I use ETH like a buffer. I change it to altcoins and back due to daily trading. And also 20% of my long term depo consist of ETH.
You are using ETH very well. ETH is a multi function coin, ETH is great for short and long term trade. especially at this time the price is down then this is a good time to buy it for investment especially long-term investment. because I believe the ETH will return to its peak someday.

I think like most of the people here I am using it for investing in other projects, but one should not forget that most of the ICOs out there are based on Ethereum and are therefore ERC20 tokens. So they will land on your wallet like Myetherwallet. This leads also to the conclusion that most of the people are using their Ethereum just for paying the gas fee in order to transfer their ERC20 token from one wallet to another or to an exchange address or back from an exchange to the personal wallet. I didn't try CryptoKitties yet but I think probably we will see more applications like this where we can use our Ethereum directly as some kind of digital currency.

For me, ETH is something intermediate between fiat money and other altcoins that I want to purchase! And in reverse, of course! It's the most convenient way to deposit and withdraw money and transfer it from one exchange to the other.

I use it in many ways, recently invested in ICO and now hodl it as the price dropped twice. Also I like trading, I set target's and now waiting for them to fulfill my orders. I also use ETH to buy gas, so I could transfer my funds from wallet to exchange. Don't have an opportunity to hodl ETH, as I find it very hard not ot trade and always find myself somewhere to invest or trade For trading

Usually I use my ethereum that I hold for paying some specific fees and commissions, also to transfer it into some ICO tokens when I want to invest, and of course some part of it I hold as a long-term investment
I use Ethereum only to enter for new ICO projects. Sense to invest in Ethereum now is not present - it is so at the top of the pyramid. But with his help to enter into new projects that can yield a lot of profit - this is the most rational decision that any reasonable investor should adhere to!

I use ethereum for trading holding and investing in some ICO's I like to join. Ethereum has a potential altcoin that can be a long-term holding.
I only bought Ethereum to make a good profit. Imagine how disappointed I am. But there is nothing to do but wait for the price to rise.

I am using ethereum for some point in your thread, like to trading ofcourse. To trade ETH into some Alts that i think could become bigger in the near future. For investing into some ICOs too, but not too often. Because of these days ICOs kinda spam each other and become harder to speculate which one could become bigger in the near future.
Im using my eth for long term investment because I believe in Eth I know investing in Eth is very profitable and Eth has a potential even the price of eth now is very cheap i wait when the market goes back
These days I use it frequently to buy services and products online. I Valerie used BTC but now everyone wants ETH.
I am currently using ETH for ico token purchases using its platform. better than holding ETH. As these projects progress, their token prices will also increase, even if the ETH price does not increase. I will never sell my eth until I get a lot of money from it. Ethereum seems to be all used. I think I only use it to invest. I think eth will follow the btc footprint. So I believe that we should invest more into the eth and not just btc. You can invest into some other altcoin as well.
Most of it is used for investment only. But I am also using it these days for paying for online services as many sellers demand it.
