Gambling is a game of luck for me and because there is luck that will make gambling can generate profits and losses, there is nothing wrong when there are many different definitions and perspectives because each individual makes gambling for a different reason and purpose. All of us can define it in our own perception because it may differ on how we look at it whether if it is for entertainment or as a source of income. For me gambling is by definition the act of "chancing" your hand at something where there are different odds of you succeeding or losing something of value. This can be tokens or actual coins or money or digital tokens like Crypto currencies. The odds are always slightly in favor of the person offering you the ability to gamble, because they are doing that to profit. ( I want to say "The house" but some theme parks offer games where you also pay to play games to WIN something of value)
Gambling is also a form of entertainment and a opportunity for you to get the adrenaline pumping, without you having to participate in something dangerous. Gambling can become dangerous, if you do not know when to stop, but for the majority of people it is just a lot of fun and something to spend their idle time on.

You have mentioned all the possible definitions of gambling, what gambling really means for me is a way of entertainment and source of income for me. I gamble because I want to earn money and at the same time to have fun as well, I think that is what other gamblers thought about gambling. Most of us only consider this us our entertainment or something that will kill our boredom but when the time we really need money, we take risks our money from gambling. We bet, we gamble because we want to make more money.
I don't call myself a gambler because I don't gamble every day, and I don't use my most time to gamble. I used gambling as another activity in my free time, and I don't stay for a long time in the gambling places just to playing gambling games. I know consequences and the risk in gambling, so that makes me limit my money and my time. Gambling, for me, means playing some gambling games to have fun and enjoy my free time, but I will stop anytime I want.
