Most of the time I keep ETH for trading, many exchangers use ETH as a value for a token and in a transaction exchanger using a larger ETH although not all coins, when the market starts unstable and tends to decrease drastically that is where the ETH that I have used as a long term investment, but when the market has started good, ETH that I have used for trading.

ETH is one of my long term investment and also I used this as a Gas for my transaction and transfer token from my digital wallet to exchange site.

Also, Ehtereum is like a middle point in our profit making process, because you need to exchange bounty tokens, or whatever else into Ethereum in order to sell it for your local currency in advance.

For now i used coin is ethereum for trading or buying ico because ethereum is fast trasaction and the fees is very small than the other coin and safe to invest and strong security and secured.

I use ETH mainly for trading, receiving tokens/coins from bounty and buying ICO but not for the long term investment. I've read in other threads that it's not really a good idea to use ETH for long term investments.

ETH is my choice of currency for long term investment. I have a few ETH which I have been holding since few months, never traded those. But if I want I can trade my ETH with Fiat currency and then buy some goods with it. Or if I want to invest in some new coin I can trade my ETH with that coin. These are the few examples of where to ETH and there are plenty more.

For all sorts of exchanges, for me I exchange whatever new tokens I have in my wallet in exchange of ETH. Sometimes I exchange ETH for BTC or sometimes Fiat currency. It depends on the market price mostly.

Main part of usage of Ethereum for me is ICO - here I spend approximately 80% of all eth that I have. Next thing - if I need to make transfer to somebody in fiat equivalent by crypto(for example $100 in btc, eth or bch). I don't like to hold eth - I prefer to hold bitcoin, ethereum is more like instrument for me, like operating tool
