Japan in my mind: doraemon, the beatiful fuji mountain, cherry blossoms and the greatest tsunami disaster in 2011 
First thing that's come to my mind is nice culture, then yakuza, samurai, anime, unique invention and beautiful view.

I think the Japanese are super interesting - the culture is beyond complex, with its rich and conflicted history and fast forward predilection. But somehow they keep it all in balance, and are largely a conscientious and graceful culture. Japan itself is one of the most magical places I have ever been traveled.
All comes into my mind are anime toys, foods with anime packaging, and more anime figurines! I really like anime after all.
My closest friend will go to Japan this coming August 2018.
