Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
I value both desktop computers and smartphones for their unique benefits. Desktops offer larger screens, making them ideal for activities such as gambling, while smartphones provide portability and the ability to access games on-the-go. Both devices have their own advantages and disadvantages, but together they satisfy my diverse needs.
It’s good if you can have both and both gave you an excitement to gamble.
Since I’m always outside of my home, I prefer more to use my phone for gambling activities since its more convenient and very accessible, I guess this will always depend on your situation since I also gamble using pc when I get home and yeah it gives the same enjoyment same with using my phone.
We can always use what suitable for our time and location , how could you play in desktop if you are in place where it is not allowed or something might go wrong with your laptop comparing to using smaller gadget like mobile?
and like you who always out of Home (maybe in field ) how could we use bigger tools to gamble?
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?

Well its a desktop for me, just like you when playing on smartphones it's really small so I need a hard time enjoying my game and there are a lot of untrusty gambling apps on smartphones. I like the desktop more because the interface suits me rather than the phone one, usually my phone standby if I want to do a deposit on a gambling website.
I think phone is more better because many of us conduct most of our activities with phone and not desktop. For a casino to survival and have consistent traffic, they need to have a good mobile interface so that gamblers will able to use and get accustom to them. This is a world of competition and if you don't do your product well, then be ready to lose your customers.
lol most of us? meaning you are not owning desktop if that is the case lol.

But to be honest, very few popular and reputable casino have their mobile apps, where you can bet on. The reason for less number of apps is due to the strict policy of play store and app store about restricting gambling apps in their stores. For this many gambling sites and casinos do not invest in developing a mobile app. Rather they invest time and effort in making their site or casino, mobile optimised. But to be honest desktop version, looks better and gives more confident to the gamblers while gambling. I would choose desktop version rather than any mobile version for any site.
Yes, the Play Store does not support most of the gambling site. The gambling company offers apps links on their site from which a gambler can safely download the app.  At present, casino games are made useful on mobile or computer, so a gambler is able to continue his gambling program with two devices. Moreover, each casino first try to adopt it to the browser and then they try to make their own apps for clients. However, most gamblers will agree that gambling through a computer is very reliable and comfortable.
It can be unsecure to download the app from the gambling site. I understand that sometimes it is the only opportunity to download the app but it must be named, well-known casino - in the other way the best way to gamble using PC or mobile browser at least. Play Store gives us guarantee(not 100% but it is much better than nothing) that the app is secure and you don`t lose all your private data.

One of the advantages i derived from using the mobile phone in gambling is the fast and easy accesibility to gambling without having challenges with the place i found myself, the comfort and satisfaction with mobile gambling is that you cannot be restricted by any means from gambling, which means while walking, traveling, laying or sitting at any comfort you could experience gambling right from your mobile, because it is easily accessible to use and enjoyed.

it is Mobile mostly , I am a mobile user since I mostly spend my day outside my comfort zone meaning not in my house( work related) so the chance of playing in my desktop happens very few than my Mobile.
but I am not installing any Gambling Apps instead i only play directly in internet.
Same here i'm often out because of work. So when I gamble, usually i'm using my phone. Moreover I also don't install the app of the casino (I tried it before but it makes my phone work slow), I prefer to use a browser as well. Sometimes it made my eyes hurts because of the small screen but it's tolerable and if it happened I immediately stop. For me this is one of the disadvantage of using a mobile phone. But despite that I still prefer to use it because I can easily carry and I can gamble anywhere.

yes, of course, people who work outside the home, of course, playing on a cell phone is much more comfortable than playing on a laptop because it won't be safe, it also makes it complicated, cell phones are a convenience for people to be able to play casino anywhere, even in the toilet.  Grin

and more safer I guess? some of my friends keep saying it is safer in desk top than mobile but I find it in question still.

I would normally say that there is a wider level of threats for a standard desktop running windows. However in a world where cybersecurity is generally low and new threats are evolving by the day, I would not be surprised if I am wrong in saying that a non-windows desktop is safer than a mobile phone using android/apple software. This would be a good topic of discussion in the cybersecurity board if it is ever added (For those interested in supporting that board, I made a request here).

How about if you are traveling, will you travel with your desktop? or will you quit gambling or playing your favorite game until you are back from travel?
Well, aside the fact that desktop is not a device to move around with, I believe majority of us will still prefer to play on our desktops, but the reason why we still cannot rule out the importance of our smart phones is for their compatibility and adaptivity, when on the go or in transit, you can still gamble/play your games through your mobile phone, some thing not possible to do with a desktop, I personally can remember several times I've been on the road and gambling through my phone, infact, gambling is even more fun when we do it while on a long journey to somewhere.

If our internet provider blocks access to the casino, we don't need to try to access it using a mobile device, laptop, or PC. That is because the internet provider will know, and they can easily track our activity and submit it to the regulators. If so, it will make us bother and could get into trouble. But with the internet and various kinds of tools that we can use, such as VPNs, we can use VPNs to help access sites blocked by the government so those who use mobile devices can also access casino sites easily. If that's the case, people who access casino sites will feel more comfortable playing gambling because I also feel it Grin
By using a VPN, we can easily access sites that have been blocked by the government and it will be difficult for them to track activity on the cellphone or PC that we are using.
However, what raises a few questions and doubts about account security at casinos is that there are several casino sites that prohibit users from accessing their sites by activating a VPN.
I don't know why I don't really understand, but that's exactly what happened and I myself have asked several people who still have work to do with the site. He also couldn't give a definite answer and instead asked me to ask the management team directly. be responsible with that casino site.
It is true that some casinos do not allow users to access their sites by enabling a VPN. They must have their own reasons we don't know about, so it's only natural that casinos prohibit their users from using VPNs. Perhaps, we can look for other casinos that allow us to use VPN, so we don't break the rules.
It seems easy to find other casinos that allow their users to access the site by enabling a VPN.
But it's not certain that the casino can be trusted and is appropriate for us to use as our gambling platform.
However, I personally prefer to change or set up the browser DNS on my phone instead of activating a VPN to access gambling platforms and I would choose that way instead of having to find and use another casino that allows users to activate VPN but these casinos cannot be trusted and have poor service to every user.
If you prefer to find another casino, that is your right, but don't lose money just because you chose the wrong casino site.
Yes, it's easy, but it depends on our desire to read the rules of the casino because many gamblers still don't want to take the time to understand the rules in the casino. Thus, we can avoid breaking the rules of the casino and will not experience any problems. But many gamblers prefer enabling VPN instead of setting up the browser DNS on their devices because many don't know how to set it up. That's okay too, because the most important thing for them is that they can play in the casino in their own way, and as long as they don't break the casino rules, they will enjoy it.
Your statement is also true, because every gambler must have different ways and conveniences in playing, of course.
The most important point is that they don't break the rules set by the casino, so you don't have to worry about anything while playing.
Whether they use a VPN or change the DNS on the browser is their right, but I'm sure those who choose to use a VPN because they don't know how to change DNS and they are used to using a VPN to access certain sites that are prohibited by the government.

For me also I am outside most of the time so gambling on mobile devices seems easy to me rather then using the word comfortable here because big screen has some advantages of its own but yes browser based casinos are good instead of any apps. But on weekends when I am home my choice for gambling is desktop so enjoy both the version having experience on them.

My choice depends on what game do I play, for example I'll just bet on NBA or in Esports game; then I prefer to bet using my phone but If I'll play table games like Bacarrat then I prefer to use desktop because web design is more pleasing and more comfortable to my eyes. When it comes to slots, I'm good either in desktop or in phone.
something like mine mate , I often use mobile when sports betting is involved but when luck base game or card games? yeah I prefer Personal computer for more good looks and not irritating in my eyes.

I don't speak for everybody but I think most that prefer to play from their mobile phones are likely doing so on the go or simply don't have the access to a pc.
Btw the desktop experience is by far the best as  information on the screen isn't all clustered as on a phone and certain features can be enjoyed here... One bookie have have tried actually has more cashout features on web view than on phones which has made me to always prefer the desktop experience not to miss out on such features !
The raise on the price of smartphones has forced people to take a choice, they either buy a smartphone, a laptop or a PC, and for most people the choice is obvious, they are going to prefer to buy a smartphone as it is way more portable and flexible than both a PC or a laptop, but when it comes to the overall experience a desktop computer should always top a smartphone, unfortunately for those with limited resources desktop computers are becoming a luxury item.

with a larger display it seems to give us a sense of satisfaction because in seeing it it doesn't focus too much on the small screen. so that it will ease the performance of our brains to carry out activities. On the other hand, using a cell phone is more susceptible to eye disease because it has more radiation than using a desktop, so it makes us more dizzy. but it is undeniable that many people also use smartphones for reasons that are more practical to carry wherever they are

Vpns could also be used in mobile phones if you only know how to use it properly.

It's simple as desktops on mobile phones too, plenty vpn apps available in Google/ios stores. If you want vpn that only works within browsers then use extension supported browsers like kiwi/lemur/mises on android and orion on ios.

<...>

-It is better to view a site on desktop mode and if a casino has a mobile version it should be used only for convenience and not as a priority.

That sounds bullshit, how does that work?
I have never used that before but I am aware that some players use VPN to bypass restrictions and there are some mobile browsers with VPN extensions so playing the casino using such a browser may also lead to troubles unless the player is using it intentionally and he should be ready for Whatever the outcome of this action will be. But it is best to access casinos using your original Ip in case of verification especially when gambling on centralized casinos with a license.

I agree using the web version of the casino while there is already a mobile version sounds bs to me too.  there is VPN apps that reroute the internet connection of all application run in the mobile phone so there is no need to run a web version of that VPN.  But if you are saying to have a desktop-like feel on the mobile browsers then yes, we can enable a desktop version of the web application on the phone and I think it also has the same function on desktop browser where we can turn on a mobile version of the website if it is available.
