interesting. i don't see why chrome is so popular. i prefer firefox myself.
Whats so difficult in that ? Chrome is popular because its a Google product so no problem in marketing and its arguably one of the best out there..! so Good marketing + Good product ..! bammm you are on top..!

I use Chrome since a couple of years, I love it's minimalistic style and the integration with the google account.

I use Firefox.
I dont like Chrome, it steals my information and use it against me..... through the ads... who knows what else google can do with it?
Just like people steal information about your hair color, height, sex and other variables by just looking at you and remembering what you look like? This has already been discussed.

I use Chrome.
That's a crude oversimplification of it... so, here's another: if it is always the same person and he takes notes of everything you do all day long, you might be dealing with a stalker. Better be careful. Tongue
Yes!
logs everything you do, and if they are creating a database to discover those variables? Android phones are required to enter your google account to use some apps, you take pictures and share or save it. The possibilities are many!
Well, I put the minimum of personal information online, through fakes profiles for chat with friends and such, but the fact that (i.e)Google enjoy all that information is to monetize itself and feed itself by creating a centralized monopoly on search engine, videos and browser services does not good.
Cautions so are normal is normal coming from a forum for people who want to decentralization.  Smiley

Opera should be identified as an option.
It's fast, small, consumes low memory resources, many of its features were copied by other browsers, but still has some of its own, and, since its rarely use, it's safer, because hackers won't lose time looking for any debility.

Opera is nothing else than a Chrome fork now.
