As far as my understanding of the crypto market goes, it will be preferable for someone to sell all of their bitcoin at once during a bull run and then buy back during a bear market.

For instance, suppose you sold all of your bitcoin assets at $100k (a speculative price) during the bull run and waited for the bear market to begin, which would endure for at least two years. There is no way the price of bitcoin won't drop to $15k–$20k between that period.

During the previous bull run, the price of bitcoin was $69k, but during the bear market, it went down to $15k. Wouldn't you regret why you didn't sell at a high price during the previous bull run and buy back at a low price? Although the opportunity is there to buy again at a discount price

Thus, the best line of action is to sell all of your bitcoin at once during the bull run and then buy it back at a discounted price.

well, it is easy to say such but how do you really know if it is bull or bear run? and also, it depends on your financial targets here or your capability to hold long term. we can't say this to all crypto users because they have their own financial needs. maybe, people are associating the bull run to the ATH that we have experienced. but so far, if we refer on this, we are still on the bearish season. so depending on your goals here, and your financial situation, it is on you how you decide on this matter and not anyone else.

Everyone is holdle bitcoin in the bear market and planning to sell in the bull market, now, when finally, the bull market  comes should I sell all my bitcoins and prepare to accumulate from afresh in the next bear market again? or should I keep some percentage to continue the accumulation?
There is no guaranteed advice here, you make the decision and it should be in the core of the initial plan. Apart from that, you should also have an optional plan to deal with your doubts.
It is clear that Bitcoin will experience several more bear-bull market phases in the future, the question is whether you are in a profitable position or not.
Bullish and bearish continue to come alternately. It's just that we don't know where this bullish market will end. And from what price the market will experience another long decline. It is difficult to determine which level the bearish market will end at and which level the bullish market will end at. This is what makes it difficult for us to make a choice when is the right time to sell everything and start accumulating again. But yes, as long as we are satisfied with the profits we have obtained. Then it doesn't matter from which level we sell. But in accumulating we also have to be patient by waiting for the market to actually fall back to its lowest level in the future. And it is possible that the lowest level in the future will be the level close to ATH in the last halving. And the price of 16k-30k will probably be difficult for us to find again.

Everyone holding bitcoins and altcoins for bull run , so the wise trader is the one who buy at dip and sell at pump. Simple rule is that buy as much coins as you can at dip and then wait for the market to turn green and then sell and again wait for the dip. And if you buy a bitcoin for a long term then wait for that time !

It is very important for us to make decisions on our own not seeking for other people's advise to follow because we all are simply different from each other. If you anyone thinks that selling is the best decision for them now that the market is down, if there is a good reason to back that decision, that could be absolutely better than just taking a step of selling just because we feel like selling our holdings. There are big investors that might decide to sell part of there Bitcoin holdings for business reasons and that do not mean that are will be in loses. There are people that had been holding Bitcoin for long when the price was $8k and selling now is still profitable.
Crypto Market is volatile and we don't know about the market movement next minute. As said different users have varied thinking and the same could cause difference with the earning out of the market. If an user had followed the suggestions from a person and if that hadn't profited him, then this could be hurting the user. If the same decision is made of his own, then this could be a learning. Over the last few days there is good rise in the price of bitcoin and we can't be judgemental whether it is pure bull market or not.

I don't think selling all bitcoin in the bull market is a good idea. Why?
It’s everyone's choice to either sell all their bitcoin in the next bull run or just sell some parts. I am a bitcoin holder, and I have the amount I am planning to sell during the next bull run, then I will leave some parts of the remaining bitcoin. Some people think everything about bitcoin ends in the current bull run, but after the bull run, everything about bitcoin continues, and sure, bitcoin is going to pump more. If you are holding bitcoin, then you can just decide to sell some percentage in the next bull run and keep the rest.

Everyone is holdle bitcoin in the bear market and planning to sell in the bull market, now, when finally, the bull market  comes should I sell all my bitcoins and prepare to accumulate from afresh in the next bear market again?

That’s just what most people are planning to do, but bitcoin might not dump to the price at which they bought it previously. I know it’s good to always take profits, but that does not mean all their bitcoin should be sold when the bull run starts. We all know bitcoin will continue to grow even after the bull run. Some people think maybe after a bull run, the bitcoin price will stop growing, which is wrong, even after a bull run, we are going to see an increase in the bitcoin price.

As I've said many times, I wish people were more concerned about how bitcoin is doing in terms of it's technological advancements, it's adoption by the mainstream etc.  Making "profits" is good and great and all, but lets focus on what really matters.

As an advisor I'll say this about whether you should sell or hold...it completely depends on your entire financial situation, and NO ONE can give you good advice if they don't know that whole situation.  That said, it also depends on your income needs and faith in bitcoins future.

My thought is not to sell Bitcoins because they can serve as your store of value. As for other altcoins, yes, they can be traded.

It totally depends on you. You can keep it longer if you want. Again in your real life if you need money to invest then you have to sell your invested money. However, not everyone is waiting for a bull market to sell all their money in cryptocurrencies. They try to last longer. If you don't have any personal problems, invest for a long time without selling the whole bitcoin. Then you too can become rich in future.

Selling bitcoin in the bull market is a personal decision,  which one can decides to sell of the bitcoin or part of it and still keep hodling some to make more profit. The bul market is a season to make profit from every investment, whoever is satisfied with the profit made so far in the bull market have right to sell any amount of the investment. The target of investing  bitcoin is to hodl till the bull season which can be said to be a successful investment, at this point it is left for anybody to do whatever anyone wishes to do with his/ her money.

The bull Season is also a time investors needs to be vgiliant with their investment to always take profit, no one can predict when the bull market is going to be over, investors don't need to hodl their coin forever because the bull season will definitely end for the bear market to take place.

I don't think selling all bitcoin in the bull market is a good idea.
All of us here already know and see, the things that say about Bitcoin's current or future development, there are a myriad of reasons, halvings, factors, analysis, predictions for the development of Bitcoin, but none of that has happened yet, the question: is it possible that everything that is being talked about can happen...! Of course, time will determine all that.

Back to ourselves, how to think and consider selling Bitcoin during a bullish market or not, honestly if I consider the current market conditions it is not in a bullish position, this is more directed at a simulated market, meaning that Bitcoin is not currently being thought about for sale, maybe I'll wait for some of the things that have been talked about to happen, then I'll consider selling and make sure the bull market really happens.

If the question was asked only to me as an investor, I would say that I would never sell my investment given the current market conditions.  To catch the market condition is good now but when the market turned very bad even then I didn't get disappointed with my investment because I had enough confidence in the market. Since the market has been able to move from such a bad state to around $30K it is not impossible for this market to reach $60K. I have invested in a long term plan there my plan is if the market goes between $50K to $60K then I will sell all my investments otherwise I will be patient and wait for better market times but I will not sell my investment at this time.

I have read comments of people regretting of not selling during the previous Bull run. Some persons sold and still bought expecting the price to go more up for more gains because of greed they could not sell again because instead it dipped and they were left holding their Bitcoins till now. (If they haven't sold it because of fear of more dip). Perhaps most Bitcoin holders have had a good plan or strategize their actions they will implement when the next Bitcoin bull run comes. Even a lot of people still buy more Bitcoin using the DCA method so they can sell high in the next Bull run.

I don't see selling all of your Bitcoin as a good idea. People talk a lot about Dcaing in but they do not talk about Dcaing out. If you have the intention of selling during the next bull run then selling gradually like weekly till you sold the amount you want to.

I think our main goal is to make a profit from investing in Bitcoin. So anyone who has as much capital, or as much capital as they can invest, invests in Bitcoin. So, I slightly disagree with you. In the bull season we should sell all our Bitcoin whenever we feel that the market is giving us a good profit, because no one knows the complete top, you can sell your Bitcoin step by step during the same bull season.

As far as I am concerned, buying again when the market is down will be the best strategy in the next bear season. The crypto market continues to fluctuate, so the most successful people are those who buy at the bottom and sell at the top. You can guess when the price of Bitcoin reached 67 thousand dollars, If someone didn't sell all of their Bitcoin, after that Bitcoin fell to $15,000.

I have no problem with the plan to sell all bitcoin in a bull market because that is what I would do as well. But I think those who do not intend to sell all their bitcoins will also have a reason, maybe they expect a higher price and they achieved their profit target without selling all their bitcoins. And if bitcoin doesn't go higher like they expected, continuing to hold it won't hurt them. It's a trade-off they've considered and are willing to accept. Moreover, if they didn't sell when bitcoin hit $100k and it dropped to $15k, but if they still haven't sold then that means they haven't lost money yet. Each person will have a different investment plan.

That was your decision as well and the others probably have different insights. Honestly, it is an individual decision while some are selling off their coins, some are also continuing to hold.

Selling the entire investment during the bull season is not unusual, in fact, I have done it before but I have no regrets as I double my money which I can use to buy more Bitcoin when the bull season is over. That is my strategy and I know a lot of people are doing the same. Whether it was right or wrong but as long as I make some profit during that time, I consider it a right decision.

Those type of posts are mostly by those that have never experienced bitcoin halving before.

Some of them might have experienced the halving, but they are not holders, so they never have the holders version of experience.

So one time or the first time that they are opportuned to join the holder club, they mostly believe the raise is to gather whatever you can buy based on the money you have at your disposal and use and save them till the hacking time, and the halving time is supposed to be their tame profit time. Those that have that kind of mindset can't hold for a long period of time, and most of them always end up getting disappointed because the halving might not bring in the positive market as they expect or that instant.

It's only those who bought Bitcoin for holdings who have a specific amount that they want to hold before a given period that won't even get bothered by the bull run; they might just sell a few of their holdings in order not to be left behind and continue with their holding and accumulation journey.

More than 70% of the assets I hold I will sell — I will most likely do so if the price reaches more than the previous ATH. If the market is only bullish and does not reach the previous ATH price, I will cancel my planned selling plan to continue accumulation and wait for the new ATH.
For me, selling bitcoins is too easy for me to do but accumulating bitcoins is quite difficult, just like resisting the temptation to hold in a market full of FUD.

When I was able to hold on strongly until the price reached a new ATH, I felt I had received an award certificate of extraordinary value because the target to get to the final goal was full of challenges, unlike how other people see someone's success, meaning people might see the path taken as very smooth. but it is not.

It depends on your preference because others sell all of it because anytime they can buy back when its already bear market as it is not always a bull market, but others also sell off Bitcoin only what they need. But for myself I do prefer not selling all and keep holding some of it until I can because I could possibly gain more profit from it incase and I do still buy on bear market to accumulate. Your mindset should always be getting back your capital first and after that is the time you decide if you sell it off or not.
