Actually, if my idle coin have potential to increase the price and more worthy i will keep to sell. But if the idle coin is goes down i will leave them slowly.

You need to have patience mate, just hold it for next couple of months and don't be in hurry to sell it even if the price drops, as if price falls today it will again rise tomorrow.

a few months are nothing when it comes to investments. with stocks, people are holding them in their portfolio for a full year and get very happy when they made a profit of 10% while people here don't even get happy when they make 10% profit in just a few weeks time. there is barely any patience with the current yolo investors. quick profits is all they care about.

I have some coins idling around in my wallet but I cannot bear to put it in hyip or risk it. But it is a waste to let it idle around. Yes. I have coins in some "lower risk" hyips to generate some interest which I'm prepared to write off. I also have some coins converted to hashing power in hashnest and BW.com but it has to be monitored else you will suffer a loss instead.  Grin

Unlike fiat currencies, I cannot park these coins into banks backed by governmental institutions. I put my fiat currencies in banks or blue chips but I cannot do it with cryptos.

So, what do you do with your idle coins? Let it sit around?

i just let them to stay in my wallet and wait for price rise, would be dumb to gamble( and probably lose them) them or so, i like to see more and more money in my wallet then price rises, so i won't change that and i will keep my idle bitcoins for longer, maybe i will keep them for some time and will sell them only if price will go to 1000$

If you are to sell only at the price tag of $1000, you need to have lot patience if it doesn't happen in the month of halving.

$1k value is not easy to achieve and I think it will take a long time to reach there, as price is stable at a moment and I think we might see this value at the end of the year.

Truly $1000 is highly not possible in a short time. Even to achieve by the end of this year at least the price needs reach $600 after the time of halving.

I use it for trading.
I can't hold to see my bitcoin stay still, I should work it by doing trading, so I could make some money with it.

i think that it is pretty easy to understand what i do with my idle coins, i just keep them in my bitcoin wallet, because this way i get profit time by time from them, also if  i would sue them i might lose because of trading or gambling, but because i keep them there, i am safe that i won't lose them anytime soon

There should't be idle coins, investing, trading is a much better option. Anythingw that willw make them "move" and make use of it.
thats true, if you want to make some good money then you have to work with it hard trying new trading strategies or just buying stuff from time to time, thats surely better

i dont have any idle coins just now, i used to hold it as i expected high returns though i decided to do some trading with it, unfortunately i have lost it in the process
If you are not experienced means don't invest everything in trading, you can loss like now. Invest some amount because it is riskier, try some other ways to increase your profit. Once you get experienced go for trading.

I honestly do nothing with my idle bitcoins, I just hold them for a while till I can make profit with them by selling them.
Most likely I will hold my idle coins till the end of the year to consider to sell them because of the halving that will let the price rise most likely.

Exactly! Why not? There is no such thing as idle coins IMO. If you put your idle coins in your wallet and do it again and again you'll probably have a nice amount after some time.

I don't thin that its good to keep your coins idle as if you don't spend it on regular basis then it won't be profitable enough in future.

Well almost all the altcoins i have since i earn for free all days at yobit ,i put the orders to get sold a bit above the current value,on the last month someone pumped two of them and i miss the party to make around 5 to 10x the ammount i had from that ,but well i didnt lost nothing.

These coins are only saying at their wallet and waiting to be spent when the price gets higher than now
Sometimes i may trade in alt coins but again i trade to bitcoin but only when i have free time.

Perhaps can consider exchanging some of the idle coins for ether. But ether wallet looks like cumbersome to set up.

nah, i don't think that is such a good idea. ether has droped so badly these past days and it is highly possible that it continues this way.

Investing in any of the alts is never a good idea. They are so manipulated due to their lower market cap. that it's just bare luck to profit on them.
I would rather store my coins safely, and let time do it's thing. 1 or 2 halvings later, you will have profit of multiple folds.

yeah, i have withdrawn all my money from it back to bitcoins because it went down, i guess it shows that the only right currency is bitcoin and it will be always the best

i dont do with my idle coins anything though i dont have a lot of it to be honest so i have nothing to hold at the moment because i buy a lot of stuff during the last few days
