I would definitely prefer BTC, although do believe in ethereum and support it

Why not have both? I don't really see them as competitors because I think both bring different things to the table, and are both good options right now. Bitcoin for me, is the best option for store of value and for payments (at least as soon as the Lightning Network gets operational). So for me bitcoin is more related to a currency and to investments. Ethereum looks like a great option to support other investments and other companies through the form of ICOs. Apparently they seem to be giving an important step towards the financial market as well with K-Snark, and Zero Knowledge proofs being implemented on the network and enabling both anonymity and immutability, that is crucial for the trading business.
I use both BTC and ETH. But I think that ETH is something completely different and can not be compared with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is best for long-term investment. But ETH is the world's best crypto currency after Bitcoin.
well i dont like them both, they are too expensive for me now XD
I think both ethereum and bitcoin will do a great job in the long run.

I use both of them have a good potential, but now I prefer bitcoin because the price more stable than ethereum. I used ethereum just for hold ERC20 tokens. I don't think will invest on ethereum in the near future
Since BTC always remains number one so I prefer BTC.it is very good coin and is used globally.it is fundamentally strong g coin
Everything depends on what you ask, because in terms of use, at this point I much prefer ETH - it is faster and has a much smaller fee. However, in my opinion, the price of BTC will grow faster, so as an investment I prefer BTC.
They have different functions from one another: one is a store of value while the other one is a platform for creating tokens. So comparing them in general is pointless. If you perhaps meant to compare them in terms of scalability or profit investment-wise, you could easily pick btc on the former and latter.
BTC and ETH are too different to be compared imho.
i use both coins, eth gives me a good income, but i prefer to use BTC that give me a profitable income. at this point btc raise again so its better to use for now a days.

I still prefer Bitcoin investment over Ethereum. But I don't really have to choose between the two. I am always making sure that I am holding some ETH as well as BTC at the same time. Updates should not be taken as something that we should be afraid or worried of. These are designed to make progress.
BTC is more stable but I see ETH as having a greater growth potential in the long term. The alliance and relationship with major banks may see the tech more widely adopted (not the coin), but this will hopefully have a knock on effect.
I own them both, and I'm happy with both. For security I'd go BTC, for growth potential I still think ETH can go much further.

The reason mainly why i like ETH is because the fast transaction time
The transaction time is just too fast especially if you are looking to cash out when you have both btc and ETH
Most network requires 1-3 confirmation for safe purpose

They are both excellent to get and will continue to grow but I prefer ethereum and expect it to grow considerably in value in the future. Right now it is speculative but as the ICO smartcontract projects get completed it will become more valuable because ethereum is the power that drives the whole blockchain and demand will increase.
I prefer BTC on ETH because bitcoin is base currency in crypto market and first choice for every investor if he want to enter crypto market. ETH is second preference but it also have in your portfolio due to many ICO issue ERC20 tokens and it require payment mode as ETH.

I prefer Etherium for short term investments and Bitcoin for long term investments. Both are considered to be good as an investment or asset because the profit are huge from investing into each of it. I prefer Bitcoin more because of its much larger market value compared to ETH since its market price increases and as it increase, the profit also increases.
I'll keep my loyalty to bitcoins. Ethereum is a good investment because it's whitepaper tells us how useful it is for creating a token representing an asset, however, I don't like it when the government interferes with a cryptocurrency - in Ethereum's case, I am not comfortable with Vitalik discussing many things with Vlad, that's why I choose bitcoins over anything else.
It's true that so many people say that ETH was having a potential on its price that could soaring high till further exceed the BTC price. But for me personally still more prefer to BTC, and ETH as second rank for me.. it's not easy for me to moving out from the prefer.. from BTC to another coins. And i'm still convinced that BTC will remain the highest on its value than Altcoins including ETH.
ethereum is a very good altcoin and it is certainly a tremendous prospect. but what is here is bitcoin, bitcoin is too far developed and I think bitcoin is still the best.
