH never had a crowdsale. ETC if anything, should be the one labeled as a security.

I have plane for using this Ether for all these purposes because without this its very hard to invest in ICO and its good source of income as price is moving up and down very quickly so I can check market daily many times so this could give me good profit and buying tokens is also in my target in near future so I need this also
For long-term investment, because this investment will bring passive income for a long time 
Better to hold ethereum if you are not in emergency case. There is no reason to sell if you still survive your daily needs soundly. Ethereum will become great in it's time destination. Hold and wait for the perfect timing.
if I ETH is very important, if not using ETH we will never be able to take our money, because from token to eth continue to be form of money that is in our ATM

I use eth as trading, because the price is very fast up and down, but I also use it as an investment, because eth is very promising for the future. Then I also use it to buy some coins in ico. So I use eth for all ways, I think if it is advantageous why not.
I am using it for investment purposes and an asset and where it is applicable I use it as a currency to pay for goods and services. Mostly though I am just buying ethereum when the price is low and holding for the long term for the prices to go back up again before I can sell them and take out the profit which I make and then repeat the process all over again.
For the time being, I am waiting for the Ethereum for a long-term perspective. I think that already in this autumn we should expect a significant increase in the rate of the Ethereum
when i get my bounty payments I trade it into eth and I use eth for a long-term investment but if I need some money then I will exchange eth with my currency, but i prefer to hold it and i will sell it when the price reaches $ 2500.
I use eth to participate in ico because it gives more profit . But eth is just as good for holding your fund.
And of course I use eth for trading .
