✂️ because nowadays people have fallen much to money and they don't consider the poor ones and people think of having good relationship with the people who have good sum of money.
This may sound harsh but it is inevitable. Rich people will not want to make friends or maintain relationships with poor people because they think that making friends with poor people will reduce their wealth. In my country, poor people often have the habit of accepting their fate, often drinking after every hour of work, preferring to have fun rather than work...So continuing that relationship will only make you more like them, which will cause your wealth to decrease because your productivity will also decrease. Therefore, it is difficult to blame some people who become rich but forget about friends and relatives and choose other relationships of the same class. Because they want to achieve more success and they know that if one day they encounter difficulties, no one will help them. Meanwhile, if the poor don't want to be looked down upon, I think they should make more efforts instead of complaining about their fate and accept it.

Richness for me is when you don't look at the pricetag anymore, you just buy whatever you want without asking the price. It is when you buy anything at any price and yet you still have a lot of money left, like you don't know where to spend it.

Richness is about having financial freedom, where you didn't trampled anyone's lives just to get where you are. It is about the kindness, and respect you have that's why your businesses became success all of the time, and yet you remain humble and helped those people who needs your help.

Rich means a worry-free life. It's more than financial abundance or having many assets. People often associate this worry-free state with the term "financial freedom," which, in my opinion, is inaccurate. The key here is living your life to the fullest, doing anything you love and with people you care about.
You are right, as I have already seen or heard many rich people who are still problematic. Obviously that isn't about the money anymore but it can be about personal matter, relationships, etc... . Maybe the saying is really true that you can't have anything in life. Poor people don't have boat loads of money but they are the ones who are mostly happy in a much genuine way.

And if we noticed, if we ask them if what are their wishes, they will usually say money (lots of it), so that that they can now do what they can't do or now have what they can't have with of course together with their loved ones because the feeling is going to be much better if we share it to them.

Yes, sometimes rich people or people who have a lot of wealth have different family problems, for example, like people who are rich in terms of wealth but they have poor family ties, maybe they are sibuk because of their respective careers, so there is a lack of time for togetherness. In contrast, a family with a modest budget can always gather to chat and joke. Indeed, in my opinion, there are also things that get in the way when you are rich, whether it's in terms of anything but there must be. I only know a few families who are rich and have good relationships within the family.

I think being rich is what everyone wants. But the problem is on our own, when we are rich can we maintain family relationships to remain good and harmonious, because if we are rich there are things that deny and can reduce time together with family. It seems to be true that it is better to live well and have a harmonious family so that a happy family relationship always exists than to be rich with excessive wealth but lack of time together for the family.

A story that has actually changed the way of what i thought rich means and might help especially young people in this forum https://ninamorai.wordpress.com/2014/01/10/the-circle-of-99-by-jorge-bucay/ . I'd suggest to buy or at least read the book "Let Me Tell You a Story: Tales Along the Road to Happiness" from the author  , it contains great wisdom .

"CIRCLE OF 99 JORGE BUCAY

Once upon a time, there was a big king, powerful and immensely rich but also very unhappy. This sad king had a very happy servant. The servant was bubbly, smiley and he was always singing happily. The king became impatient with his happiness and asked him: – Why are you always so happy?
– Well, you treat me right, I make ends meet enough to feed my family & myself, even a little bit more, I have a beautiful wife & healthy kids. Why shouldn’t I be happy? I’m just happy.
Of course the king was not satisfied with his answer and called the wise man from his Kingdom to help him solve the mystery.
The wise consultant said – It’s because he is outside the circle of 99 while you’re inside.
-What are you talking about? What is the circle of 99? – The puzzled king asked
– Are you willing to lose some golden coins to find out? – The wise man suggested to which the king answered positively
– Prepare for tomorrow a sac with 99 golden coins and at night we will go to the servant’s house – Said the wise man
When it was night, the wise man and the king went secretly to the servant’s house, knocking on the door they left the sac with the coins and a note that said: “This money is yours. It’s your prize for being such a good man. Enjoy!”
When the servant found the sac, he couldn’t believe his eyes. He was over the moon. He was laughing and singing and thanking God for his good fortune. He then started counting the money by making piles of 10 coins till he realized a pile had only 9 coins. There were 99 golden coins. “There is one missing, there should be 100”- he thought. He searched all around the house for hours, couldn’t find anything. He was sure that someone took his one coin and he started swearing and cursing. He began to think how he could gain one golden coin. He thought “with 100 coins I can say that I’m rich, I will not have to work, I will be important and respected in the kingdom”. He did some calculations and realized that he needed 10 years in order to earn one more golden coin, “10 years, that’s too much” – he thought – Perhaps my wife can help me by selling in the market on weekends, even depriving from certain things, perhaps in 4 or 5 years I will make it. He got a second job, he was eating only a piece of bread every day and he stopped burning wood to keep warm so he was sleeping in a cold room every night with hardly anything to wear and starving.

In few days, the tired and haggard servant serving the King when the latter asked– What’s wrong servant? Why are you not smiling and singing like before?

– Sir, I do my duty as I should. You pay me to do my job, I don’t need to give you explanations for my behavior or frame of mind – The upset servant replied.

The king laid off the servant for being insolent and understood perfectly this was how he entered the circle of 99. He stopped being happy.

99 coins are the 100% of our treasure. Nothing is missing, no one stole anything, 100 is not as round as 99 is. It’s just a trap, a carrot they swing in front of us, to make us stupid enough to keep moving tired, unhappy and compromised. A trap so that we never stop to push so that everything remains the same. Things can change only if we become able to enjoy our treasures as they are."

Having enough income to be able to fulfill everything we want will indeed make the life we live easier because we don't need to think that if we want something then we can get it, but there are also some people who don't have many desires and their lives are still happy. People who have a lot of wealth do not necessarily have a happy life like people who have little wealth because they have to think about how to protect the wealth they have so that no one takes it from them.

I once asked someone who was quite old, why he didn't want to accumulate a lot of wealth even though the food business he was running was selling well and was of interest to many people, he said he was afraid that what he had collected so far would fall into the hands of other people, actually he was afraid like that, it's very normal, especially if we have children and then our children marry someone who is a jerk, then the wealth we have accumulated so far will be enjoyed by someone who is a jerk. since then I started to respect the thoughts of people who live simply, I know they have big reasons for living like that, a lot of money is not true wealth according to them.

In my opinion, you are not rich if you can't buy most of the things that you want, though it doesn't mean that those things should be supercars and private plans and stuff because those things are only for millionaires and billionaires, you should at least be able to have a very good house, a very good car, and almost every single thing that you want and need in your life. You are not rich if you can just have a party and enjoy yourself after fulfilling the daily needs of your life, even a middle-class person can save enough money to be able to enjoy their life in some way.

It's obviously not easy to get rich, that is the reason why everyone is always chasing it but only a few can actually succeed in getting rich because it takes a lot of hard work and dedication and financial management skills because these things are essential for someone to gain and then maintain wealth.

It is not debatable that being rich boost one’s confidence and it’s give you this extra charisma and courage to be  in any gathering. That feeling of satisfaction when you know that  you’re capable and can  afford anything you mind please without stress is undisputed. When you can afford times 2 of something and when I say something I mean something of value, something befitting for a rich person to own without panicking about the price then you have reach that level of financial freedom. A person is not rich if he doesn’t have properties or a fix asset that can back him up in his financial career. The asset can be his businesses and investments, money without proper management can be misuse and having a lot of it doesn’t guarantee you rich cause, the money can be gone with a speed of light.
Being rich is more about having just money, to me the assets and properties says it all and how well you can handle this stardom. It’s not an easy ride to climb to the top if you’re not from a family with a silver spoon, there are several setbacks on the way and once you eventually get there it’s not advisable for stay too comfortable. Cause big money comes with big problems, you gotta stay prepared and ready to face anything.

It's one of question which differs from person to person. How do you define richness?
This kind of question is very subjective and there will be a variety of answers that will arise every time people give individual statements. Wealth cannot be separated from the number of assets, money, buildings, having a big business and our influence everywhere so that we can be defined as rich people. This definition will become more different when people consider that true wealth is not about how much we have, but rather how comfortable we are in living quietly and not having debts with other people.

From a definition or economic point of view, wealth means the total accumulated assets that we have, the more we have, the richer the person will be. But if our lives are fulfilled and we are able to buy something we want, that is also wealth which is defined according to each of us because words are subjective and relative in interpreting different types of wealth.

For me Rich means you don't need to worry about any expenses and you could buy the things you like while not caring about the price.
You have money for emergency expenses and it wouldn't affect your other budget, you don't need to save because you have enough and earning more than your expenses.
thats basically having high income but thats true, if the income so massive it allows us to buy something we want even luxurious stuff meanwhile that doesn't really affect the wellbeing of our own financial circumstance, that means we already well off, but does that also means rich? not necessarily, I would consider rich is having no debt while having so much money in our banks.
of course we all know that being rich is alternative to someone's preference, after all there is no silver lining as to what rich is.
but i would say, pretty much for everyone, getting above the middle class income standard around the world is already rich enough.

A person able to meet his basic needs of food, shelter and clothing is considered rich. This is upon my understanding, because for what purpose we run here and there and earn. The prime thing is to fill our stomach with healthy diet and live long. Next thing is to show ourselves good with our appearance and for that we're in need of clothes. To have our life secure unlike the change of weather condition we need to have a roof over our head and that is fulfilled by a house. Beyond that whatever we make could give us the additional comfort and the better convenience. Beyond all this, being kind to the human beings next to you makes you rich, because nowadays people have fallen much to money and they don't consider the poor ones and people think of having good relationship with the people who have good sum of money.

Rich is where you feel enough with your daily needs e.g. foods, place to live, afford to buy clothes, have a party etc. Having a party and afford to buy something like clothes are daily needs because you need a self reward and entertainment to enjoy the life.

It's not necessary you must have a big desire e.g. buy super car, have a big house etc because that's really hard to achieve and not everyone can have that.
Sure, you have a very simple and optimistic outlook on life. People who are like you enjoy a quiet life. My congratulations Smiley
Every human being has aspirations towards improving his life conditions for the better. Unfortunately, these aspirations were translated into the form of increased consumption rates. This consumerism of society changed people's culture and affected their definition of the concept of self-happiness. This is the logical explanation why the concept of happiness for some is linked to owning many valuable things.

Honestly, everyone has some arguments about what rich is because everyone has their own conditions and perspectives to say their version of rich.
But in this case I am quite confused about describing my version of rich because in the end this is only oriented towards money and the amount that is owned but on the other hand I also think of something simpler because when saying rich is only oriented towards money it will make me more ambitious in pursuing money so for my version rich is actually about how we are comfortable with what we do in life such as we can buy the things we need and we want without looking at the price first or maybe we already have economic stability and are not too dependent on other people or loans to support life, that I think is enough to be categorized as someone who is rich especially maybe for myself like that.

When we do speak rich literally then it would be pertaining to;

1. Supercars
2. Mansion
3. Travel around the world
4. Tons of assets/real estate
5. VIP benefits
6. Unlimited purchases

or simply extravagant way of living which we know that only a few people of this world would really be having this kind of situation
and thats the reality. Hapiness in other people would really be that pertaining into those non-tangible or something that cant be touched which
it is true that they do really have value but whether we do like it or not, people would really be that focusing on having more money.

For me richness is the state where person is abundant of everything.  Both physical and mental are in good health, there is no problem with finances and it can be able to sustain several generations that follows even without working.  There is a bountiful love from our love ones and relatives, and friends.  For me being rich is having all our basic needs and wants to be able to meet and do not have any problem of lacking with them in the future.
This is where we all that aiming on which having that richness that even if we dont work we could really be able to survive without any problems since we could really be able to sustain
which we can really tell in short that having that financial capacity which it could really be inherited on future generations and this is something that we are really that
aiming for and this is why we do really do our very best on attaining such condition or situation no matter what.

Back when I was still a stupid little jit I thought being rich only meant having lots of money a la scrooge, but as I got older, earned my own dime, lost jobs, earned less than minimum wage, and became a full-fledged freelancer with a sizable holding in the crypto world, I started to realize that there's levels to being rich and it doesn't just involve having "a lot of money" per se. For one, people may have a lot of money to burn, but have no savings at the same time, those I can't consider rich. To me, for you to be inherently rich, you have to have, multiple facets of savings, income streams that branch out so you don't have to worry about losing one job, as well as having assets and properties that work for you. Once you get all of this, you're comfortably rich to me.

This is why I am of the opinion that richness is subjective. An individual who comes from a close-knit family where there is no sickness, where they have a farm land that sustains them they may consider themselves to be rich. For these folks, richness is about family, health, and sustenance. However, for someone who lives in the Western world richness maybe the supercars, having multiple citizenship, a house in Hollywood and so on. My perspective on being rich is family, health, and career. Once these are achieved to about 60% I can say that I am rich.

To me, being rich means you can afford your dreams. If you have a roof over your head and you can get food on your table three times a day, then to some people you are rich. You are in the 75% of people who can be considered rich. If you have a roof over your head and you can go to places that you want to visit or dreamed of then you could be considered rich amongst the 18% rich people of the world. And if you have all of this and still don't need to work hard then you are amongst the top 1%.

The definition of being rich could differ from people to people. People who are unable to have three meals every day will think those who are getting that are rich. And the person who is able to have three meals a day but have no luxury of traveling to their dreamed places, those who can travel those places are rich to them. So you get my point. Even if you have enough you will always look up to people who have more than you.

As I said, being able to make your dreams come true with money is being rich to me. I want to be able to go to a store and buy something without asking the price. That's the definition of rich for me. But I am not sad that I can't do that right now. I am happy with what I can afford right now. I think that is the important thing.
