I normally don't sell but i don't know about you because it totally depends on the person for how much
is he investing for does he want any sort of profit in the short term or long. For now if you see there is
a steady growth in the price so it is better to hold but when you see the price suddenly go up like 300$
in 1-3 days then that is the best time to sell and wait for the price to come down and then purchase again.

The price of BTC will not dump again according to the source given to me by my mentor. So hold on to your Bitcoin, by the end of 2017 the price of 1BTC is $3,000 dollar.
It is hard to find that believable, I personally don’t trust anyone when it comes to the price of the bitcoin I just look at it at my own prospective and decide what is best, and if the price is good enough for me or not.

My friends call me crazy cause I am not doing anything about it. Funny thing is they are more scared than me, when I am the one holding it.
That must be the real situation of one hard core lover of bitcoin systems. They will not bother about the price levels of bitcoins whether it is standing up or falling down nothing matters to them. The only thing for them must be keeping checking on adoption rates of bitcoins by both merchants and individuals. Because, when we are having main stream adoptiuon we can start using bitcoins similar to fiats, then we never need to worry about prices of bitcoins.

Hi,

I'd like to know what do you think is a good strategy when BTC price shoots up and you feel it's going to come down again.
- hold on to your Bitcoin?
- Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again cheaper?
- Sell it for other crypto (in this case which would you choose)?

I just tell them it will still go up more and they would contradict me even if they knew not that much about it. It's fun having some people around you that cares although they dont want to join because of the risk even if they see my investment bloating.  Grin
Patience is needed now, maybe demands are shooting up also. So if we hold then price might go up.

What i do when the price shoots up i think is also done by other people. I convert some bitcoin to cover up some of my bills and buy something nice. I do want something from what I am working with. Though still trying my best to save for another price rises..

When BTC shoots up, I will convert the BTC to USD then wait for the price to go dip to buy more Bitcoin.  In short I will short my trade.  It maybe risky but  we often have idea when will the BTC take its price decline.  One example is an abnormal raise in price is followed by a sudden dip in price.  Bubble bursting.
Nowadays no one have to do that mistake because the price will not go back but is increasing and will increase for longer term so anyone who will sell now will not get any bitcoin at the current price or lower than this but they will get them at more higher price.
yes that is right to say everyone is expecting that the price of bitcoin can grow more therefore no one is ready to sell their bitcoin. and every one is trying their best to hold their bitcoin for the price increase. to me i myself holding  bitcoin for a long time and still not ready to hld my bitcoin in any case hope the price will very soon cross 2000 USD level.

Sometimes i also do short trades in bitcoin because for me it is better to secure our profits rather than wait for the right time for us to sell because if we stick on that then the right time will be far because we will always do procrastination which will result for passing the right time to buy or sell. So if the bitcoin shoots up, I sell and wait for the price to get lower a little bit then i will do buy ins and hodl it for a few days.

I would definitely sell\convert convert it into USD.
Has you kept a school kept a poll you would have seen more than 50% people voting for converting it into USD.
The major cause for  this would be because when ever the price of Bitcoins will shoot up , most of the people will convert their Bitcoins into fiat,
leading to the fall of price of bitcoins .
So i would recommend you to convert them into fiat and then buy bitcoins with that amount and then use some part of it( eg 20-30%)
to buy more bitcoins.
Repeat this process and one day you will have a good amount of BTC.
and by bitcoins i mean a lot of money.
Thanks

Nowadays I am seeing that the price of bitcoin will increasing to more than $1000 and the decrease down everyone sometimes worry about the situation but I do not worry and do not sell my coins because I know that this situation will continue for some weeks or maybe be a month or two and after that the price of bitcoin will start to increase with highest speed and will reach to nearly $2000.

That depends on the situation, and on the way Bitcoin goes up in value. If the price increase occurred quickly, and as a result of a lof of hype, I would probably sell it, as this is a sign that the odds are higher that the price will fall soon. If the price increase is a result of high demand and organic growth, prices are likely to remain stable at this level or go up even more, but every situation is different, and there may be a possibility of a price drop.

Nothing, I just let it be and do a little celebration since I know that there is a bigger opportunity and a larger profit waiting at the end of the spectrum. Sometimes, I offload some of my coins just to have some profit claiming especially when I bought coins from $500-700 ranges. Not a greedy bastard but reall, good things comes to those who wait.

If the bitcoin price shoots up, I will sell all my bitcoin, then I take advantage on altcoin and buying at cheap prices. because when bitcoin prices rise, the price of the altcoin will down.
same here when bitcoin price shoots up i will also sell my all bitcoin with good price and then i will try to buy more bitcoins with low price and i think its very profitable and good way to make regular money through bitcoin.

but i am still not going to sell my bitcoin. because i even do not sell my bitcoins in the previous day when the price cross 1150 USD and then the price fell down and still did not sell it gain when the price again touches 1080 USD and once again the price fell down to 940 and now again the price is trading above 960 but still i have no intention to sell my bitcoin, i have to stay for next few months the the price will cross 1500 USD may be after that i will start thinking about selling my bitcoins.

If the bitcoin shoots up. I probably choose to hold bitcoins. I don't believe that bitcoin will be came down again because I know when its start to increase it will continue. Then if I need a dollar to buy my needs I will sell it into dollars so that I can buy what I want. So I choose 1 and 2.

Obviously sell it / convert it into USD.
Like if you would have kept a poll you would have seen more than 50% people voting for converting it into USD.
The reason behind it is that , when ever the price of Bitcoins will shoot up , most of the people will convert their Bitcoins into their currency,
leading to the fall of price of bitcoins .
So i would recommend you to convert them into your currency and then buy bitcoins with that amount and then use 10%  or 20% of that amount
to buy more bitcoins.
Continue this process and one day you will have a lot of bitcoins
and by bitcoins i mean a lot of money.
Thanks
Good strategy, I think sell bitcoin when the price shot up is the right decision, when all people fo panic selling the price of it will be down. So when we have more money we can get more bitcoin.

We will see over $1000 in a short time, and that's the right time for sell our bitcoin. I didn't hate panic selling, but I hate the fake news. Look back at early January.
That price occurred a few days ago and at that time I did not sold my coins because I know that the price of bitcoin will increase more higher in the coming months and at that value I will get a high profit with my investment in bitcoin and when I will sell now then I will not get much profit so I am waitng for more longer.

If the Bitcoin Price Really Shoots Up Today then I Will Sell My Bitcoins For Cash and Then I Will Take the Profit I Got From Selling My Bitcoins On a Higher Price and Then Use the Another Remaining Money to Buy Other Altcoin to Trade Or I Will Wait for the Bitcoin Price to Decrease and then Again I Will Buy Bitcoins.....

Yes. Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again when its cheaper again. Its not as complicated as it sound but that's what most of the traders do. Its the safest pair to invest every time people are going to dump btc. Its always a good time to buy again or for some they buy some altcoins because by the time BTc rise, ALTcoins also turn cheap and then once again when btc starts to pump up, they buy BTC again. Its the cycle of life. Smiley
