Maybe with their financial wealth they can buy anything, but not with family, time, health.

Being financially rich does not necessarily make us happy, there must be things that we want to buy to fulfill the current luxurious lifestyle. you are right that health is more expensive. financial wealth is only about numbers and nominal. So it is better to live well with good relationships with family, than to live with abundant wealth but not mentally happy.

being rich is indeed based on the posession of materialistic, after all I presume it words that illustrate material, the fact that we owns much money means we are rich that alone already elaborate the meaning of the words but of course, there are other ways to be rich like having good spiritual mindset, where we always seek peace is a richness on its own but really from the standpoint of many people out there rich means you posses much money.
I personally would consider being rich as posessing many materialistic stuff as well, since its easiest to determine, doesn't mean other people can't have different opinion, it relative to each individual. but i will follow the general meaning of it around general public.
therefore having good income and without debt come first, then peace can take place after that, because after all, thats definitely the exact reason money is required primarily, to find peace.

Defining wealth is always different from person to person, and this is my version of it.

- Meeting all the needs of the household
- Have savings and emergency and other insurance for the family
- Having a big business/enterprise as the main income
- Have some diversified investments (BTC/gold/property and other assets).
- House + Car is a necessity for our daily life
- Have prosperity for family and loved ones including relatives.

If I have fulfilled the above then I will be called rich, if other people have different views then I will not ignore it. Grin

Apparently, we consider rich people who have more things than the necessities of life. Big cars, big palaces, big business and land are the signs of rich people. Every desire and every facility in the world is at their doorstep. They never have to worry about money. In case of illness, they can get treatment in any expensive hospital in any country of the world.

Their income is more than their expenses. This is everyone's perception of rich people, but in my opinion, rich is the one who is easily satisfied with the necessities of life and is completely healthy. If you have peace in your life, you are rich. There is no limit to wealth, but the more it is, the more the lust of man increases. In my opinion, if you have no disease, you are physically fit, then you are the richest man in the world.

Once I'm financially stable, in the sense that I can take care of my daily needs, cater to my family needs and loved ones and build a dream house, buy a dream car, marry a dream wife, and have an investment portfolio like investing in the real estate which has been my childhood dream business, own some companies and lastly, invest in Gold and Bitcoin then I will tend to comfortably say that I'm rich.

Big houses, there are more than 1 car and they are earning huge money that even their huge spending they still have extra money. Thats my perspective of rich people having all the assets that an average person finds hard to obtain, and mostly their salary or let's say their income is 10x the average person's salary. I do live in a 3rd world country, and this is what I noticed in my neighbors so it is very easy to distinguish those kinds of people from middle-class or poor people by taking a look on their houses and what car they are driving.

In my own world, been wealth means having more than you need, living in a paradise and capable of feeding millions of people, you don't have to, just saying, wealth is different from rich.

Been rich is living a comfortable life, but can't afford everything still, you know, you still have some boundaries on what you can afford, but honestly, everyone have their own definition of been rich and been wealthy.

To me it's not only about having all the resources and assets, but been healthy plays the biggest role in this, you can't enjoy your wealthy life if you aren't healthy, that's why my parents always say that health is the real wealth, while j am climbing my steps up to a higher level I don't joke with my health, I always engage in intense exercise every two days and I take good stuffs for my body, many people ignore their bodies but there is more to the body been given to you, take care of yourselves.

Rich for other people is about living with those expensive luxury cars, having all the material things that are giving them the status of life way higher than the others. Well, that's what rich to them but if we're going to be the simple type of living in richness, it is you have everything you need. You don't live on a luxury life but just a simple life without having any pressures at all. You're okay even if you don't have the most expensive house, clothes, you're still happy with the way you live and that's one simple life of what richness to most of us.

As far as I know, when we are talking about rich, it is related to the money or financial or wealth. Be rich, means we have an established financial condition or we have excess of money. To reach this, we surely need to have good jobs that can guarantee much money to earn weekly or monthly. If we are only an average employee/worker, it seems difficult to get much money.

Regarding the stability on moral/emotional, it is related to how we learn the life values. It is nothing to do with our jobs, it is related to how we learn deeply about our religion and how we learn the ethics in social life.

Some people are fulfilling their desires and wants in life, despite not fully having a financial stability to provide all your essential needs. It's maybe for the reason to resist the temptation to buy the wants or to meet up the expectation of the society that you could afford something pricey, which is really dumb cause you could focus on buying things you really need than into luxury, which you can use the money to invest and then later on once you achieved financial stability, then that's the time you have the freedom to buy things you really want, this is for my opinion only.

And I also agree with your statement, rich cannot only be measured by money, but as well for the health of the person and the peace of mind they have. That's prove that they are rich in terms of having a good health, we can observed that it could be attain by all of the people, still it's really hard to achieve so it can be considered as achievement/successful.
