We're the same dude, I'm more comfortable and I'm quite happy when I'm using a desktop to gamble here in cryptocurrency. Not because I'm used to it, but because for me, my heart is light and my mind is peaceful when I play gambling here.

Then I never gambled with my mobile device because I knew that I wouldn't be happy if I did it, so I only learned to gamble with cryptocurrency and I don't regret it.

So it all bail down to desktop for home use and mobile phones for outdoor use, this is for conveniences sake. Just as some other members here have pointed out, the ease of mobility is what increase the ratio of mobile phone usage for gaming, if not ordinary and traditionally, desktop/laptop and other bigger devices with screen size of 14 inch and above is what is know for playing games, mobile devices are only used for exceptional cases.

That time you are talking about is here already, we have tablets and iPad of different screen sizes, even ones with 14 inch screen size which is the normal screen size of a standard computer, and this devices offer outstanding graphics too, and some of them also comes with plenty of memory and RAM to make sure one never experience any form of lag while gaming, be it a normal mobile gaming or casino gaming/gambling..

It really depends on the purpose as they are two (2) completely different devices for different platforms.

Generally for computer-related tasks, the desktop is well-suitable for the job. If you have sheets and documents to create, then the computer is the way to go. But for things that can be done in both PC and the mobile device, then I would prefer to use the latter.

For example, nowadays, online gambling websites have integrated a desktop-friendly approach where the interface and UI is optimized on your device. This means that you can gamble easily using your mobile phone without having to sacrifice any accessibility and buttons. Before, I used to gamble using my mobile phone due to its accessibility and convenience.

Well, the UI in phone is really more convenient or djusted unless you're used of playing on the computer. You may use desktop view on your browser to somehow have that feeling of playing on your computer but I'd respect if people would prefer the other way around. On my end, playing on my phone is more convenient because of accessibility ofcoure. I am just playing nowadays on sportsbetting so I think it works for me, not quite sure with other gambling games which I think would be the bottomline to whether it is a better gambling experience in PC over playing mobile. But as I have read on this topic, many are into playing in phone which also gave me the idea that many players in this industry are really maximizing online platform to gamble for the reason of convenience.

My choice depends on what game do I play, for example I'll just bet on NBA or in Esports game; then I prefer to bet using my phone but If I'll play table games like Bacarrat then I prefer to use desktop because web design is more pleasing and more comfortable to my eyes. When it comes to slots, I'm good either in desktop or in phone.

I know some people who really prefer to play in desktop and not in phone because they said that there is different excitement when they are playing in desktop with huge monitor than playing in phone where the screen is small.

Desktop too, no questions.
Easy access to everything, if you want to open something in a new tab you just click it unlike on a smartphone you have to hold it and pick the option.
Also when it comes to reading, I am having a hard time with small letters although my vision is still as clear as when I was young. Zooming it in is a hassle then there's the chance of making a mistake if you are betting.
I've tried Stake.com on my phone before, but I didn't like it. I'd just use it only if I don't have access with my desktop but that had not happened yet as I try to put my bets as early as possible if the line is available.

People that are used to computers will use computers, but did you people know that phone web browsers now are also perfect for gambling.
