Usually those people that chooses luck-based games are there for fun.

The poll results have proven that gambling based on skill is much more favorable than traditional slots which rely on luck.
The reason I prefer skill games is because it is more challenging and makes us think when playing gambling, so indirectly

Why the comparison is between skill based game vs. traditional slot? I think it is better if the vote is skill based game vs luck based game because both type has many type of games. Without a doubt that skill based game will get more votes (big difference) as the other one is one specific type of game (slot). I think the vote result wont have such big difference if the traditional slots is substituted by luck based game. Anyway I do like skill based game such as poker but I voted for traditional slots as I play slots more than any skill based game.

I'm in 23%, I don't like skill-based gambling games because I don't have much time. I play slots to fill empty time while relaxing while taking care of the children at home. adjust your time when you want to play gambling so that other activities are not interrupted.

It is nice to see that 76% like it want to play skilled based games and not just games which are purely based on the luck like slots, dice etc . Cards games are quite popular and fun to play as well were you need to have skills and experience to be ahead in the game .

Everyone has their likes and dislikes, skill games are very fun but as you say you need to dedicate a significant amount of time before you gamble to be competent enough to follow the rules and all the etiquette other players expect from you and if you want to be more than that and have a chance of being profitable in them then you need to dedicate an even greater amount of time to get to that level of skill and most people do not want to do that with their gambling, they just want to get some quick fun and there is nothing wrong with that either.

The game for luck, I think it's just for leisure, because you can't control anything, it's all about luck. But a game in which your experience, knowledge and ability to count can decide the outcome is completely different. Luck can always turn its back on you and this is a factor that you cannot influence in any way.

Unfortunately, all of the above games have an element of luck, even those based on your skill.
Otherwise, the casino would be extremely unprofitable to provide games in which, having achieved a certain skill, the player would only win and almost never lose. It's kind of a gimmick.
