My idle coins currently do... Nothing really. There are no good investments for them right now, and they can't really develop any more value aside from sitting there and watching the value go up.

Maybe I'll start lending them, but there hasn't been any legitimate means of investing them yet. Maybe I'll find one soon.

use your idle coins in altcoin trading. buy etherium or Raiblocks and hold them for some time and sell them again when price increase. and you can use your idle coins in gambling also. if your luck helps you, you'll win more money from them. there are thousands of ways to use idle coins, just need to do a little research.
i just hold my idle coins and wait for price increase before, few weeks back i used it for gambling and am  unlucky i lost few of my coins. now I don't have any idea to invest my coins anywhere let me hold them and earn the profits when price rise.

If you are using it for gambling then those are not your idle coins, atleast you are utilizing it somewhere, but do not spend on gambling its better to hold till the time of halving.

I just let my coins sit in my wallet when I am not using them.  I have tried several things and all in all have been scammed by cloud mining, so I tend to stay away from things so I don't lose anymore coins.
Yeah like me i just let my bitcoin in my wallet because i dont want to use them like investing in hyips even if they promising a high profit. Because they all the same they want to scammed only many bitcoin user so that they can earn more bitcoin in easy ways. But now i am using my bitcoin in trading because in trading theres no scammers there, you can secre your money there while earning it.

I have started experimenting with services like magnr.com to see if I can make some interest with margin lending

Hi Divinespark, you may want to look through this discussion regarding margin lending with Poloniex. A potentially good option to explore: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/btc-lending-market-poloniex-discussion-1153361

I just let them be at the moment, while waiting for a substantial price movement. One can't be blamed for doing the waiting game, as the halving period (as they say) is about to come. Although I'm reading a lot of hyping being done as to what effect halving would have on the price, I'll just sit back and enjoy the show.

What if nothing happens by halving? Or even if the price goes down?

Since I'm not holding that much, I can risk it going even lower than $350 and still hold on to it. The idea is to wait for a long time, and to buy when it dips. Sort of a cost averaging method. No matter which way the price, one must have a good entry and exit strategy to avoid losing sleep over lost opportunities to buy or sell.

We can all hold most of the coins and wait for the price rise. In the mean time, we also need to promote bitcoin.

Hello guys I have been out of the loop of cloud mining for a while but I would like to get back in the game just for fun nothing serious and I would be happy with whatever profit I could turn in. I have been checking out Genesis Mining because they have alt coin mining like ETH and X11 coins. Has anyone used their service and did you make any profit and how long did it take? I saw they offer Lifetime Bitcoin mining but I think this is just a gimmick.

I have just in small amount from cloud mining service, will store them for some period and see what will happen

Can you suggest which is the best cloud mining service at a moment? As I don't see any genuine sites at a moment, every site seems to be ponzi.

That is because they are ponzi's/scams.

The only legit one is hashnest, but even with hashnest you will be bleeding money. The thing is that cloud mining hasn't been profitable in a long while.

Do not invest in any cloud mining as it will not survive in a long run, and they will run away with your hard earned coins, its good to hold till the halving.

Absolutely its better to hold till the days of halving. After halving you can decide whether to go on mining or cloud mining. Cloud mining needs long run to be a trusted profit provider.

In this moment my bitcoin amount is ridiculous, so I only can store it and work hardly in order to increase my bitcoins. When I have the enough amount of bitcoin I would invest it in a reliable forex broker accepting bitcoins to carry out my financial transaction, because i have realized that it is one of the best ways to massively increase your money.
