For the ripple it's good decision because you're not losing money, when it's time you'll definitely earn a big deal. There has been a lot of success in the ripple. So do not take two minds.
In general, despite that the price of Ripple is very low (less than $ 0.6) compared to other cryptocurrencies but this currency has a great characteristic which is the highest value of market cap (more than 20 Billion Dollars) and the something about the value of circulating supply. Furthermore, due to the price of XRP in decline, so this certainly an appropriate period to buy a huge amount of this currency, and IMO Ripple is the best profitable cyryptocurrency in the long term (more than 6 months, and even years).
On the other hand, I expect that the price of Ripple will increase to more than $1 after a few weeks ( 1-3 ) especially when Bitcoin will back to the rise with an acceptable value ( more than $ 10 K ).

As my knowledge, Ripple is the only token which apply in the real bank system. I think it can become the main role in bank system and improve the disavantage in the existing bank. It will replace the role of many traditional ways.
In any case, this project makes it possible to really link the crypto currency to the banking system, perhaps in this way the banking system will be able to influence the users of crypto currency. 
Ripple is the high potential and promising coins in the coinmarketcap. And also it is one of the top ten coins in the coinmarketcap. The value of Ripple is very low now. Now there is no significant growth for this coin. But it is used in real bank system. It gives more valuable to this coin. In future it has a chance to increase its price. So just buy this coin now and hold it for future. It is good for long term investment.
I thought that ripple will get a little pump (in past) and it done it, nowadays it has a down and for me it will surprise us more than once in future with its value, so i believe that it could bring some profits and investing could be a nice move.

if you want to do an investment for a long time you can use ripple. although the price still low, but it will grow up in the future. this is a good coin for investment.
Guys, don't buy Ripple: XRP has enormous supply, it is completely centralised, Ripple has the ability even to roll back your transaction if they are suspicious about something (similar to banks). Ripple's token "XRP" has nothing to do with Ripple techology. If you believe that banks will rush to buy XRP - they will not!!! Ripple is not cryptocurrency, it's nothing!
