Have seen a lot of threads talking about the bull market, and everyone making comments.
I don't think selling all bitcoin in the bull market is a good idea. Why? Knowing the fact that the next bull price will still come as bitcoin continues to grow, so I don't think selling all my bitcoin in the bull market is the best.
Everyone is holdle bitcoin in the bear market and planning to sell in the bull market, now, when finally, the bull market  comes should I sell all my bitcoins and prepare to accumulate from afresh in the next bear market again? or should I keep some percentage to continue the accumulation?

Actually for now selling is not the best option. The bull is yet to come but you use the opportunity to trade and make more profits. If you don’t have much knowledge of the volatile market you can use exchange like Bitget to copy trade from elite traders.

I take a methodical approach using cost averaging to steadily accumulate assets. This strategy allows for a gradual profit-taking process, ensuring that I sell at a favorable price, thereby maximizing profits and minimizing the impact of market fluctuations. My goal is to practice patience and discipline, ultimately making wise investment decisions while minimizing potential risks.

If you don't have confidence in the asset you're holding, don't waste time prolonging it; you should sell it now. It's that simple to do. If you are just holding your crypto or bitcoin assets long-term without knowing the reason because you just heard from your acquaintances, I think you should sell them.

But if you believe that it can provide you with the time or during the bull run or halving, there is no reason for you to sell it now; continue believing that it will provide you with a good profit in the future. Good luck...
The question is whether you should sell or hold during the bull run because many people sell everything they have during the bull run but some prefer to hold some of their assets for the future just in case the prices keep going up or even if they don't, there will be another bull run after some years and one can sell them then. I personally think that not selling your assets when you are getting a good price and getting very good profits isn't a wise decision.

The reason for that is the market is highly unpredictable and we all know that. So, what if you don't sell them and the market crashes within a month or so? That's when you will regret your decision because if you had sold them all, you could buy cheaper now when the market is down. However, there can be positives of holding too, like if the market goes higher than where you might sell them, you would get more profits if you keep holding them.

I'm not included because I don't want to hold my bitcoins for life because after all I also have to enjoy life and the returns from the investments I make so I'm not going to hold bitcoins for life with what I invest in. But on the other hand in this case it does not mean that I will also sell all bitcoins just because bullish hype is happening because this is too hasty if it is immediately forced to sell in the current conditions.
I have a strategy and goals for what I will do in bitcoin and that goal is not for life but the profit target I want to achieve. As long as I still can't touch the profit target, why do I sell bitcoin but on the other hand when the target has been exceeded I will clearly sell my bitcoin because it is a form of appreciation to myself for the investment I made.
It seems to me that it makes sense to take at least part of the profit in a bull market in order to diversify your investments. It is possible that you will be hard pressed to find a more attractive investment than Bitcoin and that will be fine, but even so, taking profits in a bull market will give you the opportunity to buy even more Bitcoin in a bear market.

I assume that there will be those who will not want to sell Bitcoin but will simply continue to hold it further, and they will be ready to wait for another bear and bull market no matter what.
Taking partial profit when the market is bullish is good choice. This will help us have a compensated profit making access as the market keeps varying. It is always good to keep hold of bitcoin, but there needs to be some target fixed so that it will be easier for maintaining the portfolio.

Whenever the market moves high we tend to sell and buy when the market turns bearish. This is common, however we don't know the to what extent will the price increase happens. As an average bitcoin hodler my choice of selling is not in connection with the price, but based on the requirement.

Everything now depends on how you plan for it, because you are the one who takes the decision to buy Bitcoin, therefore you can do whatever you want now that the Bitcoin market is bull. Some people who buy Bitcoin do not intend to keep it for a long period. When they notice that the market has turned bullish, they will sell all of their bitcoin, which is not smart move.

In my opinion, it is not advisable to sell all of your Bitcoin at current price since you might regret it if you sell it now and want to build it up again later. What if, after selling all of your Bitcoin, the market remains bullish? How will you accumulate? That is why it is very important to have better plans for yourself when it comes to investing, because you won't do so if you lack of confidence. Any business in this life may yield a bigger profit at times and a lower profit at others. Sometimes, you must sometimes take risks in order to succeed.

That is your choice but saying disferivization especially it is still within the scope of crypto I also will not do that because for me the best investment in cryptocurrency remains bitcoin so why force a big risk in altcoin or shitcoin if in the end it will only make a headache and I will still be in bitcoin as the only investment.
For a bull market as long as it becomes my profit target then I will exit but if in the end my target has not been met I will still hold because my goal is not at this price to stop so I will not do anything to try to sell my portopolio.
I have tasted the sweetness of selling bitcoin at $60k after my long investment a few years earlier so for now obviously the target is higher than that so the current price in my opinion is not too suitable for myself to exit because my target is not at $30k but greater than $60k.
Even though it's definitely a longer wait but I'm quite comfortable with holding that so I don't want to bother with taking temporary profits because I have a longer target than this.

Everyone comes with the goal of making a profit albeit in different ways but overall their goal is the same only one is profit. As you said, if indeed the market is bulish or in the sense that it is in our favor then I agree there is nothing wrong for us to sell some of the bitcoins we have as an act of diversification, the key is as long as you sell when the price is far above your purchase, it's not bad and the rest for the bitcoins that you still hold you can wait until the target you have set before is reached. And also yes, the profit from the sale can be turned back by the way you wait for the next bearish moment and buy with the proceeds of the sale at the previous time, then surely future profits will multiply.

I think all methods look quite good if we stick to our plans, if indeed you or they prefer to continue to hold it because they are very confident about something in the future, then go ahead as long as you think it is good enough to do.

It depends on your plan before investing in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. However, some investors have the plan of accumulating bitcoin just to hodl till the bull market comes and then sell because you know everybody is doing business to get profit, not to lose, so some people get excited when the bull market arrives and then sell all their accumulated coins at that time.  So I think it will be based on what you decide for yourself. As an investor, you know what will favour you. You are not expecting another person to come and advise or guide you on how you will get profit from your investment. You need to know since you are the one who knows how much you use when buying bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, so obviously you will be the one to decide whether to sell all your investments or leave them small.

If you ever achieve your retirement plan by the time you have to sell all of your Bitcoin, why not? You don't have to wait for any other bull runs and bear markets to experience if you can do it soon. But that's just the other thought when you are looking for reasons why you have to sell all that you have got. Because the majority of us won't really have to sell at all with as much as they can. We all know that there's a huge future and potential for Bitcoin and that's making us not want to sell at any moment. With all of the markets that we've been in and the experiences added together. We don't want to miss the better opportunity that's coming in the future. But even with that reasoning, you can always sell and buy at the same time but you only need to make sure that you sell at high and you buy at low, not the opposite of it because that's what many holders and investors are doing, they're doing it the opposite way and there's FOMO with that thought of theirs of not missing what's currently hot in the market.

Everyone's going to be holding their bitcoins for dear life once the bull run comes in hopes of actually earning more by biding their time. That's how it has worked out in the past and that's how it will work out now. There won't be any reinventing of the wheel that will happen here.
I'm not included because I don't want to hold my bitcoins for life because after all I also have to enjoy life and the returns from the investments I make so I'm not going to hold bitcoins for life with what I invest in. I don't think selling all bitcoin in the bull market is a good idea.
The decision is a personal decision that only the investor can decide on what to do with his/her bitcoins. Everyone has his plans and before investing you should also have your plan on how to do with your bitcoin whenever the market is going upwards or downwards or did you just invest in bitcoin because you see everyone investing or did you invest for a different reason? Only you can decide on what to do with it. We are all aware that bitcoin has the potential to keep growing especially after it’s halving so you would want to be careful not to end up selling all your bitcoins because buying back might cost you more. You just need to understand and make plans for yourself, set a certain price for yourself that when bitcoin eventually hits it you will sell a certain percentage of your assets and hodl the remainder. You can repeat this strategy if bitcoins price keep multiplying your asset.

Everyone is holdle bitcoin in the bear market and planning to sell in the bull market, now, when finally, the bull market  comes should I sell all my bitcoins and prepare to accumulate from afresh in the next bear market again? or should I keep some percentage to continue the accumulation?
Come to think of it, when the bull run finally arrives and you sell off all your bitcoins and made a reasonable profit and bitcoins price keep going up you rae going to miss out on the continuous opportunity to realize more profit from the market and you can not think of buying back yet because the price keeps increasing and it would be risky to buy at an high price because you don’t know how far the price will keep going. So it would be wise not to sell all of your bitcoin so you can keep realizing profit from the market.

You can always buy back later for the next bull run. And looking at the past performance, the price difference between bull market and bear market is quite big, so in the past selling all coins wasn't a risky decision if you sell late during the bull run. The biggest risk in selling all coins is that the price will keep going up and never fall down below that level ever again. To avoid this it's better to not sell early in the bull market and wait for the bull market to mature.
It is quite possible to buy back later but will bitcoin price fall back below the price he initially got his bitcoins? I doubt it but it is possible though, the best thing is to avoid costly mistakes when the bull run arrives. I advise not to sell all but if he must he should until the bull run matures just as you said before selling them. Selling all your bitcoin too early will make one regret his decision and buying back might be challenging because of the cost of buying back.

Don’t sell all your Bitcoins, this was my biggest trading mistake in over 10 years and I am never going to do it again. Just because the majority of people believe the bear market is around the corner doesn’t make them right. It's true that the majority of traders could easily influence prices if they all work together, but this is only going to be a short term price movements and the should recover quickly again. The main problem of selling all your coins is that you are completely out of the market, you took your profit and you are not going to participate from any future price increases. Do you really think that you are a 100% right about the next bear market, what if it doesn't come and prices rally even higher? As long as you don't need the money there is no reason to sell the majority of your coins. So, my recommendation to you is to never sell all of your coins ever. Take some profit if you need the money, but always keep some coins in case prices are rising quickly again.

It's important to remember that every individual's investment strategy is unique and should align with their personal financial goals. However, completely selling all your bitcoins in the bull market may not be the best idea. Keeping a portion of your coins for long-term accumulation may pay off in the future as Bitcoin continues to grow in value. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what works best for your investment strategy.

What you want to do is entirely up to you, but you should first decide what your personal plan is. There are many people in life who don't want to sell everything in bull market or their plan is long term they will work for long term so they don't want to sell completely in bull market. When you invest it is entirely your responsibility to hold it as the market value continues to rise and how long you hold it is entirely up to you.

Investing is always the best course of action, as market prices don't rise steadily over time. You can sell during a bulltrend and buy on a decline, but this would increase earnings anxiety. You could wait until you're satisfied, considering the advantages early investors have. Creating a partial selling and holding strategy may be beneficial, but it may cause regret if the market moves in the opposite direction after selling.

If everyone is hodling in the bears and we have those that are busy buying in the bear market as well, it brings to mind who are those selling in this periods?
It’s practically impossible for everyone to hold at the same time. Neither will you be able to have people just selling in the bull market with no active buyers to enable you realize these profits.

There is a concept to take profit I feel has been misunderstood. Take profit doesn’t mean you have to liquidate your capital in the process as well but. It involves you taking the increase on your invested capital, the net of that.

By all means, never sell but even at that, I would propose you stay in the game, reinvesting your profit as well to make more off it if you can endure and sort out your needs from other streams to your income.

Bull market is where you get your profit if you are a hodler. Bear market is the best time to buy so if you wait for the next next bull run you will surely miss the opportunity to reap the profit in the current uptrend or peak. If you are a long term hodler just don't mind the trend. If you want to sell I think you need to diversify your assets so you can sell on the desired price you wanted.

I think it's fair to say that everyone has their own market fears or tolerance in regards to long term holding, if you can't take a simple red candle then I don't think holding for a long time is your style and taking profits at the first bull run is okay...then there those that can buy the dip and just say Bitcoin see you after 5 years and look away these will block out all noise and hodl without any fear and these usually are the big boys(whale's)…

But at the end of the day everyone is entitled to what works for them without the need to have panic attacks.
